Ethereal {Model Horse Youtube Series}
Project Overview
Ethereal is a Model Horse Youtube Series, created by me, known on YouTube as TheFrostFilly.
Caldera - Is the city of the rich. They are nicknamed as Nobles. They are a worryless breed, satisfied with only the greatest and most exotic spoils a horse can possibly be given. They own, buy, sell, and trade horses called Darlings, which are luxury companions sold for expensive and extensive prices. Usually, the amount of Darlings a Calderian owns, and/or the brand of the Darling, accounts for their social status. The city is surrounded by a giant wall called the Bastion. On the east side of the city, is a gate- it is patrolled and heavily guarded. This gate allows most good exports and imports, including illegally caught or bred Darlings. Caldera has its own government system, which also governs Bostros. Calderian has soldiers, called Knight Angels.
Bostros- An extremely densely populated district located near the city of Caldera. They are in no way rich or wealthy, but range from below middle class to poor. Bostros is full of Calderian soliders. They are told the soliders are there to protect them, but in reality, they are there to keep the Bostrodians in line. Bostrodians are nicknamed Meagers. Calderian solders are nicknamed Liliths.
Un-named - There are many territories in this world that are un-named and barely populated. They have mostly been discovered, but some still remain a mystery.

About | Kai is an 18 year old mare. She depends on her ambitions and dreams to carry her through life. Because of her unique personality, she is often pushed away or ignored, hence why she has almost no friends. She’s quick to act, and easily offended.
Quote | “I’m the best me that I have ever been, but this isn’t the best me I can be.”
(unsure, hesitant) "No, I uh- live, I live in the greenlands. It's..well I'm not sure how far it is from here."
"Wait, I don't understand, so I live here now?"
(angry, frustrated) "Did you think I was just supposed to stand there, like, like one of them!? I'm not a darling! I'm just like you! I'm your equal! In fact, I'd say I'm better than you. If anyone is lower class, it's you!"

Negative Attributes | Clingy, indecisive, narrow minded, vague, timid, weak willed.
About | Ran is a follower, and has unknowingly been looking for someone he can lean and depend on all his life. He wants someone he can have to himself, that will never leave him. Naturally drawn to Kai because of her stronger and ambitious personality, he only wishes she would have fallen in love with him. Ran is a Progressive character. We don’t see him too much in the first season, but he returns in the second/third season as a more important character.

"What are you trying to tell me? Why do you act like you care, like you want me, then pull away so quickly. You are just playing mind games with me aren't you. Sometime's I wonder Kai, whether or not you have a heart."
"She's...she's...she had to go somewhere, she didn't tell me where."
"Kai!? -pauses- Kai, what, what are you doing here? We've been looking for you, we've been searching everywhere for you. I- I've been searching everywhere."

Positive Attributes | Balanced, calm, capable, clear-headed, decisive, disciplined, efficient, focused, independent, knowledgeable.
Negative Attributes | cold, detached, intolerant, possessive, secretive.
About | Aeros is knowledgeable, well known and well looked upon in society. Although there are several rumors that he dislikes everyone he knows, and finds them close to intolerable. He’s doesn’t fool around, and believes only in a straightforward approach to everything.

"What's your name? *pauses* Hm. Alright, well you'll be living here. Stay out of my room, which is across the hall, and don't try to leave."
"I told you to act normally, I told you not to act like a complete idiot. And what did you do? You did the exact opposite! You think that I'll just take this! Pretend that this didn't happen! I think you need a reminded, a reminder that you are only a Darling, and you belong to *me*."

About | Probably one of the most outgoing, hyper, friendly horses you will ever meet. Chandler is a darling, belonging to Aeros. His brand is extremely valuable and rare, and he is the last of his kind. Chandler’s one love in life and obsession is sweets. Does it have a butt-load of sugar? He’ll try it.

"OH, OH OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD WHAT?! HI! HI! I JUST, I NEVER THOUGHT HE WOULD GET ANOTHER DARLING. I MEAN HE ALREADY HATES HAVING ME AROUND, LIKE I LITERALLY ANNOY THE HELL OUT OF HIM! THIS IS AMAZING!"
"Oh no don't worry, he'll come around. I mean, it took him like three years to be okay with me. Well actually, no that's not true. He isn't okay with me. He still hates me. But I'm sure everything will be okay. *smiles* ALRIGHT, Well I'm gonnaaaaa~ go make some cupcakes! Byesss~!"

Negative Attributes | Bossy, conservative, overly dominant, fussy, interfering, obstinate, self-indulgent, vain.
About | Ophelia is one of the most successful business mares in all Caldera. She worked her way to the top, even though she is only half Calderian. Her father was a noble, but her mother was a Bostrodian. Because of how she grew up, and her past, she is very careless concerning her health. She doesn’t think highly of herself, only of her economic value. She works in order to keep her mind off her haunting ghosts and regrets.

"Ah, so you're Rye. Nice to meet you. I read a bit about your past ownerships, which apparently was only one. Well, I just want you to know that things are going to be very different here. In a good way, well, I hope in a good way."
"No, you aren't going to just handle things however you want. This is my contract, my decision, no one else get's to think for me."
"Hahaha oh you thought it would just be that easy. *continues laughing* Ah, Ah I'm sorry. Sometime's I enjoy teasing other's too much."

Negative Attributes | Compulsive, impulsive, interfering, vengeful.
About | Rye is a darling, bred and sold to an older stallion who treated him much like his son. Ever since then, Rye had been taking care of him. Recently, the old stallion passed away, and Rye, was then put up for sale. Sold to Ophelia, his entire life is about to change. He’s never been treated like a darling, never had to act like one.

"Yes, I understand. If you don't mind me asking, what part of the city are we in?"
"You can't keep doing this. Don't you understand, you are practically killing yourself. Don't you care about your own health?"
"This wasn't something I wanted, I never asked for this. This isn't my fault either, so don't you dare pin this on me."

About | Alora is a beauty to behold, no wonder her name means God’s Light. But beside her exterior, she has a pretty solid center. She is independent, smart, and cunning. She is very protective over her younger brother, Aeros. She doesn’t care much for anyone at all, unless they are important and she needs to show fake interest. She’s smart but believes only the wealthy can truly be great. She disregards anyone who isn’t Calderian.

"Oh my, isn't she a pretty little filly. Where did you pick her up from? Honestly I thought the rumors were all wrong, they almost always are. Not to mention this case in particular. I thought I knew my brother better than that."
"Listen, Kai, I think you think too highly of yourself. Not only does it annoy me, but it annoys my brother, much more than me, I'm sure."
"Now, do you *really* think I would do something like that? I am too fond of her. She's just too cute."
In the first season, when Indigo is first seen, she is a young child. But when she returns in the second and third season, she is a teen.

Negative Attributes | Unsure, insecure, doubts-self, nervous, gullible, naive.
About | Probably the cutest curly filly you have ever seen in your life. Indigo is a young foal, stolen from her homelands located in an unnamed territory. She has an extremely sweet nature, but also many courageous and strong undiscovered qualities. Indigo is a Progressive character, we see her briefly in the first season, and do not meet her again until the second/third season as a more important character.
