Undertale Voice Acting Group
Project Overview
Howdy there!
This is my first time doing something like this, so everything is going to be pretty relaxed.
So! Let's get to the details:
You like Undertale? You like voice acting?
You watch Undertale comic dubs and think "Man, I wanna do that, it looks like so much fun"?
Me too.
That's where this idea came from!
I have always wanted to try doing fan-dubs for some of my favorite Undertale content, and so I thought it might be fun to get together a group of equally passionate people to try this for fun!
The comic I want to start with is Endertale by TC-96, as I have gotten permission from the creator to do this. Here is a link to it for those who have not heard of it Endertale Comic.
The plan is to do more comics down the line, so don't be afraid to suggest some of your favorites!
OK, time for rules! This project isn't too strict, but there are some guidelines.
- You will need to have a discord, as that's where everything will be organized. We will also hold group voice acting sessions so we all can play off each other with our lines!
- You do NOT have to have a professional expensive fancy set-up for this project! As long as we can hear your voice clearly with as minimal background noise as possible, you're good to go!
- This is an unpaid project, as it is all just for fun.
- You can audition for more than one character if you so choose!
- The deadline is tentative because CCC required me to put one down.

Ah a classic, everyone's favorite skeleton.
I chose some longer lines where he's simply just talking. I would like to see you take the lines and make them sound natural, like you are Sans, just talking to a friend.
Feel free to improvise around the lines if it helps you, but stick to the same idea.
For voice characteristics I'm looking for a deeper male voice. Laid back but to an extent where it almost be eerie.
Any accent is fine, just go with how you personally would interpret Sans's voice.
"haven't i done a great job protecting you? i mean, look at yourself. you haven't died a single time. hey, what's that look supposed to mean? am i wrong...?"
"i asked her what was up. then she told me something strange. 'if a human ever comes through this door... ...could you please, please promise something? watch over them, and protect them, will you not? now, i hate making promises. and this woman, i don't even know her name. but... someone who sincerely likes bad jokes... has an integrity you can't say 'no' to."
"you can't understand how this feels. knowing that one day, without any warning... it's all going to be reset. look. i gave up trying to go back a long time ago. and getting to the surface doesn't really appeal anymore, either. 'cause even if we do... we'll just end up right back here, without any memory of it, right? to be blunt... it makes it kind of hard to give it my all. ... or is that just a poor excuse for being lazy...? hell if i know."
Have fun with this one! Papyrus is loud and eccentric! Be dramatic, but genuine. A deep male voice is preferred. Any accent is fine, just go with how you interpret his voice.
"I WILL BE THE ONE! I MUST BE THE ONE! I WILL CAPTURE A HUMAN! THEN, I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS... WILL GET ALL THE THINGS I UTTERLY DESERVE!"
"THAT'S RIGHT, HUMAN! YOU CAN WIN!! JUST DO WHAT I, WOULD DO... BELIEVE IN YOU!!!"
"FIRST: YOU'RE A FREAKING WEIRDO! NOT ONLY DO YOU NOT LIKE PUZZLES. BUT THE WAY YOU SHAMBLE ABOUT FROM PLACE TO PLACE... THE WAY YOUR HANDS ARE ALWAYS COVERED IN DUSTY POWDER.

Undyne! The angry fish lady. Just like Papyrus, she too, is eccentric and loud. Feel free to improvise around the lines if needed, to make them seem more natural.
A deep female voice is preferred, not necessarily raspy, confident and strong.
"I'll make you like me so much... Your WHOLE LIFE will revolve around me!! FUHUHUHUHU!!!"
"I don't actually want to hurt you either. At first, I hated your stupid saccharine schtick, but... The way you hit me right now, it... Reminded me of someone I used to train with"
"NGAHHH!!! DIE ALREADY, YOU LITTLE BRAT! YOU'RE GETTING IN MY WAY!"
Toriel! A strong yet soft, motherly voice is specifically preferred for Toriel. She is compassionate and powerful and I want that to show in the way she speaks.
Any accent is fine, and like many of the other roles, feel free to improvise around the lines if it helps you to make them feel more natural.
"I've also prepared a curriculum for your education. This may come as a surprise to you... But I have always wanted to be a teacher. ...actually, perhaps that isn't very surprising."
"You are stronger than I thought... Listen to me, small one... If you go beyond this door, Keep walking as far as you can. Eventually you will reach an exit. ....... ASGORE... Do not let ASGORE take your soul. His plan cannot be allowed to succeed. ...... Be good, won't you? My child."
"You... ...at my most vulnerable moment... To think I was worried you wouldn't fit in out there... Eheheheh!!! You really are no different than them!"
Asgore, his voice should be deep, powerful, but holding a deeper sadness.
Any accent is fine.
"Human... I promise you... For as long as you remain here... My wife and I will take care of you as best we can."
"I just want to see my wife. I just want to see my child."
"Human... it was nice to meet you. Goodbye."
I would like Flowey and Asriel to have the same voice actor. You are encourage to make the two voices sound different, yet feel similar.
Any gender can audition for Asriel, just aim to sound like a young boy.
For Flowey, try to sound so pleasant it feels fake and creepy.
Pronounce Chara as Care-Uh. like CHARActer.
Any accent is fine.
I... I don't like this idea, Chara. Wh.. what? N-no, I'm not... ...big kids don't cry. Yeah, you're right. No! I'd never doubt you, Chara. ...Never! Y... yeah! We'll be strong! We'll free everyone. I'll go get the flowers. - Asriel
I don't care about destroying this world anymore. After I defeat you and gain total control over the timeline... I just want to reset everything. All your progress... Everyone's memories. A child who is hurt and confused, and angry. Try to sound creepy, with a hint of anger.
Any accent is fine.
Greetings, I am Chara. Thank you. Your power awakened me from death. My "human soul"... My "determination"... They were not mine, but YOURS. At first, I was so confused. Our plan had failed, hadn't it? Why was I brought back to life? ...You. With your guidance. I realized the purpose of my reincarnation. Power. Together, we eradicated the enemy and became strong. HP. ATK. DEF. GOLD. EXP. LV. Every time a number increases, that feeling... That's me. "Chara."
Right. You are a great partner. We'll be together forever, won't we?
No...? Hmmm... How curious. You must have misunderstood. SINCE WHEN WERE YOU THE ONE IN CONTROL?
Mettaton!! Be DRAMATIC. Be FABULOUS.
Honestly, any gender is fine for Mettaton, he transcends gender roles.
Just have fun with him. Any accent is fine.
You actually don't have to try to sound natural with him, try to sound over dramatic and exaggerated.
If you flipped my switch, that can only mean one thing. You're desperate for the premiere of my new body. How rude... Lucky for you, I've been aching to show this off for a long time. So... as thanks, I'll give you a handsome reward. I'll make your last living moments... ABSOLUTELY beautiful!
"They left!? Why!?" I asked, dying dramatically
I felt... A strange feeling... Two of them. One, a pang of... regret.
And two... I bet it would be really popular, if they could cry up ice for my ski resort...
This is for characters who are not necessarily main characters, for background voices, or to just be available for when additional characters are needed.
(Improvise, pick your favorite lines from some of your favorite background characters. Go all out with the voice you use.)
