Hello there and welcome to the Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires Role-Playing Series audition page for episode 1! This is essentially a project I have a big passion for and investment in and decided to get some help in making it be the best it can be! There will be multiple episodes in the series of course but for now I wanted to test the waters here on CCC! So, I’ll be needing voice actors, and this is going to be a project consisting of a type of visual audiobook, mixed with gameplay, mixed with voice acting/voice overs for characters, mixed with cutscenes for certain scenarios, and compiling it all together to make an entertaining viewer experience! The project is still a work in progress, but overall it may take a year or so to finish fully. So if you want to get involved in this one I hope you're dedicated and here to stay for the long haul! But don't worry, I'll be sure to compensate all who are accepted to the best of my ability out of my own pocket. As for now there are just auditions purely for Episode 1!
Please bear in mind that this is a project that will be worked on and ongoing for potentially a long time, a year or more. So please make sure that when you sign up for this role, that you’re possibly willing to stay in for the long haul. I will do my best in making sure it moves as fast as possible though.
These are the essential requirements needed before applying for voice actors:
A good quality microphone, with clear and understandable lines. No background noise, snapping, cracking, popping, etc.
A discord account to be invited to the private server for the communications of lines.If your audition is accepted, I will message you requesting the username to add you into the server.
Please for the love of all that is holy, just be civil and respectful towards each other in the server for the project. The last thing I want there to be for an entertaining project is to have drama and fallout between cast. This is meant to be an entertaining project, the only drama I’ll allow is the drama portrayed through your lines for the project.

Payment for all who are accepted for the project are required to have a paypal account in order for me to compensate you for your hard work.
Unfortunately due to personal and financial issues arising, I've decided to cancel the project. Perhaps it will resurface in the far future but for now it seems this was not the best time to do it given certain developments that came about in my own life. Wei Yan- The First follower of Dai Zian, and what a follower indeed. Essentially, I need someone to replicate his voice from either Dynasty Warriors 7 or dynasty warriors 8. An essential part of the story, and very important for Dai Zian’s plans. Powerful, strong, very blunt, and very much straight to the point with the few words he manages to utter with every sentence. Voice Actor
Yan Baihu- The Ruler of the first kingdom that Dai Zian resides within when starting out on his journey. Essentially, the baseline requirement for this voice is to sound around the range of a man in his mid 30's to 40 at the oldest. A bit of a villain and a slight obstacle for the main character. As a result I want him to sound somewhat formal, and cunning but authoritative. *Chinese accent optional*
“From here, I wish to take my first steps towards the unification of this land. Will you be my boon companion?”
“I am counting on you Yan Yu, don’t disappoint me.”
“Your bravery has gained quite a reputation throughout the land. I would like to enlist that strength of yours to help my plans of conquest, what is your answer?”

Yan Yu- The General of Yan Baihu, stalwart and dedicated to his lord. The baseline requirement for this voice is that of a man and sounding a bit brutish, and straight to the point. *Chinese accent optional*
“Understood! My strength will go where you need it!”
“Yes my lord, I will not fail you, and you have my word on that.”
"I... I have no choice but to fall back momentarily. Don't think you've won though!"

Xu Si- Dai Zian’s Strategist. The first strategist to ever follow Dai Zian, a man ranging from his mid 30’s at the earliest to late 40’s at the most. I want him to come off as formal, polite, but intelligent and well spoken and eccentric. *Chinese accent optional*

“We must bide our time, and patiently polish our ingenuity.”
“Lord Dai Zian, please just a moment! I believe it would be best if we deployed our troops to this location instead.”

Zhu Bao- A young man in his 20’s but surprisingly has a bit of experience in battle, and will perhaps be useful in Dai Zian’s plans. The baseline requirement for this voice is I’m essentially looking for a bit of a gruff voice and male. *Chinese accent optional.*

Yong Kai- Dai Zian’s officer/soldier. A young man in his 20’s who is a bit naive but not a fool and competent enough. Baseline requirement for this voice is that of a younger sounding individual but not childish, and that’s essentially it. Young, hot headed, in over his head at times, but a good young man nonetheless. *Chinese Accent Optional*

Animator
Now for another crucial part of the project, An animator will be needed for cutscenes ranging from something as short as 10 seconds to 2 minutes tops. Once again as for the role in this project, the project itself will last a while potentially up to a year. But, compensation will always be given where it's due of course. This is my first time ever hiring animators for a project but I will do my best in being as detailed as possible in explaining what I want from each scene. Bear in mind, there will be a lot of action in scenes at times, not always, but often. Originally, I was looking for simple 3D animated scenes, but 2D animation works as well. But as the cutscene animator, I'm looking for someone to do some scenes of the characters with backgrounds. Show me what you've worked for your submissions! Something with some action is preferred but not required.
1. Understand that I may need certain things, be it minor or larger, need to be redone if needed to fit with what I want to convey in the story with the scene.
2. Ability to work with voice lines and lip flap adjustments to the lines.
