To the fans of Dreamkeepers - here's an opportunity to be part of something special!







Based off the critically acclaimed Prelude series of Dreamkeepers (by Vivid Publishing) comes an interesting side project from Darkspeeds Studios.

The purpose? Well, it's two-fold. One is PREPARATION - to find (early on) three potential voice actors who will convince me that they will be the perfect fit to play as protagonists Mace, Vi and Bobby for an upcoming and much bigger project mid-way through the year. And two is SHOWCASING what I can currently offer to the Dreamkeepers series when it comes to the audio production of story favourites of mine that are worth re-telling.

Charming, brotherly and benevolent, Robert Frederick, often called Bobby by his friends, is an orphan who used to live at Grunn's Orphanage for a long time before leaving. It was recently revealed that like Viriathus, he joined Troika as a soldier.

  • *hint of guilt while speaking to the orphan kids* Still- I should have been there for you guys

  • *frustrated at a long day at the district social center* Look, can we just drop it? For tonight all I want is some- !!! *gets a surprise and heavy kick in the balls by Vi*

  • Mace, listen... If you're only helping to avoid feeling guilty- well, that's a kind of selfishness. You're focusing on what you want, and you'll get resentful when it doesn't work out.

Viriathus has a tomboy like demeanor and apparent disgust of fashion and femininity, she secretly frets over her physical appearance and clothes. She does care for her friends but isn't afraid to show them that she can punch back, yelling at the same time how girls are delicate & fragile.

  • Do I look like a Robert? I'm a girl. What the hell is this? ~ HEY! Get back here- I AM A GIRL YOU ASSHAT!

  • *kicks Bobby straight to his nutsacks - and hard* DICK! ~ NO! HE'S NOT OKAY! He's an irresponsible sleazebag, stupid, scum... Riding-!!

The consummate pessimist, Narps only desire in life is to have just a little quiet and orderliness. Living with both Mace and Grunn, its easy to see how he got into the pessimism racket. [Try to make him sound nasally? Kermit the Frog~ish!]

Gifted with enthusiasm rather than intellect, Gorse often finds himself at a loss when coping with difficult situations. His fictional pop culture heroes, in contrast, are far too awesome to ever be at a loss for anything.

Resilient to a fault, Maces irrepressible sense of justice leads him to mastermind endless retributive pranks and stratagems. Adventurous and full of intrigue, he's loyal to his friends and will do whatever he could to protect them from danger.

  • *in tears - sniffle* 'S~okay Bobby- I deserve it. At least I'm not making things worse, being trapped in here. I tried my best, and got bitten, an' burned. And I'm a killer- I never should have helped that stupid, stupid thing!

  • It's stupid... I just wish I coulda shown someone that rock I found. But I threw it away.
