Project Overview

Well Ladies & Gentlemen here is my first Casting Call for 2020 and the 2020s and it's for Video Comic Adaptations of my Dragon Ball comedic skits namely…

Anyways this project will be for Video Comic adaptations of my short Dragon Ball Z/Super skits that are generally comedic in nature. (Though they do occasionally have serious moments like in the 3rd segment for Dragon Ball FighterZ Deleted Scenes.) These skits are generally within the realm of good-natured parody but there will be a fairly good amount of deconstruction as well. Anyways here are the rules/guidelines…



  • The Deadline is 5/25/20, though I may extend the deadline if I don’t have enough auditions by then,


  • Impersonations are not an absolute necessity but if you can pull them off feel free to do so


  • Since these skits are generally comedic if you like you can add in an additional joke or two along with the lines but this is optional. (Though for certain minor roles such as Mr. Satan & King Kai it would help insure that you will be in the Blooper Reel for that particular skit.)


  • While these skits generally have a PG-13 level of Sexual Content & Humor only a few of the female roles (18, Bulma & Chi-chi) have any profanity.


  • While obviously I do want you all to follow deadlines if cast but I may ask you to reprise if I write anymore Dragon Ball related skits such as another Dragon Ball FighterZ Deleted Scenes for example.

  • Alright here is the update for this project.

    I admit I should've done this a great deal bit sooner but I was having some substantial internet trouble until my family's internet connection was repaired last thursday. And even then my lap-top was having netspeed issues until later on last night. But anyways I have lines from most of the cast, the only ones I am still waiting for lines on are the following... Goku (SBVO) Vegeta (dennis lookman) Marron (SpiritKitten) Master Roshi (arlen chitty) Everybody else I got (or at least trying to get) so one way or another I will be reaching the 4 of you soon.     Unlike last time I will be posting a cast list this time and I hope to have it up before the month is over. (Or if not then shortly after the beginning of next month.) First of all I do apologize over how there were plenty of auditions that I did not critique. I admit I was going to try to get caught up in the critiques last week but I had various sorts of computer/internet trouble last week among other things. But as I go over the auditions I will try to see if I can critique the ones I haven't already done so here in CCC. But rest assured the next time I do a CC here I will try to make sure this doesn't happen again.

  • Deadline is extended to 5/25/20

    I have extended the deadline to 5/25/20, while the audition turnout has been good as everyone has had at least more than one audition. But for certain roles like Fortuneteller Baba the quality of those auds have been a bit so-so at best. I won't cast anyone in this CC yet but if I have to extend the deadline again then I will cast some of the roles then. Also at this upcoming month I will make a better effort in trying to be more caught up in giving critiques for auditions. I admit I did get a bit caught up in Fire Emblem Warriors for the Switch (but I will most likely resolve that little issue in the near future). Anyways the deadline is now 5/25/20 so I hope to hear from you all soon.

Bio: One of Goku’s Best Friends since childhood and is the only character here that will appear in all 4 of these skits. While he is substantially less confident than Goku and has been the victim of his adversaries more than once but he means well and can pull through. Ever since late DBZ he has been Android 18’s husband and Marron’s daughter (though in half the skits he worries if the former is in jeopardy due to Trunks).

  • #1. (Trying to act tough) Yes Trunks this little girl here is 18's and my daughter I want to make sure we all knew that. You see Trunks a lot has changed since the last time you were here and a lot of us got a whole lot stronger since then such as Goku, your father and even me. Ah yes I have got a lot stronger since then Trunks so in other words I can take you down you little punk.

    2. (Shocked & Whiny) AH! Oh c'mon dear I'm trying to sound tough & menacing here!

  • #3. (Surprised & Confused)  Sample? Wait a minute... so Bulma, you and Vegeta never had sex?

    4. (Calm & casual to slightly sad to very nervous) Well all things considered I guess I can't blame him. Though... *sigh* Oh Goku, we all know that your wife wishes you would stop fighting so much while mine wishes I was a stronger fighter. *brief pause* Ulp... uhh... Goku, remember that "Goku Black" incident a while back when older Trunks' came back to see us? Uhh... are you sure that we won't be getting anymore visits like that? I mean not that I have anything against Trunks' grown up self, mind you but... 

  • #5. (Nervous to trying to act brave) Well I uh... I uh.... uh no time to talk now Goku, the Paradise Herb should be dead ahead! Let's go, last one there is a rotten egg!

    6. (Slightly anxious to incredibly terrified) Ah I can’t believe I’m late; I hope Goku didn’t start the announcement without me. Hmm… what the… [Then Krillin notices Chi-Chi’s Ki Aura intensifying in rage, and then he immediately hides near the doorway into the lobby by clinching to a nearby wall.] Nope! NopeNopeNopeNopeNopeNopeNOPE! Oh I gotta hide, where am I going to hide?!

Bio: The Main Protagonist of the whole Dragon Ball franchise (and has the 2nd highest amount of skit appearances in this project next to Krillin). While Goku is eager for battle (in which at DB Super he is often accused of being a bit too eager) but he is one of the strongest fighters around. But when Goku is not in battle he is normally a cheerful happy-go-lucky fellow with a rather childish mindset (for better or for worse). However while Goku is normally seen as well-meaning he has a fairly poor grasp of social skills around others to put it mildly. 

  • 1. (Slightly uncertain to Friendly & Cheerful) I don't see why I mean I think it’s nice that Chi-chi & Vegeta could get along so well as Piccolo keeps telling me how Chi-chi can be really cranky to him. Though not too long after we swapped back I told Yamcha about this a day later. While he didn't seem too happy about it at first until I told him about how Bulma got really mad at how Vegeta & Chi-chi were getting along so well and he thought it was hilarious. Ah it’s nice to see I can make an old friend like him laugh.

    2. (Excited & Eager) A race? That sounds awesome! Okay, let’s go Krillin!

  • 3. (Confused) Okay this really isn't like the older Trunks I know, if anything this one tries a little too hard to sound like his dad.

    4. (Casual but cheerful explanation) Well Piccolo lives with my family, when we’re not out fighting bad guys my wife and I normally use Piccolo to help do our chores around the farm. But I also use Piccolo to take care of Gohan while I’m away. Also while my wife Chi-chi doesn’t like Piccolo very much but she does like the fact that Piccolo doesn’t eat anything and he only drinks a little bit of water. And since Piccolo is a Namekian that is living with us we don’t pay him any money either, isn’t that great?

  • 5. (Blissfully oblivious) Hey Gohan want to feel up Piccolo’s crotch? It feels really nice and smooth.

    6. (Casually explaining his logic) Well you see Gohan, Vegeta has been one of my best pals in battle for years now. Vegeta has always been one of my closest allies and we often love to train together. Especially when we were in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber for a few days in which we lived together for 3 years. So I figured that this means that Vegeta is my 2nd wife.

Bio: Goku’s most prominent rival and former adversary who is well known for his angry and prideful nature. Vegeta is also known for being obsessed with becoming stronger than Goku but has been 2nd to Goku when it comes to power and fight track record in which he can be a bit insecure about that. Ever since the 2nd half of DBZ when he joins Goku’s side he becomes Bulma’s husband and Trunks’ father (but both of these facts do get deconstructed in these skits especially the former). 

  • 1. (Defensive & slightly whiny) Oh c'mon Bulma you know very well that I need to surpass Kakarot in order to be worthy enough to truly become the All Mighty Prince of Saiyans! The only reason why I stayed with you for so long is because your place has so many devices I can use for training.

    2. (Bitter & snide explanation) Yeah about that, back then she tried to get all friendly with me but I told her to go away since I was busy training. So one day she demanded that I provide her with some sample and she said I had to do it otherwise she wouldn't let me train anymore so I did. Then later on that year Trunks was born.

  • 3. (Angry & confrontational) WHAT?! Oh you want to have a go at this woman?! I got more dirt on you, hey guys want to know the real reason why Bulma insisted that the people don't know about us? It's because her company Capsule Corp is a big sponsor for that imbecile Mr. Satan!


    4. (Absolutely frustrated) Oh this is a nightmare, this is such a nightmare… Oh there is no Senzu Bean that can help me recover from this Migraine.

  • 5. (Calm & soothing to somewhat smug) There there Chi-Chi it’s alright I do understand what you’re feeling right now. *brief pause* Oh yes we are both getting viciously humiliated by this nightmarish fiasco. But say, Chi-Chi after seeing Bulma’s lack of maturity and Kakkarot’s lack of… well basic intelligence, has given me an epiphany. How about we switch spouses, at least for a little while so what do you say? After all, I'm the Prince of Saiyans.

    6. (Surprisingly sympathetic & kind) *sigh* Chi-Chi, please don’t blame yourself for this, that fool Kakarot clearly does not deserve someone like you. *brief pause* Yes but please do listen to me, you deserve a lot better than this. For far too long you’ve felt alone and neglected by that thoughtless imbecile Kakkarot, well no more! Chi-Chi you could be living a much better life for you & your family than what that idiot Kakkarot would do and he practically treats you like his maid where by all rights you are Queen of the Castle. And if that moron Kakkarot can’t treat you like an equal instead of his maid well then that would be his problem now would it?

Bio: This is the future adult self of Trunks who is the son of Vegeta and Bulma. Trunks is very much the opposite of his father as he is a kind & calm young man who has had problems with his father’s anger issues which have gone a bit better over time. While in these skits Trunks is pleasantly surprised (and a bit flustered) by how friendly the present Android 18 can be. But in his 2nd skit appearance he is depicted as a fear phantom so feel free to slightly lower your voice and make it a bit rougher.

  • #1. (Recalling a bad memory) I remember, my father and I were supposed to make sure Cell didn't absorb you by defeating him. And the sad part is that my father was winning when he was fighting Cell until Cell asked my father to let him absorb 18 to give him a better fight and then my father accepted that offer, then Cell was able to beat Vegeta easily. I tried to stop him but my father knocked me out and by the time I woke up it was too late.

    2. (Flustered to very nervous) Why eh yes 18... I... I suppose I would like to penetrate you with my long sword... (then he gets really red-faced again) eh... THE ONE THAT'S ON MY BACK! ON MY BACK!

  • #3. (Awkward & nervous but trying to stay composed) Oh... yes... of... of course, still so 18 this little girl is your daughter, right? *brief pause* She... isn't my daughter too right?

    4. (Amused & Cheerful) Say what a minute, your daughter's name is Marron right? I just remembered something, I remember back when I was here when Cell was around and Gohan was a kid that Gohan once told me that Krillin used to date a woman by the name of Maron. *brief pause* Yeah from what Gohan told me this lady looked a lot like my mom, little surprising that Krillin's daughter here would have the same name as the girl he used to date.

  • #5. (Surprised & slightly flustered to somber & uneasy) Ah man, Gohan is a mild-mannered scholar and family man while 18 is friendly to me... and I mean really friendly. For a moment I'm starting to wonder if I got into the right timeline. *sigh* Oh Mai is it wrong that I'm starting to wonder if maybe it's a good thing I wasn't able to bring you here?

    6. (Fear Trunks, Calm & Sinister Intro) Good evening, my sword is nice, long & sharp I hope it doesn't make you feel too... inadequate. But of course I would make you feel inadequate, I'm younger, faster, stronger and overall just far more powerful than you ever would be. Yet you are stupid enough to think you could ever be an Alpha Male but you are too weak, but at least I know how to satisfy. But don't worry I'm sure you could just drown your sorrows out with Yamcha later.

Bio: One of Goku’s old friends and one of his original adversaries turned allies is this man who was formerly known as the Desert Bandit. While he was originally a gynophobe who had a problem talking to girls he got over that fear and became a bit of a casanova. (Which got his relationship with Bulma rather on-and-off until Bulma dumped him for Vegeta.) However despite this Bulma & Yamcha can still be a bit close and hang out (and he might get some benefits with Bulma in his 2nd skit appearance.)

  • 1. (Calm Casual Greeting) Hey Goku, so why did you call us out here today?

  • 2. (Trying to reason with Bulma) Oh c’mon Bulma, don’t you think you're being a bit paranoid? I mean when we last saw them they were just having a little chat.

  • 3. (Surprised & slightly nervous) Wow… well, that escalated quickly…

Bio: One of Goku’s various Adversary-turned-Allies and is the Mentor & Father Figure to Gohan ever since Gohan’s childhood. While Piccolo can be quite stern and serious he does show a genuinely caring side mainly to Gohan over the years. Though Piccolo is easily one of the most serious characters in the franchise he can have a rather “straight man” dynamic with the others. 

  • 1. (Calm & Confident) Check my Power Level again; I’m sure it's way higher than your “lowly” power level.

    2. (Annoyed but trying to remain calm) I’m a Namekian you bald Neanderthal, we Namekians live out in Nature and don’t require currency and live under simple means. I could live anywhere else on Earth, I just didn’t want to.

  • 3. (Smug Taunting) So tell me Nappa what were you to Vegeta back then, his servant or his pet?

    4. (Gritting his Teeth, losing his patience) Yes Goku, what are you doing?

  • 5. (Desperate pleading tone) Gohan I just have one question for you, can I come live with you, please? *Brief Pause* Oh trust me Gohan I would not mind watching over your daughter in general. But yes I would be happy to look after your daughter Pan, anything to get out of that cesspit of sexual angst that is your old home.

    6. (Calm & Understanding) It’s okay Gohan, you and Goten have given me a sense of purpose in my life and how it's not just about fighting so I’m grateful for that Gohan, I really am.

Bio: Goku’s son who grows into a fighter and hero like his father who was at one point set to become the new protagonist for the franchise. (Until Akira Toriyama eventually decided not to since Goku has been the face of the franchise for so long.) While Gohan can be just as heroic as his father, Gohan is considerably smarter & wiser and more willing to settle down to be a family man. Gohan does care for his father even though at times he tries to be patient with his father’s naive nature here. But Gohan is very fond of Piccolo who has been his Mentor/Father Figure since his childhood.

  • 1. (Firm & straightforward) Hey there is nothing lowly about Piccolo.

    2. (Very nervous, trying to reason with Goku) Uh Father that is not exactly the best choice of words here.

  • 3. (Embarrassed but trying to stay calm) Eh yes Father, boys have Wee-wees that is… one way how to put it. Anyways that does not apply to Namekians since their bodies are rather different from humanoid races such as Saiyans & Earthlings. So in other words Namekians are not boys or girls.

    4. (Calm & Understanding) Well okay Father I suppose that is fair, after all there are many aspects of Piccolo such as his voice, mannerisms and overall appearance definitely seem masculine to people like us. But technically & biologically speaking Namekians have no gender. Do you understand now father?

  • 5. (Surprised) Mom? What are you doing here?

    6. (Very nervous but morbidly curious) Uh… Dad? Part of me is really scared to ask this but… why do you think Vegeta is your 2nd wife?

Bio: Vegeta’s former 2nd-in-command who was destroyed by Vegeta early in DBZ but was one of the revived adversaries in Dragon Ball FighterZ (In which this is far from the first time Nappa has ever been revived in a “Non-Canon” story.) While Nappa is an old Saiyan Soldier who practically raised Vegeta it seems that Vegeta cares very little for him as Nappa is a bit sore at Vegeta for how he met his demise back in early DBZ.

  • #1. (Annoyed & demanding) Okay Kakarot why do you keep this Namekian around? After all I know your boy is soft since he is half human, but what about you Kakkarot? Why do you keep that Namekian around?

    2. (Uncertain to understanding) So let me get this straight Kakarot, when you & the Namekian are not getting into fights you normally use the Namekian for Labor in which you barely pay him in any way at all. Oh I get it now Kakarot, the Namekian is your slave, well why didn’t you say so in the first place?

  • #3. (Smug taunting) Oh I dunno Namekian, when you guys aren’t fighting they keep you around for labor and they don’t really pay you so it sure sounds like slavery to me.

    4. (Offended & defensive) Nanny?! Who are you calling a Nanny woman? I’m a proud Saiyan Soldier here.

  • 5. (Shocked) What in the… the power level in Kakkarot’s woman has skyrocketed! What is going on here?!

    6. (Highly amused) AHAHAHAHAHA! Oh you know what Vegeta? Suddenly I’m not angry about that whole thing of you destroying me just because I got beaten by Kakkarot once before anymore. What can I say; I think you’re being punished enough.

Bio: Master Roshi is an Elderly Martial Artist who was once the Martial Arts Master of Goku, Krillin & Yamcha. While Master Roshi can be serious if the situation calls for it but he is normally a comedic role as he is one of the most infamous “Dirty Old Men” in anime history. Though Master Roshi was at one point wanting to retire from his status as a fighter but in DB Super he becomes more willing to train and fight again. 

  • 1. (Slightly Surprised & Confused) I got to agree with Goku seeing Older Trunks there like this is strange, hey Baba are you sure that Forest of Fear of yours isn't on the fritz?

  • 2. (Eager & Intrigued)  Indeed, this is getting spicy.

    3. (Nervous blatant lie) Uh nothing 18, nothing at all!

While Whis may normally appear to be aloof & snobbish he can be willing to be friendly & civil especially if you offer him delicious food from Earth in which he and Beerus become very fond of.

Bio: Mr. Satan is known as the “Martial Arts Champion of the World” but while he is quite capable as a normal human but pales in comparison to Goku & friends and has stolen credit from them more than once. (But to be fair he has helped in saving the world in the Buu Saga and has become one of Goku’s allies.) Mr. Satan has a massive ego and loves to play up his reputation for his fame (but tends to get nervous when an actual threat comes in). Though in this project he will only have 3 lines so if cast I would just use your audition.

Bio: Goku’s wise old master who taught him the Kai-oh-Ken technique and is well known for making goofy bad jokes (and tends to get offended when people don’t laugh). However King Kai can be serious as he is also a prominent source of information for Goku & friends. While this is a comedic story project here King Kai gets a mostly serious bit role in one of the skits. So in other words like Mr. Satan if I cast you in this role I would just use your audition.

Bio: While Android 18 is one of the various “former villain turned hero” allies and is Krillin’s wife and Marron’s Mother. In these skits 18 gets a rather bit friendly with Future Trunks in which later on she tries to deny fooling around with him as it becomes more & more apparent that this is making Krillin insecure.

  • 1. (Calm & Kind) Why yes Trunks, in fact I would like to thank you, despite all the horrible things that my and 17's future counterparts did you did try to save me from Cell then. I must say you are quite the hero.

    2. (Playful & seductive) True but I suppose a little retribution is in order. But don't worry I'll let you take the first shot. Say why don't you take that big long sword of yours and use it on me, in fact try to shove it down my throat. *pause* Oh yes or if you like you can penetrate me, penetrate me real good.

  • 3. (Firm & slightly annoyed) Come on now Krillin you know very well that even though you get to fight more often I'm easily the more powerful one. The only reason why I stay on the sidelines is to keep Maron safe.

    4. (Very nervous) Marron, sweetie, these nice old folks don't need to know what Mommy was doing with Older Trunks that night!

Bio: One of Goku’s oldest friends and his original ally and travelling partner in his journey. Bulma is a super smart scientist who comes from a very wealthy family of scientists. While Bulma can be rather impulsive and temperamental and can be a bit vain about her looks as she can be quite willing to use her feminine wiles. But Bulma is easily one of the smartest characters in the franchise and even though she doesn’t fight she has been one of Goku’s most prominent female allies. Bulma did initially have a long-going but rather on-and-off relationship with Yamcha before she dumped him midway through DBZ and became Vegeta’s wife and Trunk’s son. (Though the former gets considerably rocky in both of her skit appearances.) But despite this Bulma can still be willing to hang out and be close to Yamcha though. 

  • #1. (Shocked & Upset) AH! VEGETA! YOU WEREN'T SUPPOSED TO TELL ANYONE ABOUT THAT!

    2. (Bitter Sarcasm) Yeah well maybe if you didn't do stupid things like blow up a Martial Arts Tournament then maybe I wouldn't have to be so secretive!

  • #3. (Panicky) Oh I'm going to get so many lawsuits... so... so many lawsuits…

    4. (Highly Amused) Oh I dunno Vegeta, Goku does raise a few valid points here after all you do get really fixated on Goku. I mean we all know you’ve been obsessing about one day beating Goku in a fight which is why you train so much. So yeah Vegeta, I’m sure you would make a lovely wife to Goku.

  • #5. (Gritting teeth, rapidly losing patience) Goku, my… husband has just left the room with your wife. Aren’t you the least bit concerned about that?

    6. (Very eager for Anger Sex to Seductive) Alright Yamcha, you, me in my bedroom, now. *pause* Yep, you and I are going to do it for old time’s sake and we’re going to do it a lot.

Bio: Goku’s wife and the mother of Gohan & Goten. While Chi-chi can often have a rather loud & overbearing personality she does have a caring & maternal side particularly around her sons. However her relationship with Goku can be rather strained as she often feels a bit neglected in which these skits will play up as her relationship with Goku goes through a lot of deconstruction. (Particularly in the 3rd Segment of Dragon Ball FighterZ where she makes a surprising friendship with Vegeta and opens up to him on how neglected she feels.) 

  • 1. (Very bitter sarcasm, clapping her hands) Oh congratulations Piccolo, Goku has touched you more than he has touched me for nearly this past decade. I hope you feel really proud of yourself Piccolo, I truly do.

    2. (Demanding & Commanding tone) Hold it right there! Goku has been falling behind on his chores at the farm. I need him back home and work at harvesting our crops as soon as possible!

  • 3. (Shrewd & Manipulative) Oh I dunno Whis; I could always treat you & Beerus to a fine home-cooked meal while Goku does his chores. And when Goku finishes harvesting crops I can make an even bigger meal for you two.

    4. (Seething in Rage) So… Goku, who is your 2nd wife? Who is the whore you apparently have been hiding behind my back all this time? Hmm? 

  • 5. (Sympathetic but still curious) Oh my I have no idea you felt so underappreciated Vegeta… though I just realized something, Vegeta for years you’ve been training so hard to one day beat Goku in battle. Tell me why are you so fixated on being stronger than Goku so much? Is this because he has beaten you in battle before? What would you do if you’ve ever beaten Goku?

    6. (Happy & Hopeful) You know what? Your right Vegeta I do deserve a lot better than this, I can be doing so much more than just be Goku’s housewife at some poor little forest home that I had to turn into a farm just to make ends meet. I really can be doing so much more with my life and maybe it’s time that I should.

Bio: Master Roshi’s older elderly sister who relies on fortune-telling mysticism more than martial arts. While Baba can be rather cranky and less patient of Goku’s allies’ antics but can certainly be willing to be friendly & civil though. For example while she often bickers with her brother Roshi she is often willing to aid him when it comes to aiding Goku & friends. Such as during a mini-arc in Dragon Ball Super when she sets up a “Forest of Fear” to be a training exercise for Goku & Krillin at Roshi’s request. 

  • 1. (Annoyed & Defensive) Of course not, I'm sure there must be an explanation over what is going on here.

  • 2. (Bitter sarcasm at Roshi’s cowardice) And you wonder why I charge you so much Roshi.

  • 3. (Friendly & playfully teasing tone) Well Miss 18 you do seem a bit flustered about this but I suppose I won't blame you. You do seem to want a good strong young man to be your family man and that Trunks would be a fine young man in just about every way. Bio: A few of the folks on Earth who responded to Vegeta’s attempts to demand them to raise their hands but their responses weren’t exactly favorable. You can basically use any voice for these lines though I will recommend that you use different voices for each line as I will be casting a different VA for all 3 lines here. So in other words if cast I will just use your auditions.
