Dragon Ball Z: History of Trunks Fandub [Omega Productions]

Project Overview

This project aims to dub the History of Trunks AKA Defiance in the Face of Despair!! The Remaining Super-Warriors: Gohan and Trunks! with something that's more faithful to the original Japanese script. This project is technically OmegaRockman's project as the mixing has already been done, which can be seen above. Gohan and certain characters have already been recorded. All it takes is just casting the rest and finishing it off. So, I'm helping him with that. But, he needs your help too! Though, like with my projects, there is a bit of culture shock involved as we are using localizations from the original Japanese script. Though, unlike my projects, he will have you record separate versions of pronunciations with the FUNimation localization for those that prefer that. 

Dr. Gero -> "Geh-row"  & "Jih-row"

Androids -> Artificial Humans and Androids

Master Roshi -> Muten Roshi (Moo-ten Row-shee)

Cliff Notes

+ We are flexible with deadlines, but don't just disappear without us knowing.

+ Please follow the pronunciation guide, because it IS different.

+ Decent to Good mic that can handle loud, energetic acting. Peaking is inevitable, but we don't want it to happen TOO much. But, that's all I'm going to pick on in sound quality.

+ Leave takes to about 2

+ We reserve the right to scout.

WARNING: Because she is one of the main characters, she does have a good number of lines.

Bulma is a scientist and the daughter of the Capsule Corporation's founder. She is now the mother of Trunks, the late Vegeta being the father. She and Goku had many adventures in her youth. But, ever since the Androids attacked and becoming a mother, she has become less egotistical and more empathetic. She supports her son however she can, but she doesn't really approve of him trying to fight the Androids. In the film, she tries to build a time machine to send Trunks to the past to stop this apocolyptic future from happening.

  • [After hearing the news from the radio, frustrated about the situation]

    Those damn Artificial Humans... First they kill their creator, Dr. Gero, and then they go after innocent people... It's sickening. There's no way they can get away with this. They're simply monsters who get their kicks from murder. I just wish something could be done...

  • [reacts to Trunks, then gets worried as soon as she realizes that he's going after the Androids]

    Trunks, what's wrong? What are you thinking? Don't tell me... You're not going to...

  • [to Gohan, recalling fonder memories, then eventually transforms to worry]

    Wow. You're exactly like him, aren't you? Wearing that dougi, eating like a barbarian... You have no clue how much you resemble your dad, Gohan. It's amazing. I have heard things about you from time to time. Things like you facing off against the Artificial Humans all by yourself. Sound's pretty cool to me. But now Trunks is hearing those things. So tell me: what am I supposed to do about him running off and imitating you?

Chi Chi is the widow of the late Son Goku. After his death, she is now in a more depressive state, worried about their son, Gohan,'s well-being.

As with all people with microphones in Dragon Ball, this reporter is on the scene of the Android's attacking a city, reporting what he's seen.

  • The nightmare does not cease as the Artificial Humans make their move on Peppertown, once again reminding us of the apocalyptic times in which we currently live! Now that the defense force has fallen at the hands of these monsters, there are none left in the world who can challenge their might!

  •  It's chaos as the Artificial Humans continue their merciless, indescriminate attack! It won't be long before Peppertown is reduced to ruins!
