Project Overview

ABOUT:

This is going to be a Dr. Stone Fandub based on the manga, so everything that you have read in the manga or watched in the anime will relatively be the same. I'm going to upload the first chapter on my YouTube channel if i do get some good submissions. then if it takes off, ill make even more and hopefully make this a paying gig for you all. I'm excited to meet you all and hopefully we can move forward with this project!

Requirements:

  1. 1. If you can help it, please use an XLR microphone of any kind. However, auditions with USB mics wont be dismissed.
  2. 2. Send Auditions in MP3 Format.
  3. 3. 3 Takes per line for each character.

If casted, Ill ask you to join a discord and rehearse through the chapter with me every Friday and Saturday, and we can help you develop a better voice and at the same time record for the manga,  Contact my Twitter if you have any questions! Have fun and make sure to try your best.

    After several months of waiting, Chapter one of this MangaDub is here! All that time didn't just go to chapter one of course, but I've managed to complete 3 whole chapters within that time and i'm excited to share that work with you!   • Beautiful Performance

    Well, would you look at that! The Deadline has passed and now I've gotten so many auditions! There were some tough calls to make, but I believe I've boiled down the best voice for the right characters in this one. However, there is opportunity for another try, because there are so many characters! (and I have a pretty good feeling a certain someone out there would be the perfect fit for some...) After the first few chapters i'll be making another casting call with new characters, but for now lets roll out the first couple of chapters! Get excited!

  • Deadline was pushed back to December 12th.

    I didn't expect people to be auditioning for my project as much as they did. and I did listen to good voices, however, I think a few more weeks will suffice and help me make a good decision for the characters. Picking a voice is tough, so I want to make sure i get as many auditions in as possible and pick the best possible voice I think is right for the characters. Senku is a smart young man whom is determined to become the person to resurrect the world that has fallen in stone. his personality may seem stoic, but he cares deeply for his friends. He may come off as a rude person, but he always thinks logically and sees his plans to the end. he is capable of creating things that involve scientific schematics, and can remember any equation. Senku's dream is to travel to space, but with the world turning to stone, he hopes to rebuild society as it was to be able to one day do so. 


What i'm looking for: A smooth sounding, Yet Maniacal voice.  Mid-High Range 

  • (Heinous) This will send your pheromone production into overdrive. Basically its a love potion.  your success is ten billion percent assured if you drink this!

  • (Determined) A man determined to confess his love to Yazuriha who got interrupted halfway wouldn't let a few measly millennia stand in his way. You're made of stronger stuff than that!

  • (Inspiring) Ad lib, then finish off with: Get Excited!

Taiju is a very outgoing, unintelligent young man. he attended high school with Senku and Yazuriha. Taiju's love interest in Yazuriha, and through trying to tell her how he felt the world started turning to stone, it comes to turn out Taiju was one of the first humans to escape the stone capsules that incapsulated them through the help of Senku. Taiju, though considered the heavy lifter, is a pacifist and tries to negotiate with talk. being aware of his intelligence (or lack there-of) he tries to be as helpful as he can by fetching any ingredients, or do any heavy lifting if needed by Senku, he is a very kind man


What i'm looking for: Enthusiastic teenage jock voice. Mid Voice

  • (Frightened) Ugh! Wake up , ME! If i get careless for even a second, i'll fade away.

  • (Excited) I might not be good at creative thinking, but ill make up for it with spirit and effort! 

  • (Sad) Okay! Now i can finally say it... Listen Yazuriha.. What i was trying to say on that day long ago is... What i'm trying to say is.. I've loved you.. for hundreds.. and thousands of years.

Yazuriha is Taiju's love interest. In the Manga and anime her character isnt fully fleshed out but it shows her to be a caring , soft spoken young woman. She appreciates the passion Senku has for science, and will sacrifice herself for humanity if the opportunity presents itself. In terms of her love interest, its seems like she also takes a liking in Taiju as well

  • (Concerned) You wanted to talk, right? So what is it Taiju?

  • (Silly) Because, well, Heres another one! Another dummy who Doesn't stop to think!

Tsukasa is the series main antagonist. He is the first character who poses a threat to Senku and his plans with rebuilding society back to what it was. his belief is that the world was tarnished by rulers and old people who began to go to war and began stripping the world from freedom and believes that young people should be revived to create a new type of civilization not ruled under the old. He is known as the strongest primate and is considered the strongest character is the series so far. Don't mess with Tsukasa...


What i'm looking for: Another smooth and calm voice that has some edge, but when taken into a serious state, will sound intimidating.  Mid-low voice

  • (Concerned, and reassuring) I'm ready for a full explanation. Take it nice and slow... and I can make you one promise, you two will never be in danger again.

  • (Calm) Yes... By making use of its remains, ill be giving back to the circle of life. That's all it is.

  • (Averse) Let's revive just the innocent young people. We'll live together with nature. It's an opportunity to cleanse humanity! Don't you think so Senku?
