Project Overview
Welcome to the Hope’s Peak Academy Nature Resort! A camp where students can enjoy the vast outdoors and bond like never before! We have all sorts of activities such as kayaking, canoeing, hiking, biking, and everyone’s favorite, an enormous campfire! We are the select designation for all school camps and activities! We feature 12 renovated cabins, each with air conditioning. And in the main cabin, a nurse’s office & dining hall! Fit for all your school’s needs!
Buckle your seatbelts, for this class field trip is about to end in murder. 18 high school students forced to get their hands bloody in the gruff of the deep woods with no possible contact to the outside world. A classic fight between hope & despair, who will give in and commit a viscous crime and who will stay strong and make it out alive? Find out in the 44th season of the danganronpa project, Danganronpa : Into the Woods!
What you need to know
- Half the cast for this project has already been cast. I am at a lack of auditions to work with without double casting.
- This project will take place on Instagram, the user is @danganseason42
- If you are cast, you will be voicing over both comic pages and any animated content. Please keep that in mind.
- You must have a discord. All updates will be posted there!

Meet Natalya Nikolaev, The SHSL Stained Glass Artisan. Natalya is the older of the Nikolaev twins. She’s very protective over her younger brother, and would walk to the end of the Earth for him. She got her many burns from an accident both the twins refuse to speak of, as it was a very horrific day for them both.
She has plenty of attitude to go around, as she is very snarky and loves to give sass. She does her best to show that she is the queen bee. However, she doesn’t seem to do well under pressure, she becomes rather panicked & nervous. I wonder why?
“Hi, I’m Natalya Nikolaev, the Ultimate Stained Glass Artisan. Nice to meet you, I guess.” (Irritated)
“I guess one of my favorite things to do with my brother is to sketch ideas and gossip about guys. We tend to argue about who will get a guy first...” (Normal)
“You’re kidding. No well in hell is this real! I bet we are all part of this huge experiment and the creeps behind this will reveal themselves momentarily.” (With attitude. She’s pretty sassy)
Daichi Akiyama is the SHSL Casanova, skilled at sweeping women off their feet and into the bedroom. It’s only in his nature to be perverted and flirty. He sees himself dominant over women, like he could successfully seduce them in seconds. I wouldn’t blame him.
He never seems to be useful unless he is given something in return, it’s like he requires payment...
“Why hello there. Aren’t you fine looking? Diachi Akiyama, at your service~” (Smooth, Flirty)

The SHSL Laido Master herself, Chizu Midori! A rather spontaneous & fun loving girl, she’s always one to step in and help, even if she’s not very good at it. Chizu is never one to decline a challenge, as she is very competitive and loves to win.
Midori, however, despises dishonesty. She’s simply sees it as a form of trickery and cheating.

“Awww, cheer up now! One defeat means nothing! Well, unless your in the big leagues of course...” (Reassuring)
“Hey!! You better not be lying to me! That’s a dirty way to play!!” (Suspicious & Loud)
Haruto Reo, everyone’s dad, the SHSL Chiropractor. He’s a rather mellow guy, Reo is calm and mature, He’s not one to overreact. Or...react at all for that matter.
The hearty father of the group, Haruto does his best to take care of the others.
“Hello, I’m Haruto Reo, the Ultimate Chiropractor. I’m here if you need me!” (Calm, mature)
“Come on now, don’t give up. We can figure this out together, trust me.” (Kind)
“Gosh, today has been crazy. I ought to hit the hay, and I suggest you all do the same. A good amount of rest does wonders!”
Charlotte Coleman, The SHSL Inn-Keeper is a very warm and inviting young lady. She’s not one to refuse helping out in anyway that she can, after all, she does run her family’s Inn.
Charlotte believes in good hospitality, and will give nothing below perfect. She’s basically a perfectionist.
“Greetings! I wish to assist you in anyway I can. Oh? I suppose your right, it’s just I’m so used to being on the job! I’m the Ultimate Inn-Keeper, Charlotte Coleman. Pleased to make your aquintance!” (Warmly)
“W-what?! I’m hardly fit fit to be a mother! I don’t have the skill set!” (Panicked)
“It is truly sick what the mastermind did to us. I do hope we can all make it out alive...” (Worried)
Nathanial Davis is the dumb but lovable SHSL Dog Sled Racer. He’s rather laid-back, but a fun loving person nonetheless. He enjoys the outdoors due to being raised practically in the wild. He’s probably the world’s biggest dog enthusiast as he raised and took care of his entire sled team!
Nathanial is tends to take things way to close to heart, as well as being way to trusting...

Yu Yan Chao, the SHSL Kung-Foo Master seems to be rather angry all the time. Or maybe it's just her face. However, don't be fooled by her cat-like appearance. She is rather calm and makes sure to do all things with caution and respect. Yu doesn't like to fight when it's not necessary, she sees it as immature and childish. She's rather quiet, not usually one to speak up.
Please try to avoid any high pitched voices. I simply do not see them fitting for this character. Your welcome to try a Chinese accent, but an American accent will do just fine as well.

Meet Kaito Adachi, our very own SHSL Pychiatrist. Kaito really hates it when people confuse psychiatrists with psychologists, from his point of view, there’s a big difference. He’s rather upbeat and positive, unless he’s listening to someone talk outside of his profession. He gets enough of it already. He’d rather just be grateful for the things he already has, his job has done a good job of giving that point of view. However, he often gives advice anyway, it’s his nature.
He’s not really one to break the rules, as much as he wants to deny it and claim otherwise. Kaito makes sure to make it obvious that he is not ‘perfect’. He just wants to be like everyone else!

Bridget James, The SHSL Carpenter is a spunky American transfer. She’s all about fun and loves to socialize. She’s not one to care about looks, as she’s rather laid-back and carefree. Bridget is very passionate about her talent, and takes a whittling knife with her everywhere, just in case she gets bored as she claims. James also loves to take on and conquer big projects, such as building maybe a table set or dresser. She’s a very hardworking and dedicated young lady, that’s for certain.
Bridget also has a hearty appetite. She’ll eat anything, as long as it’s good. Other than lasagna. That’s gross.

“Attention to detail is crucial in my field! One wrong move and BOOM! You could ruin the whole thing! Well, for the most part...”(Informational?)
“Really? You’d do that for me? Oh man, thank you! It means a lot!” (Grateful)
The SHSL Maitre’D, Jun Toma hails from the very wealthy Toma family. He works in his family’s high class restaurant, which lead to his title. Jun is a rather friendly yet sophisticated young man. He enjoys high class activities, but isn’t one to turn down the poor. He simply wants to help them, what a good man. However, being raised in such household does mean he’s picked a slight ego, although it doesn’t show through as often. He enjoys meeting new people, seeing new faces to interact with. He gets awfully lonely being an only child.
Jun has a secret passion for culture. He simply loves to learn about other countries and their native peoples. I’m fact, if it weren’t for his family, he’d pursue anthropology.

(Mumbling) “God, that looks like Kosuke when he snapped his back. Lots of blood, how disgusting...(Surprised, shocked) O-Oh! I must’ve been talking aloud, how foolish of me. My sincerest apologies, dearest friend!”
“Well, I mustn't lie, I do have a very wealthy bloodline. I don’t blame us, after all. Nonetheless, I wish nothing to be like the rest of them, snobby rich fellows. It just isn’t for me!” (Slightly bragging, then fairly normal)
Dai Kagome, a talented young lady with a knack for health. She claims the title SHSL Cardiovascular Scientist. She’s very intelligent and loves to share facts about the human body. Dai also shows a huge concern for her fellow classmates, always offering to help them when they’re in need of medical help. Of course, they turn her down anyway. Nonetheless through all the neglect, she chooses to persist anyway, often earning dislike from her classmates. She doesn’t mean any harm, she only wants to help. Poor thing...
Dai is a very loyal companion. She’s never been one to abandon those in need, much less abandon her friends and family. Word goes around she’s never betrayed one’s trust...
