Project Overview
Kade lives his average life alone and undisturbed... until a cute alien girl crashes into his backyard! By opening up his home, will the otherworldly girl inadvertently open up his heart?

Hello, everyone! My name is Lea and I will be directing a fandub of the Webtoon "Down To Earth!"
Down to Earth is written by Pookie Senpai on Webtoon, and is currently standing at 21 episodes. It follows the story of Zaida, an alien from the distant planet of Zodia, and Kade, an introvert from the familiar world of Earth. When Zaida crash-lands in Kade's backyard in the middle of the night and asks him to teach her how to be an Earthling, it's more than just a little surprise. Before he even realizes, Kade has a cute alien girl hunkering down in his home, learning little things about what it means to be a human. Together, Kade and Zaida embark on a journey of self-discovery, openness, honesty, and, just maybe, love.
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:
Q: How much of the Webtoon will be dubbed?
A: According to Webtoon rules, we may only dub 40 episodes of Down To Earth before retiring the project.
Q: What are your requirements?
A: Please be at least 16 years of age OR demonstrate parental approval. Please have a Discord account. Please have a good quality microphone. Please get your lines in on time. Please acknowledge that this is NOT a paid project.
Q: When will casting be?
A: Casting will be in two weeks, on June 10th 2019. It will be extended if needed. You will be alerted via CCC, DMs, and Discord.
Q: Where will this be uploaded?
A: The Down to Earth fandub will be released on YouTube and Tumblr.

Zaida is a 20-Year-Old Alien from the planet of Zodia. She traveled to Earth to escape her old planet, and hopes to live here disguised as an Earthling. She's very sweet, cheerful, and curious, constantly yearning to discover more of the world around her. She has formed a close relationship with Kade, who has taken her into his home while she learns how to fit in with the people on Earth.
[Referring to a cat; Distressed] "Earthling! A beast has invaded your home! Does it wish to do a burgle? ... It's vibrating! Is it going to explode?!"
[Serious] "Yes, I have put trust on you. But if you continue acting this way, I will take it back."
[Angry] "Kade is such a Red Dwarf! Red Dwarf Red Dwarf Red Dwarf!"

Kade is a 24 year old Earthling who lives with his cat Cosmo and works at Spender's. He's an introvert to the max, even going so far as to get his groceries at two in the morning, and taking care of an alien girl isn't his idea of a great time. He's struggling to get over a relationship that hit him hard, which is why his budding feelings for Zaida aren't the most convenient right now...
[Thinking to Self] "Oh no, she's wearing tapers like jewelry... don't say anything! You'll only look like a jerk!"
[Distressed} "W-What?! No! Please put that down, it's my precious child..."
[Crying] "S-Sorry, I need a minute... NO! Why would I be crying, dumbass?!"

Stace is the talkative, sociable manager at the Spender's Kade works at. He's a lighthearted guy who's bad with names and is eager to get to know Kade... sometimes to a fault.
[In Shock] "Y-You... you... you actually took my advice! You smiled at a customer! You ever promoted our coupons! Who are you and what have you done with Kyle?!"
[Cheerfully] "Giiirl, no worries. That would look so cute on you! I can check in the back for ya. This guy won't mind cleaning up the mess, right man?"
[Conniving] "It's quite simple, really. The more I converse with you, the more I learn of you. And with that, I can help you overcome these anti-social behaviors, turning you into the perfect employee!"
