Dot Hack Roots Abridged - Episode 3
Project Overview
.hack//Roots Abridged is fan-based parody. This comedy/drama is set in the year 2017 within the massive MMO called "The World". The plot focuses on Haseo, a newbie Adept Rogue in The World R:2. On his first day playing the game, he is PKed, but gets rescued by the mysterious Ovan, who tells him that he's special, and that he needs to become stronger. The beginning of the series focuses on Ovan's interaction with Haseo, as well as the rivalry between the members of Ovan's guild Twilight Brigade, and the huge guild TaN run by the player Naobi. It later follows Haseo's hunt for the elusive PK "Tri-Edge" and shows what happened to Haseo in the eight months prior to his appearance in .hack//G.U. Rebirth.
There are a few things that I must request as you submit your lines:
--Have clear audio. No background noise or static. The better the quality the better!
--All lines should be submitted with your Discord information (So that I can contact you if chosen). Lines also should be done in ABC format (First line, then second, then third, repeat).
--MP3 or Wav format preferred with the file named something like Discord Name_Character Name.
--Be reliable and able to submit lines within a reasonable time. I will work with you should there be a delay in receiving the lines.
--Have fun with it! This series can be both silly and tear jerking at times so don't be afraid to give it your all! You can do this! I believe in you!
More characters will be available as we continue the series so if you didn't get chosen, don't worry! There will be other opportunities!
Voice Actor
Sora (楚良, Sora) is a powerful Twin Blade character. A Player Killer, he is an outlaw, hated by many others players who lack the skill to defend themselves against him.
Personality
As a player killer, Sora enjoys hunting players down and demanding their Member Addresses in exchange for their lives. Bear makes a joke about him hunting down attractive female PCs after he hunts down BT. He often makes comments about "being friends", but his true intentions are not well understood.

Voice Actor
Morganna is an omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent figure in the .hack series. She is the underlying system of The World itself. Harald based her personality on that of a mother, but once she rebelled she began to restyle herself as the Cursed Wave from the Epitaph of the Twilight. As a computer program, she never truly disobeyed Harald, but merely succumbed to a paradox. Morganna's purpose of existence was to bring forth the birth of Aura. However, once this task was completed, Morganna would no longer have a purpose to fulfill. Unable to comprehend what she was supposed to do after that, Morganna began to stall Aura's birth.
Throughout most of the process, however, she continued to rationalize her actions in terms of her original program, never truly betraying it, in fact following it coolly and logically to the letter. Only after a large portion of her original programming was destroyed and the paradox became eminent did she begin to attempt to destroy Aura outright. All of .hack that currently exists takes place after Morganna's initial realization.
