Dormia: The Rise of Sangem - PILOT ANIMATIC

The current leader of the Sangem Cult and the main antagonist of season one, he lords over his people with an iron fist. His power is unmatched by any of his subordinates thanks to his own special connection to the Lord of Betrayal. He seeks to claim the Sword of Sangem for his master as its power would make his armies unstoppable.

Katarina is a lieutenant in the Sangem Cult’s mercenary group, ‘Bad Company’ designed specifically to take down Team Snowbreakers and their threat to their operations. She’s skilled in duel wield fighting and has an intriguing past with Gal Pharaoh in which she garners her hatred towards, along with a determined hatred for Touka. Her personality is rather passive aggressive with no sense of patience, but deep down she desires to prove herself to her dark lord and will do anything to achieve that.

The brazen helmsman of the Snowbreakers ship. While not a complete member of the crew, he is the only person other than Touka allowed to navigate the ship. Though a relatively minor character, he plays an important role in the Snowbreakers journey and acts as a friend, blunt and rude, but a friend nonetheless.

Isa was a beautiful and caring Elvish woman. She loved her family more than words could explain, including her husband, who even though he was a douche, meant the world to her. While Isa had no known job, she was often home during the days and left during the evenings after dinner only to return to put her young children to bed every night. She was sweet, and Shark’s biggest supporter all of his life. She is dead and only seen in flashbacks.

The composers will write original music for show. They write music to reflect and communicate the atmosphere, character's emotions, and the story. A show score has to work with the show, rather than as a standalone piece of music. Composers will be given a brief and some music references for certain scenes at the start of the project by the showrunners. Some demo recordings can then be used in the animatic edit. They would then refine the soundtrack until post-production.

The overall genre of the soundtrack is electronic and medieval, with both styles often mixing, so preferably our musicians have experience in both.
