Doki Doki Literature Club! Musical
Project Overview
This is based on the game Doki Doki Literature Club! created by Dan Salvato, for which no one involved in this project takes credit for. It is a musical version of the game, complete with songs, voice acting, and in animatic form. If you have not played the game, or know the basic plot, then you obviously won't understand a single thing going on, so please play the game or read a basic plot summary beforehand. I also recommend young children do not take part, as there is extreme gore, psychological horror, and some very dark themes within the musical.

We've decided that we will make our final decision on the voice actors in 1-2 months. If we liked your audition, we will contact you before this, and possibly add you to our official Discord Server. The main character of the story. He's quite a bland, and boring character. His voice is that of a regular 16 year old male. He doesn't sing very often, and has no solo, so not much singing skill is required.
(Narrative.) ... of course, there's Sayori, my childhood friend. I used to walk to school with her, but she would keep waking up later, and I'd get tired of sitting around waiting for her.

(Slightly agitated.) I never clearly said I would join this club!
Monika, the leader of the literature club. Her voice is confident, clear, and fluid. She is very persuasive, and popular. She sings a lot, so good singing skill would be required.
(Confident.) Okay, everyone! Let's get ready for the festival!
(Teasing.) Ah, Natsuki, you really enjoy writing about cute things, right? There was this one time when you left a poem in the class, I think the title was something along the lines of--
(Cheery.) Hello, MC! Welcome to the literature club!
Sayori, a girl who appears to be a very cheery character, but actually has severe clinical depression, yet hides her pain just below the surface. She has two solos, and sings quite a bit, so good singing skill is required.
I finally caught up to you! Jeez, you shouldn't just leave without a single warning!
Monika, Monika, here's MC!
Hehe.. it's.. nothing, don't worry about it, I'm fine!
Yuri, the timid bookworm of the literature club. Unlike the other members, she is a third year. She has two solos, and a moderate part of the singing in the musical. Good singing skill is required.
(Passionate.) Oh, this book is very interesting. Do you mind if I tell you about it? Sorry if I'm a bit eager.
(Flustered.) Euhh.. i-it's fine, you don't need to help!
(Nostalgic, lost in her past.) When I was younger, I was ostracized, and picked on.
Natsuki, a classic tsundere. She heavily enjoys slice of life manga, and cute things. She has two solos, and has a moderate part of the singing in the musical. Good singing skill is required.
(Angry.) Hey! If you're going to judge us, then you better do it through the door!
(Grossed out.) Seriously?! Who in the world brought a boy here?
(Flustered and angry.) W-why are you th-thanking me! It's not like I..!
