Unfortunately, I don't have the time to continue voicing Yuri now that school has started, so auditions for Yuri are now open!
Doki Doki Literature Club! Fandub
Project Overview
I'm currently working on a fandub of the visual novel Doki Doki Literature Club! with a group of other people. However, due to a lack of time, I am going to have to stop voicing Yuri. Because of this, we are looking for a new VA for Yuri!
REQUIREMENTS
1) You do not have to have had played Doki Doki Literature Club!, but you must be somewhat familiar with the plot and characters. If you want to familiarize yourself with the game, it is free to download on Steam, and there are also several different playthroughs of the game you can watch on Youtube.
2) No background noise in your audition. Make sure your recording is of the highest sound quality possible, and that there are no mic pops/other background sounds.
3) You must have a Discord account. We will be using a server for communication and collaboration, so don't audition unless you have a Discord account.
4) Record the lines in multiple different ways, changing the inflection and emotion of the line in order to demonstrate your capabilities.
5) The fandub will be published as a series of episodes on my YouTube channel.
6) Updates on this project will also be posted on the Doki Doki Literature Club! Amino, but an Amino account is not required for participation in this project.

Yuri is a member of the Literature Club. She is shy, timid, and easily flustered. Yuri is also very mature and reserved. However, she is very passionate about the things she loves and has an obsessive personality. Her voice should reflect the different aspects of her personality. Yuri's voice can be high or low, but it needs to sound mature and match the current personality Yuri is displaying.
1. "Excuse me... I appreciate the offer, but I've spent a long time establishing my writing style. I don't expect it to change anytime soon, unless of course I come across something inspiring. Which I haven't yet. And Protagonist liked my poem too, you know."
2. "Ahahaha! Wow... There's really something wrong with me, isn't there? But you know what? I don't care anymore. I've never felt this good my whole life. Just being with you is a far greater pleasure than anything I could imagine. I'm addicted to you. It feels like I'm going to die if I'm not breathing the air the same air as you. Doesn't it feel nice to have someone care about you so much?"
3. "N-Never mind! Sayori made it sound like a big deal when it’s really not… Uuuuh, what do I do…”

Sayori is the protagonist's childhood friend and the Vice President of the Literature Club. She is bubbly and positive with an airheaded personality, although she secretly has depression. While she cares deeply about the happiness of her friends, having others worry about her own well-being upsets her. Her voice should sound energetic, enthusiastic, and perky.
1. (crying, upset, despairing) "Why am I feeling this way, Protagonist? I'm supposed to be happy for you. Why does it feel like my heart is splitting in half? It hurts so much..."
2. (slightly out of breath, perky) "Haaahhh... Haaahhh... I overslept again! But I caught you this time!"
3. (agitated, upset) "It's true, isn't it? I was weak and started to like you too much... I did this to myself. Protagonist... I like you so much that I want to die! That's how I feel!"

Natsuki is a member of the Literature Club, known for her tsundere nature. She is blunt, brash, confrontational, cranky, and seemingly arrogant. However, she has a soft and cute interior that she hides due to her own insecurity. Despite her impulsivity and harsh nature, Natsuki genuinely cares for her friends and does not like to hurt them. Her voice should be childish, self-assured, emotional, and girly.
1. "Jeez, don't make it feel so awkward already! It's gonna be a long afternoon, so don't be weird just because you're not used to seeing me outside of school. Anyway, I'm coming in."
2. "Cute? Did you completely miss the symbolism or something? It's clearly about the feeling of giving up. How can that be cute?"
3. "Uuuuuu...! Well, you know what?! I wasn't the one whose boobs magically grew a size bigger as soon as Protagonist started showing up!!"
