Doctor Who Fan Audio - "The Festival of Change"
Project Overview
A Doctor Who fan audio drama, featuring an original incarnation of the Doctor (and her granddaughter, now regenerated into her grandson, Sue), as well as a homo aqua incarnation of the Master! The script is 50 pages long, and will hopefully launch a new series of audios. It follows the Doctor and Sue as they arrive in a small homo aqua village at the bottom of the sea, just in time to observe a once-per-century natural wonder. But a shrunken body signals you-know-who is here too.

This project is friendly to trans and nonbinary performers! This series will feature a transfem Doctor in the lead, and most of the characters are flexible, if you'd like to try playing against the listed gender for a particular character.

A male incarnation of the Doctor's granddaughter, Susan Foreman. Having regenerated twice now, Sue is back travelling with the Doctor. He's raised a child on Earth and travelled the universe as a diplomat for Gallifrey during the Time War, so Sue is much more confident travelling alongside the Doctor than when he was a child.
Different interpretations welcome! Any age, cis or trans. Note that this is a major role in a planned series, so only audition if you're interested in playing the role across multiple stories.

It's incredible! I've honestly never seen anything like it. And I have seen a lot, you know. Maybe not as much as you, but I saw my fair share of impossible things back when I was a diplomat for Gallifrey. But never a lifeform quite like this. Are they intelligent?

My Gran and I, we travel the universe in a spaceship! It's bigger on the inside, and it's our home. I named it the Tardis, that stands for Time and Relative Dimension in Space.
The Master, the Doctor's arch nemesis, has regenerated into a homo aqua body! The Master spends part of the story in disguise as a DJ. For this persona, a Californian or European accent would be appropriate.

Lorka is a homo aqua woman, a somewhat authoritative figure in her small village. She is rather uptight, the kind of person to not catch a joke. Thruelt is a homo aqua young man. Riddled with social anxiety, a night hiding in the bathroom away from the loud noises of the party is turned upside down when he meets The Master. (babbling slightly) Well, you see, I- struggle a little with large crowds. Well, more than a little, they terrify me, actually. And nobody really knows me here. I just wanted to see the Thramoshe, I expected the observance would be more- scientific, and I thought whatever ritual side there was to it would be- I do not know, solemn? Contemplative? I was told there would be poetry! But all this music and dancing and shouting, it is quite a lot.
I did not *want* to do it! I did not even know her! I- I did not want to hurt anyone. I swear!
(talking to himself) Right. Finally some peace and quiet. We can just sit here, and be alone. And quietly recite the release dates and tracklists of every Common Men album. Assuming the world doesn't come to an end, nobody would blame us. This is exactly what we wanted. Then again... They did leave the door open.

I was not here for every single installation. I saw them building some of the food stands- but not the seaweed one, I was in a council meeting while they put that up. Darrus is running that, you can talk to him if you like.
Most of the musicians are locals, and brought their instruments from home. The MC however joined us a few weeks back. From another village.
Travelling musicians are not unusual. Although I rather regret allowing his inclusion, that machine music of his is frankly starting to do my head in.
