The Doctor Who Audio Dramas has been making these productions for over FORTY YEARS. We have thousands of downloads a month. If you want to be heard, this is where to do it.

This role is for four stories of varying length. You can visit our site at www.dwad.net to see what the show is like and how long or short some of the stories are.
You will be committing for four stories. Generally speaking, we do three stories a year, so this role will take about two years. You will receive a script, have a few weeks to record your lines, and then there will be a long time before you hear anything again.
Payment is $20 per story. Yes, I know, not much. The BBC doesn't like us paying for these roles. Years ago, when the cast used to get together, we used to buy everyone dinner. So this is kind of an extension of that.
The amount of hours listed for this role is an estimate and depends on the skill of the actor. It is an imprecise way to determine the size of the role. I personally can do a 120 page script in two hours. Someone else would take five hours. So it is hard to say how much time will be involved.

CHARACTER BIO
A British woman of (redacted - spoiler) descent. Her great grandparents emmigrated in 1975 as refugees after the war. Like many other immigrants, they found themselves in the London borough of Lewisham, where they were able to find work as caterers and eventually open their own restaurant. Their son (Samantha's grandfather) married within the community and continued the family business with his wife. Their success afforded a good education for their children; one daughter became a successful architect and married a landscape designer: these are Samantha's parents.
Samantha was born in 2025, the eldest of three children. Family has always been centrally important to her life, although she never had one of her own. She tends to be socially awkward with people, but at ease with many animals. She considered studying veterinary sciences before deciding on a career in civil engineering. At home, she enjoys the company of her cats and many artistic hobbies such as painting, cooking, and sewing.
In 2060 she was chosen to be among the first mission from Earth to begin colonization of Edevane’s World – a newly settled planet. Leaving her cats in the care of family members, she embarked on the 12-year journey with anxious anticipation of what her future will be.
