Digimon Frontier: The Abridged Series
Project Overview
Digimon Frontier Abridged is my upcoming parody series. I am looking for people to voice these characters and join my team. I can promise lots of fun in these roles although I will also direct you meticulously. Keep in mind the audition lines are just approximations for the characters so feel free to improvise and do what works for you. I have already put a lot of work and planning (like I've been working on it for months) into this series so I will hold you to a high standard. As well as voicing characters I would also like to encourage people to get involved in the writing process. If you do get cast in a role I will also likely ask you to voice additional smaller parts.
If you do not get cast I may still ask you to voice some smaller parts, so don't get disappointed if you don't make it.
In addition to voicing the character well, I will require that you have serviceable sound quality without overpowering background noise.

Naturally Heroic and Brave. Very hot headed. Rides his victories with a careless smile. Never shows fear and frankly can’t maturely deal with his emotions. At his best he's heroic and at his worst he's arrogant.

"*Angry and arrogant* Koji, don't be a coward!"

Koji is an awkward person, who never developed proper social skills. He puts up walls with others not ever considering the concept of making friends. Because he doesn’t want to let them in he insults them. Despite his awkwardness he is rather quick witted either with a quip or an insult.

"*angry and sarcastic* Hey, Takuya do you get pleasure from pissing me off or is that an unfortunate side effect?"

Jp is overly confident to his dismay. He doesn’t have a filter and tries hard to seem cool. He won’t admit it but he thinks Takuya’s heroism is really cool. He hits on Zoe because she’s the only girl around but is rather respectful of her when he wants to be. He latches on to Tommy because of how impressionable he is.

*annoyed and writhing in self pity* pfft those Jerks think their so great... but they're not.
"*matter of fact, trying to act wise* Come on little Tom-tom let ol' J.P. show you how its done"

Zoe was very introverted and couldn’t seem to escape that cage. But when she came to the digital world she decided to reinvent herself (rather awkwardly at first) and be the outgoing feisty person she’s always wanted to be. She is quite sassy and confident in herself sometimes to her own dismay. Despite her much sass she has a big heart and will always fight to protect others. She grew up some of her life in italy and often slips italian phrases into her dialogue. Zoe is the only female on the main team and feels a sense of feminine responsibility as if its her job to represent her gender in a male dominated world.

"*sarcastically to sound sincere* Oh Takuya you sweet, lovable little moron."

Innocent. Younger than the others he is initially dependant on others, but quickly gains independence and learns to fight for himself. Despite his growth He almost always maintains his innocent eye. He is very trusting and impressionable placing those he admires on a pedestal. He is JP’s lil’ bro.
Because he is a young child he could be voiced by a male or female.

Bokomon is a sort of group mom to the kids. He imbues his wisdom onto them while also constantly getting fed up with how annoying they can be. He is highly knowledgeable and is very close to Neemon. It is recommended to listen to the dub voice for this character.
"*annoyed and fed up* Everybody hush up I'm trying to think!"
"*annoyed* Neemon you're stupidity has no limits..."
"*annoyed* Neemon you're stupidity has no limits..."
Bokomons dimwitted sidekick. Neemon serves as comic relief because of how dumb he is. He is close to Bokomon as the two are sort of an Odd couple.
With this character in particular I would recommend improvising.
"*amazed* Wow look! It's a human!?"
"*Blissfully ignorant* Do you like my pants?"
"Bokomon, What does the book say!"
Extremely regal and very proper. Ophanimon is royalty of sort and is highly respected and respectful. however this does come with a hint of being smug and egotistical. speaks almost like an automated voice in the beginning.
"Children it's up to you, now."
"Koji, the answers you seek will come in time."
"stand back children... I shall defeat Cherubimon myself."
Cerberumon is a giant dog, and the first villain of the weak. Because he's a giant dog his voice should be deep, growly, angry and grumbly. In addition to the dialogue it'd be great if you threw in some grunts and "barks" and what not.
“Where is the spirit of fire!”
“AAAAH! THE FIRE, IT BURNS!”
"Emerald Blaaaaze!”
