Diamond Jack (a short audio novel)
Project Overview
Hello! So, let's get right into it, eh? Diamond Jack is a short story about a thief, a detective, and a card dealer. It draws inspiration from the animated video of the same name, but isn't me trying to make a story for that video. Just an experience that can be as fun as that was! And so, why I need voice actors! I need a VA mainly for the voice of detective kentrate (A 20-year old scrawny detective). If someone wants to audition for the role of Jack, then go for it! I plan on voicing the character, however if you can fit his voice type then you'll get the role! Jack is an 17-19 year old theif with a slick voice, and overall very expressive. If you are cast, i'll need your lines ASAP, i can't afford to be late on this project. Thank you for reading, and please enjoy yourselves!

Detective Kentrate is a 20 something detective who's eager to capture Jack. He's not so much into playing games, and rather get to the point. He's got a short temper and is generally proud of himself, which may lead him to making mistakes He's an arrogant detective with hopes of becoming the best he can. I don't have a specific idea for his voice, but i'd really like it if you did a voice in the medium to deep range. Not to deep though!
“Damnit, why do they keep broadcasting each of his heists?! They’re making us seem incompetent!” Angry, on the verge of punching something kind of anger
“Damned that Jack!! I swear to it I’ll catch him if it’s the last thing I do!” He’s exhausted and angry. He just stopped running from a long distance
“What the-“ Shocked, surprised.
Jack is the protagonist/antagonist, and is a very confident, yet happy and upbeat person. He's clever and like to joke around. Alot. He's evaded Kentrate for awhile and is his main rival. He's a very goofy/expressive person who believes he's above everyone, and truly believes himself to be invincible, thus he's very happy. His voice oughta be in the mid range, a trickster voice with passion.
"Oh shit...." Tired, exhausted/gasping after running for a long time.
"You'll never catch me alive copper!" Confident/smug. He's also running as he says this
"Ya got me Kentrate..." Sighs, sad/disappointed.
