Fireteam Spectral : Season 2 [ Halo 5 Machinima ]
Project Overview
Fireteam Spectral : Season 2 is an upcoming Halo 5 machinima, as well as being a soft reboot for the series.
Season Synopsis:
"A thinning rendition against time reveals a deep and opening wound Spectral chases Orion down. Revealing bigger and darker secrets, testing the brotherhood of the fireteam as they must face what's on the other side."
Season 2 - taking place right after the events of season 1 - dives into the deeper and more darker side of the universe. Diving into the characters backstories and motives. Season 2 not only pays off the pre-established elements from the first season, but also setting up the foundations for the over-arching story for the series going forward. With many twists and turns along the way.
Taking place in 2555, amidst a galactic cold war - Dubbed "The Silent War". Fireteam Spectral - Comprised of Grayson, Malachie, Fox and Adler - are sent after a dangerous Mercenary - Orion - that looks to enact revenge upon the UNSC. Finding themselves in the crosshairs of a larger threat. (Which season 2 bleeds into).

This was my first ever machinima I made back when I was 12-13. It hasn't aged well, hence the reboot. All I ask is that you give it a chance? Since its all up from here on out!
Fireteam Spectral's development has been long and tedious. Season 2 is technically the latter half of season 1. However later down the line, I extended season 1's latter half and it basically expanded and became a full fledged season on its own.
Fireteam Spectral is a show that encompasses the theme of Brotherhood down to its core. Taking inspiration from shows such as Game of Thrones, Attack on Titan and of course Red Vs. Blue. As well as many more. All with the goal of trying to be its own thing and innovate on previous machinima conventions. All with the main goal of standing out and setting a standard for machinima. In whatever way I can.

The sentimental commander, and a very close friend to the members of Fireteam Spectral. Speaking with a lighter and smooth voice. Lawson remains firm but endearing, Giving the bad news and orders straight, while also being flexible enough to bend and alter orders. All with a passive and otherwise friendly and witty tone, but a stern one at the same time. Only argumentative when he needs to be.
Lawson is a long time friend of Grayson (The sergeant of the Fireteam), and is close with the other members of Fireteam Spectral. Lawson uses his commander position for the betterment of Spectral. By finding ways to root for them by pulling strings that give them the chances they need to complete their mission, under the pretenses of the UNSC and ONI's intervention.
Behind Lawson's caring and compromising nature is someone broken by an Injury that upended and compromised his ability to become a spartan along side the rest of Spectral. His sympathetic attitude towards the Fireteam is derived by a stolen chance to live up to his potential.

(Concerned) "Just because you bounce back quickly, doesn't mean you're fine."
(Argumentative) "Do you have any idea how much strain I put on my fucking career for you! Every chord and thread I pull to keep you in the game weakens whatever platform or reputation I have with the higher ups. Stop thinking about yourself for once, and maybe consider I've done all I can for you!"
Atlas (A.k.a Marcus Adler) is the older brother to William Adler on Fireteam Spectral. Speaking in a kind, and somewhat sentimental tone. Atlas is able to bond and get along with nearly everyone from his approachable demeanor. However he has a very somber tone to him, especially around Adler. Leading people to suspect there is more under the surface.
Atlas is a former experienced EOD operative, Although he is stationed along side Lawson (Whom watches over Spectral and his brother). Atlas is still an experienced soldier, but he prioritizes his brother and their relationship. Through the themes of brotherhood that is present in this series.
However under his demeanor lies an emotionally distant trainwreck that is hiding a secret about his past and his brother. Driving him to do whatever it takes to protect Adler in the best way he can - and in the ways he knows how.
Atlas is a minor character this season, how he goes on to become a large part of the wider story, that will later go on to become apart of an ONI spartan sector known as 'Sword'.

(Concerned) "Just don't go getting yourself hurt, avoid the sharp corners best you can. I just got you back in one piece."
Gamma is a hired mercenary by Orion, and is a major antagonist throughout the season. Gamma is a quiet, calculated, tough and meat-headed brute that doesn't go down easy, and gives Spectral a run for their money.
Despite not being a spartan, and despite being a unit of a man. Gamma relies on the use of RMBL (Renascence Marbleized Biotic Lactic Enrager) Basically making the user equivalent to a spartan for a brief period of time.
Gamma speaks in a cold, low and gruff tone, acting as the muscle - Less brain - in Orion's triage. I am looking for someone who can pull off the more emotive and gesture based dialogue, such as grunts and sounds of being hit. As Gamma isn't a dialogue heavy role.

(Slightly annoyed) "Orion. If you're just gonna sideline us and have your tea party, Me and Beck can go wait in the pelican."
Beck is another hired mercenary by Orion, and is a major antagonist throughout the season. Beck is witty, smart, tough and Cold. And despite being smaller than everyone in Spectral, she uses her smarts to her advantage.
Beck isn't a spartan, relying on the use of RMBL (Renascence Marbleized Biotic Lactic Enrager) Basically making the user equivalent to a spartan for a brief period of time. She applies this and her way around her use of body weight to her advantage during fights, but often aims to taunt and manipulate her targets in compensation.
Beck speaks in a cold, Posh like tone, acting as the Brains - Less Muscle - in Orion's triage. Beck isn't a dialogue heavy role as opposed to the others. I am looking for someone who is able to pull off grunts or sounds of being hit.

Vergil is a major antagonist in the latter half of season 2. Vergil is extremely light hearted and charismatic, speaking with a warm tone with a certain posh wit to him.
Being the 9th division general, Vergil is often viewed as an incompetent commander. This isn't through his lack of tactician ability, but by him choosing to sit behind the battlelines and do nothing with his ability as the spearhead of the remaining 10 division houses. (Divisions 9 -10 and 12-19)
Vergil's notorious reputation amidst the other houses stems from his conniving, careful and opportunistic nature. Shunned for him doing nothing, Vergil waits for a near perfect chance to gain an advantage. This is helped by his charismatic demeanor, where he can walk into a room with guns pointed at him and still having his wit at the forefront.
Vergil rides on a minor role this season, but he sprawls out into a bigger acting figure in the later seasons.

(Witty) "13 doesn't rule over 9 and 10, There is a way this works. Misalign your place with your ego, and you become worse than the battered stray I found you as"
Pike is a minor antagonist in the latter half of the season. Pike is an intimidating and witty figure (Akin to Negan from twd)
Speaking with a lone tone, with certain condescending smugness to him.
Being the 10th division general, Pike is a cunning black market munitions dealer. Controlling a large amount of trade routes from in between the outer sectors and outer/inner colonies. Pike's base is on an abandoned UNSC shipyard planet called: Axis - He inhabits the "presumably" decommissioned factory, which where he profits the most off of the pipeline.
Pike is known for being a sharp salesman, being hard to bargain with. Having his claws in the trade sectors, Pike's power extends throughout all the regions of humanities space (Being the Inner and Outer Colonies, and the unpatrolled Outer Sectors). This is smelt on his ego, acting on his own volition and finding a opportunity to gain from it. Which leads to his condescending and smug demeanor, finding ways to manipulate and get inside peoples heads.
Pike serves as a minor role this season, but will go on to become apart of the larger picture in the later seasons.

(Sarcastic) "This is a 100% straight shot, and its okay if we fuck up here and there. Because that's how we grow as people. Now kindly can we put on our big boy pants and draw a plan that doesn't make my ears bleed?"
[A one-off character but an important one none the less.]
Layton is a spartan III and the former commander of Fireteam Spectral. A tough, Witty, no bullshit, straight to the point kind of character.
Being an experienced soldier, Layton was served up to lead Fireteam Spectral's first mission.

Nora is a very minor character in the season, but goes on to be a large player in the over-arching story.
Being a small yellow Artificial Intelligence unit based on (a now deceased) explorer "Nora Belandes". Whom went on to uncover the natural resource "Irrenisite" that is now used to build the UNSC's vast armada of frigates.
Nora has an energetic personality of her own, often being quick whipped and witty. As well as being extremely intelligent and observant.

The soldiers are the militia that are comprised up of mercenaries and pirates, all with different personalities and accents. Showing all walks of life out in the badland outer sectors of the galaxy.
For context, The insurrectionist divisions are essentially individual houses that control a certain aspect or region of the outer sectors. However all soldiers don the same exact armor. Must be a budget thing...

A very fluid role with no set specifics. All of the marines come from different walks of life and all possess individual personalities. Serving very minor roles throughout the season. Go hard with creativity!
The UNSC marines aren't your typical halo marines, they wear the assault armor with a primary gunmetal grey and different permutations for their secondary, depending on whichever commander they come from.
All wearing the same exact armor, must be a budget thing...
