Deltarune The Musical ARTISTS Call
Project Overview
Game Rec Room is looking for artists interested in helping us out in the creation of Deltarune The Musical! Any and all enthusiastic Deltarune fans are encouraged to send in a submission to be an illustrator for this passion project.
*note: Deltarune the Musical is non-commission, and done purely out of love for the game and story.
The role of artist will act as a revolving door for those interested. This means no long-term commitments will be expected, rather, a fluid movement of artists in and out of the project as schedules are adjusted for everyone's comfort. We strive to encourage a flexible and positive community to make your experience working on Deltarune the Musical the best it can be!
This project will be a compilation of lyric videos set to the music of Deltarune, very similar to what was seen on the channel for Deltarune the Musical: Chapter 1.
You're welcome to view not only our Deltarune lyric videos, but also the more recent Super Paper Mario the Musical to get an understanding of not only the style of video, but also our channel's particular approach.
Some pre-audition information:
Be at least 16+ to audition
Be open to working on Discord, that is where the majority of communication will occur
Communication is key. While deadlines will be adjusted for convenience, you are expected to communicate in a consistent manner so that we can suit your needs to the best of our ability.

Artist
Submit your portfolio, or artworks most similar to the outline described below:
This project requires digital artworks to be drawn that almost always include both foreground and background elements, lightly matching the slightly cartoon-like style of the game, with lots of room for interpretation.
Knowledge of perspective and character posing within a scene are very beneficial, as well as understanding of lighting, color theory and shading techniques.
If you are an animator as well, and willing/able to share your talents, please provide examples and state that clearly on your submission
If you have social media with prior works available to view, please link any accounts in your submission.
