Glitchware is a YouTube channel which started in Spring of 2017. We are well known for being the unofficial official dub for the series Glitchtale, and for our spin of the Betty Stronger Than You cover that we currently have on our channel. At the moment our channel has a little over 10,000 subscribers, and almost 3 million channel views. Within the past year, we have strived to break apart from Undertale only content. Currently we are producing 6 different series including an original animated series known as Bug Fixes, comedic commentary in our series known as In A Nutshell, and different dubs like the one you'll be auditioning for today. Deltarune is a series produced by Toby Fox as a supposed sequel to the game Undertale. It features new never seen before characters as they embark on a new journey. Because most of our cast already has a voice associated with an Undertale character, we would like to introduce some new fresh voices to our VA roaster. By the looks of it, this one chapter might be the only chapter we will see for a while. However, this does not stop us from wanting to dub this masterpiece. Below will be the requirements for this casting call.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Please introduce yourself. Being that you might become part of our official cast, we would like to know a little about you and your personality.
-Your microphone must be clear. We don't want to hear your TV in the background, and we don't want to hear people talking in the background. If you can, also try to remove all static from the audio clip you submit. We want to hear your voice and your voice only.
-Please leave your email in the comment section of your audition. This is so we can privately email you if need be.
-It would be helpful if you had discord as a form of contact. This is what our team uses most to chat with each other and give progress updates on the game.

Kris is the main protagonist, and while they do not speak a lot - you will be tasked with voicing all the extra dialogue of the game. Every save point, every action, every time Kris looks into the mirror.
This is an extremely important role, and requires full dedication to sticking to it. Please ensure that you'll be able to remain on cast in order to voice this character,

Ralsei is the Prince of Darkness, though despite his title he is actually a protagonist. Ralsei dislikes fighting, and feels there can always be a peaceful solution to every situation. He comes at odds with both Susie and Lancer for their violent ways, but doesn't feel hatred towards either of them. In fact, he is known to be overly forgiving, while still being the most intelligence based one of the group.
Ralsei's voice is up to your interpretation, though we imagine him to be a bit nerdy sounding. Please try more than one take, with different voices that you think would fit his character. Ralsei is a LEADING CHARACTER. That means he requires commitment. Please do not audition if you do not believe you will be able to voice him all the way through to the end.

Lancer is a main character in Deltarune, posing at first as the main antagonist - you eventually befriend him along the way. While his age is unknown, he seems to have a very young mentality. He's tasked by his father to capture the three protagonists and keep them from achieving their goal. A Bostonian accent is not required, it is hoped for. If you can't do a Bostonian accent, try your best - or perhaps substitute it for a different accent. If you can, please do a take with the accent, without, and how YOU imagine Lancer to sound.
He's known to be very loud, slightly obnoxious, but also downright lovable. There are very few serious moments he has, but please try to really sell those specific moments he does. Those are the moments that really prove what you can give us as a voice actor. If you are female, you are still allowed to audition - since he is perceived to be rather young, just make sure you actually sound like a young boy, and not like a female trying to pass off as one. Lancer is a MAIN CHARACTER and he REQUIRES COMMITMENT.
"Ho ho ho! The hero's are already running away, and they didn't even know I was here! My dad's gonna make me son of the month!
I'm... The bad guy!

The King of Spades is referenced through out the game as being a cruel and ruthless ruler. He is also the father of Lancer, and is shown to care little for his son. He's a trickster, and cares very little for anyone other than himself - yet puts up a facade of leadership. The King should be able to switch between a serious, and more pathetic/friendly voice, as he quite easily tries and succeeds at manipulating the protagonists.
The king shows up near the end of the series, as he is the final boss before the end of the game. We do not know what his role in the next chapter will be, so it would be favorable if you were able to stick around with the group if casted. Do multiple takes, with different interpretations of what he would sound like.

Rouxls Kaard, the Puzzle Master, is a narcissistic character who thinks highly of himself. He tries hard to speak in old English, We are looking for an extremely over the top dramatic accent, with rolled R's and such. He is very flamboyant and show's his emotions on his sleeve, so don't be afraid to really go for it.
He is a minor character that shows up near the mid half of the game, please do more than one take and try different interpretations of what he may sound like. Accent is not required, but preferred.

The Jevil is a mysterious character we don't know much about, being found near the end game. We speak to a mysterious door, and have to find a key in order to free him. After that, the immediately attacks us - and forces us through a chaotic battle that is quite difficult to beat. His personality is sporadic and chaotic. This character requires a lot of energy - perhaps take inspiration from the mad hatter when trying to voice him.
Please try multiple different takes, showcasing your interpretations of this character. He is a minor character, and will only be shown near the end of the series. If you can, also use his voice in the actual fight as reference. It would be nice to try and get it as close as we can.
