Project Overview
Deaths Becoming is a series about the son of Death being sent to the mortal realm to learn what it takes to take his fathers role. Him and his best friend Caydon, who is a demon, have to live life as full fledged humans, as well as attend high school.

Clay is the son of Death himself. He has a passion for collecting items from the mortal world with his best friend Caydon. This role has already been cast but feel free to still submit auditions as I may choose you for another role.

(Scared) So uh… I’ll just take my business elsewhere… haha… RUN!!!
Really dad? We could’ve just walked. You know doing that makes Caydon sick.
Caydon is the best friend of the main character Clay, as well as a demon. They are typically very nervous or scared. They appear as a typical high school student when not in their demon form.

(paranoid) Clay we really should go back now. Y-you weren’t supposed to leave your room.
(Sound like you’re about to vomit) I’m… good… I’m going to lay down for a minute…
(scared/shocked scream) AHHHH
Olivia is a new friend of Clay and Caydon, meeting when they go to school. She is very smart, can be fairly blunt, but has a certain charismatic charm to her even though she can appear to be shy.

(awkward) Sorry, didn’t mean to eavesdrop… but we are all kinda right here.
Well I’m Olivia. I know you two are new, so I hope you like it here.
(annoyed) This is my cousin Derek. My parents told me he had to come with me or I couldn't go.
Baxter is the first boy Clay and Caydon meet at school. He is very open with people, including strangers. He's not the most popular kid but that doesn't stop him from making the most out of things. I feel like I should clarify Baxter is meant to be energetic and talks with lots of enthusiasm

Oh, also! (Clears throat and talks in an accent) I dub thee my new friends and invite thou to my humble abode after school. Doth thou accept this invitation?
Wow, I’ve never seen Quentin have an asthma attack like that before.
Death himself, Clays father, a ruler of the underworld. He is the main antagonist.

I am aware, however… he has no choice in the matter. It is his destiny, one that cannot be changed.

The demon assistant to Death. They are two characters in one. Harkins is more professional, and Wilkins is more sadistic. Ideally I would like to cast the same VA who can manage to make the two voices distinct enough, but if needed I will cast two VA's

Wilkins- Have you tried just killing people before their time sir?
Harkins- However, perhaps it wouldn’t hurt to look into… other… options.
