Project Overview
Death Come True is an upcoming murder mystery adventure full motion video game written and directed by Kazutaka Kodaka, creator of the Danganronpa series. With English Dub. In the game, protagonist Makoto Karaki wakes up in a hotel with amnesia only to find himself the main suspect in a series of murders and the ability to "Time Leap", able to go back into the past when he dies. The game has a branching story with multiple endings based on the player's choices.

Makoto wakes up in a hotel, and realizes he has lost his memory. He has no recollection of who he is or why he is in the hotel. By watching the news on TV, he learns that he is wanted for a series of murders. He also finds he has the miraculous ability to "Time Leap" - able to return to the past each time he dies. By dying multiple times, he is able to change the decisions he made and try to discover the truth of how he ended up a wanted man.

Akane is a police investigator who is part of the Special Investigation Division. She was found in an empty bathtub, unconscious and tied up in the same hotel where Makoto Karaki woke up. Although Akane is a strong character, she also has a soft side.

Nozomu is a young police investigator in the Special Investigation Division. He is an elite investigator that has solved a number of difficult cases. He seems to be chasing Makoto Karaki, who is the prime suspect in a series of murders. Nozomu is quite enigmatic and seems to work at his own pace.

The hotel concierge is the concierge and clark of the hotel where Makoto Karaki woke up. He appears to know the "secrets" of the hotel. He is always calm, and has single expression that never changes no matter what happens.

If the player chooses not to untie Akane Sachimura, Nene first appears when she knocks on the latter's hotel room door, crying for help. She lets herself in as soon as Makoto Karaki opens the door, complaining about a terrifying noise in her room, which she assumes to be of supernatural origin.
As she walks inside, she notices Akane sitting on the floor with her hands tied, which she immediately questions. Rather than tell the truth, Makoto claims this to be a "personal liking", but finally looking at him, Nene recognizes him to be the serial-killer Makoto Karaki, whom she claims to be a fan of.
Her attitude switches completely and she assumes Akane to be Makoto's next victim. Refusing to listen to him, she begs him to let her watch him commit the murder, insisting she won't tell anyone, as she's truly a fan. Makoto still refuses and, not willing to let go, she decides to kill Akane herself, hoping he'll kill her next. She hits Akane to knock her out and then snaps her neck with her legs, effectively killing her on the spot. Proudly announcing she did it, she walks towards Makoto, paralyzed in fear, and begs him to kill her now.
Makoto being unresponsive, she starts hitting him over and over, hoping he'll defend himself eventually, but she ends up killing him in the process.

Kenichi is a popular news anchor who is the host of a daily evening news program. He has a good character and carefree way of talking which captivates the audience of his news program. It seems, however, that he has a hidden reason to be visiting the hotel.
