Dead War - Pilot (Recast)
Project Overview
INTRODUCTION:
Welcome to Dead War, a series following a group of survivors as they traverse a world they once knew now littered with the undead. Armed with special skills and advanced weapons, they overcome challenges as they pursue the truth as to what has transformed their once simple lives into an everyday struggle for survival. This project, upon completion, will be released to platforms such as Newgrounds and YouTube as an animatic.
EPISODE REQUIREMENTS:
This pilot episode will act as a precursor to the common setting of Dead War, featuring a short clip of each character, and their background before the zombie outbreak. This casting call is specifically a recast for the main character, Lloyd Razo. His voice actor has unfortunately left us due to other obligations, and being a main character, is quite important to the arc we've built so far! If interested, the recording requirements are listed below.
RECORDING REQUIREMENTS:
-Must have a decent microphone with little to no static or background noise
-Discord is our primary platform, so upon your acceptance, you must have the application in order to access necessary information and practice sessions
-You must be present and active throughout the duration of your contribution to the project. If you fail to do so, your role will be replaced by the next capable actor available

He's African American, so although we'd love everyone to audition, the voice has to fit the character. He's an angry, obstinate man with a short temper. There's always an underlying hint of threat in his voice, since his youth taught him to hide weakness. Good luck!
Privileged rich boy, acting like he owns the damn world!
(Honestly, just give us a good, unbridled scream of rage!)
(He knows quite a bit about street fighting, so we'd like for you to ad-lib for about 20 seconds on how he got into that specific "hobby".)
Although we have a primary animator already, this is a lot of work for one guy alone! Some help would be appreciated, specifically for those with experience in background art, and fight choreography!
