DBZA Abridged: Closing Chapters
Project Overview
Season 4 of DBZA
Hi All!
This project will serve as a continuation of the work started by TeamFourStar. We are not them but have been fans of them since they started all those years ago. We plan to create Season 4 of DBZA and honor their work the best we can. To do this we need great talent on our team! We are looking for Voice Actors for many different roles and will continue to add more as we need them.
The main things we look for in the auditions are:
1.) Acting Chops
2.) Impression (How closely your voice resembles a voice from TFS if it has already been done before) or your character choice (if the character has not been voiced by TFS before)
3.) Sound quality(bad sound quality won't always disqualify you from a role but when you audition please put your best foot forward. Try to eliminate background noise, echo, and distortion as much as possible. Please do not record in an open unfinished basement or next to a loud AC unit. Show us what your lines can sound like if you are chosen)
When you audition, please record all your lines in a single audition and do your takes in the ABCABC format. This means all the lines in one voice, then do the lines again with a different take.
If you decide not to do the lines chosen then just be creative and show us what you've got!
Please add a way for us to get into contact with you in the description of your audition. Discord is preferred!
Please add what mic you use, interface if applicable, if your space is treated, and software you use to record.
We look forward to hearing all your auditions and getting this show on the road!

We are looking for a voice that is similar to the DBZ version but it doesn't have to be exact. He is high pitched and pretty happy go-lucky until he gets angry. If you feel like you have a different take try that too!
This role will be open for awhile because Buu does not show up in the series till later down the line. Just some clarification so you don't get discouraged if you are not chosen right away.
Mr. Babidi, I have an idea, it's a really good Idea. (Buu's idea is to kill Babidi so it should start as innocent and then some malice should creep in.)

Super Buu and Evil Buu have similar voices and are are chaotic, evil sounding abominations. Give us something similar to the DBZ voice or your own take!

After absorbing Piccolo Buu's voice changes to be much more mature and articulate. We still want to hear that evil in him because he is still chaotic but now instead of "evil with bad grammar" he is "evil but went to school"

Dabura is a demon. In the show he has a pretty low, grumbly, but proper voice and TFS did dub him in the Buu Bits. We will look for something similar but are also open to creative takes on a Demon.

Babidi in the show is a small creature but has a very cocky attitude and almost a goblin type voice. See if you can replicate something like that or get creative!
