[Day6] Kpop / K-pop Cover Group
Project Overview
Hello! I'm looking to make a DAY6 cover group because I absolutely love their songs. I'm still a little new to the fandom but I absolutely love their songs and would like to sing them with other fans. Our covers will be posted on YouTube to our own group channel that I will make and perhaps on soundcloud as well. I do plan on self-casting myself into the group but I will hold off on that until all auditions are in.
I do plan on video-editing for the group but I have absolutely no talent when it comes to audio editing. So if you can help with that I would be very thankful!
Requirements To Be a Vocalist:
- Have a Decent Mic
- Have Discord and be active we will use this to stay updated
- Have access to Google Docs this will be used to view the split lyrics with harmonies, doubles & adlibs
- Be able to participate in EVERY cover (every vocalist is important since this is a small group)
- Be able to record by the due date most likely in 3 weeks or less. If you need more time that is fine, we all have real lives and problems but I would rather not wait three months for something especially if we're only waiting for one person.
- Be nice! Let's get along and I hope we can become friends. ^^
Q&A:
Q: Does gender matter when auditioning?
A: No whether you're a boy or a girl please feel free to audition. :)
Q: Can I audition for Dowoon? Why not?
A: Unfortunately since Dowoon does not get many lines, sometimes none at al, I believe it will be easier to just split any lines between the four actual members.
Q: Will we be singing in Korean or English?
A: We will primarily be covering DAY6's songs in Korean, but we can also discuss covering their English versions too.
Q: Should my audition be in Korean or English?
A: Since we will mostly be covering in Korean, I do prefer to hear your Korean pronunciation.

Jae is one of the lead vocalists and also a rapper in Day6. He has a soothing distinctive voice that can also be powerful and charming. If auditioning please sing/rap something that will showcase this.

Young K is one of the lead vocalists and the main rapper in DAY6. He has a very powerful voice, often sings the adlibs, and is able to deliver fast raps flawlessly. If auditioning please sing/rap something that will showcase this.
