Mass Effect: Dawn of the Reapers: Casting Call II
Project Overview
Dawn of the Reapers, the prolific Mass Effect-themed Sins of a Solar Empire total conversion mod is back in full swing and will be in need of additional voice casting now and in the future. The roles will be for individual unit acknowledgment cues within the context of a real-time strategy game. For more information on the mod and what we, as a team, have accomplished, check out our MODDB where we have been nominated for mod of the year.

Jien Garson is the eccentric human billionaire who spearheaded both Project Odyssey and the Andromeda Initiative with the goal of colonizing the Heleus Cluser in the Andromeda Galaxy. She is known to be direct and rather defiant of naysayers. The character was played by the actress Jamie Clayton. For reference, here is the Andromeda Initiative introduction: https://youtu.be/KsHHiWqgbw8
Hi, Jien Garson here.
Andromeda Initiative Nexus, reporting.
Same shit, different galaxy.
Hackett was born in Buenos Aires in 2134. When his mother died in 2146, he was placed in the Advanced Training Academy for Juveniles, where his affinity for science and leadership quickly became evident. Hackett enlisted in 2152, volunteering for high-risk missions to colonize space beyond the Sol Relay. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in 2156 and participated in the First Contact War the following year. His rare ascent from enlisted man to admiral remains an Alliance legend. A reference for his voice can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRoCX6TIOWw
We will give them no quarter.
We'll do what has to be done.
Admiral Hackett reporting, commander.
Admiral Nitesh Singh is the Admiral of the Third Alliance Fleet. He managed to stall the Reapers long enough for Commander Shepard to escape Earth while also saving half of his fleet. There is not any voice reference, so feel free to experiment.
Admiral Singh, here.
Third fleet is ready to get back into the fight.
We will destroy them!
Flight Lieutenant Jeff "Joker" Moreau is the pilot of the SSV Normandy. Joker is an excellent pilot and confident to the point of arrogance, wasting no time in pointing out his prowess to others. He's quick to ensure everyone knows his many accomplishments and commendations were all earned, and not due to charity for his medical problems. Here's a reference for his voice and temperament: https://youtu.be/_tWJ-o3w4go
What do you need, commander?
The best damn pilot the Council's ever scene, right here!
Come and get me!
Hannah Shepard is Commander Shepard's mother, if Shepard has the Spacer background. In 2183 she serves as the executive officer aboard the Alliance dreadnought SSV Kilimanjaro. One of her previous postings was on the Alliance carrier SSV Einstein. She's also known to cut through the crap! Here's a reference for her voice and temperament: https://youtu.be/h63rKXnr8Hs
Admiral Shepard here.
I should go.
They're going to get what's coming to them.
Admiral Zaal'Koris vas Qwib-Qwib is one of the members of the quarian Admiralty Board. He is outspoken for his sympathetic views on the geth and can come across incredibly arrogant and spiteful. Here is a voice reference: https://youtu.be/2zQ06lifwXc
The Qwuib-Qwuib (Kwib-Kwib) is a fine vessel.
Of course, fine order, commander.
It's not like I wanted to crush you.
Admiral Han'Gerrel vas Neema is one of the members of the quarian Admiralty Board. He has had a history of causing trouble along the turian border for a number of years, coming across as aggressive and a bit of a warmonger. Here is a voice reference: https://youtu.be/P0hdcs8WoFc
Neema reporting, admiral.
We'll take the fight to them.
I was waiting for a damned attack order!
Admiral Shala'Raan vas Tonbay is a member of the quarian Admiralty Board. She is an old friend of Tali'Zorah's father, having known the Zorah family for over 25 years. Tali calls her "Auntie Raan." She and Tali's mother synchronised suits so that they could be in the same clean room for Tali's birth. Raan was the one who delivered Tali; as a result, she was sick for a week. She is undecided on the geth, not siding with any of the other admirals. Depending on Commander Shepard's actions on Tali's behalf, the Admiral announces the result of the trial: Tali is guilty and sentenced to exile, or the Board has acquitted her of all charges. Here is a reference for her voice: https://youtu.be/Q8jHMv1T30I
The Tonbay is reporting.
We will defend what little we have.
We're hardly a war vessel, but we'll do what we must.
Daro'Xen possesses a clinical intellect, apparently having performed surgery on her childhood toys without any sort of guilt or attachments on the matter. Admiral Daro'Xen vas Moreh is a member of the quarian Admiralty Board. She is known for her keen scientific interest in the geth. Here is a reference for her voice: https://youtu.be/Zc6Vimj8wzo
Moreh here.
We'll command their respect.
I really haven't the time for this.
Captain Jarral recklessly leads as the cheerfully ruthless Captain Jarral of Omega's pirate fleet, has since been detailed to the most troubled Reaper fronts and, each time, has helped turn the tide. Here is a reference for her voice, which is the asari hologram on for a few seconds: https://youtu.be/gVd7EzAeyRc?t=3m39s
Captain Jarral, what do you want?
Need me for something?
We're gonna kick the shit out of them!
Rear Admiral Mikhailovich is a Systems Alliance Admiral serving in the Fifth Fleet; specifically, he commands the 63rd Scout Flotilla. He can come across as brash and racist toward aliens but ultimately puts his bigotry and distrust aside when the Reapers arrive, doing his duty to defend all Council species. Here is a reference for his voice: https://youtu.be/BHPrYK16Y7A
Admiral Boris Mikhailovich reporting.
We'll hunt them down and wipe them out.
Good hunting out there.
Oleg Petrovsky is a Cerberus general. He is an experienced and formidable military strategist, as well as a classical scholar with a deep knowledge of military history. Viewing the path that humanity is taking and the looming danger of the Reapers in that context, Petrovsky is concerned about humanity's future and strongly supportive of Cerberus' plans. Here is a reference for his voice: https://youtu.be/O3EchBk4Y2Y
Oleg Petrovsky here, please stop wasting my time.
Mm, I knew we'd become best of friends.
We'll make short work of them.
