Daughters of Starlight
Project Overview
Daughters of Starlight is a cinematic fantasy-drama series created in The Sims 4 using machinima. It follows the Mendoza family across generations of love, loss, and magic, blending slice-of-life intimacy with dark fantasy elements. The story began with Margot Mendoza, a High Priestess who sacrificed everything for love, and now continues with her daughter Sofia, who begins her journey at a magical boarding school.
The series combines literary-style narration, emotional character drama, and supernatural worldbuilding. It’s designed as both a continuation of Margot’s legacy and a new standalone story that new viewers can enter through Sofia’s perspective.
The tone is moody, lyrical, and character-driven — somewhere between a coming-of-age fantasy and a gothic family saga. Episodes will premiere on YouTube (3–5 minutes), with promotional cuts on TikTok and Instagram.

Death is not a villain, but neither is it a friend. In the Daughters of Starlight series, the Grim Reaper is an ever-present force, appearing to Sofía and others at pivotal moments. This character should carry an aura of inevitability, timelessness, and quiet authority.
Think of voices like Cate Blanchett’s Galadriel (ethereal and commanding), or Liam Neeson in The Chronicles of Narnia (calm, resonant, wise), or even a softer version of Thanos (inevitable, patient).Delivery should be deliberate, almost ritualistic, as if every sentence is a spell.Should be able to switch between warmth (comforting Sofía in her grief) and cold inevitability (reminding her of the laws of magic and death).
