About Chiyo!

Chiyo is the main character of Darkling 101. 

-Energetic, clumsy, therapist-friend-like personality. [Previous Episodes for Reference] 

-Known for reaching out to others and understanding them, which can also be a flaw in many ways. 

-Her Darkling is an owl, which symbolizes her growing independence and wisdom throughout the series.

-She will have to sing a little bit in the series (3–4 times).

About Rune!

Rune is an extra character in Darkling 101, who will be seen in the background and occasionally speak every few episodes. Rune is a non-binary, water-healing elemental, and a junior student at Kirari High School.  They will mostly show up in season two. Rune is an introvert, usually unless they find someone who they are comfortable with. They are easily distracted and are most likely to be seen chasing little ladybugs or butterflies.

Auditioner Preference: Relaxed, laid back and anxious to expressive and animated

(About Ethral!

Ethral is an extra character within Darkling 101. She will pop up multiple times, she is a gardener and a florist. She would give out flower crowns to her classmates sometimes and she is very enthusiastic. She is an optimistic sophomore who always has unlimited energy!

Age Range Preference: 13+ This Character Does not Curse Within The Series

About Ms. Evergreen!

Ms. Evergreen is the teacher of the nature element of the school. 

She has a relaxed, laid-back personality and teaches the students about peace and humility. She teaches students to become one with their darkling and their growth, she will be seen at least once every 3-4 episodes.

About Diamond!

Diamond is an energetic, joyful freshman that is often seen in the background and heard every 2-3 Episodes. She is often found in the garden, helping Ethral Rose and creating crystals around the garden as well. She is usually silent but once you get her talking its nearly impossible for her to stop.

About Aiko!

Aiko Asuka is Aura's Darkling. Aiko is known to be motherly and caring, compared to Aura, Aiko is the "mom friend" of the series. She checks up on everyone and is very considerate and caring. Just as quickly she can become toxic and intimidating if triggered to do so. Aiko is carefree and nonchalant, unlike other Darklings', she likes to roam around the school as if she is a student.

About Mr. Inumi!

Mr. Inumi is a jokester, but also has a laid-back personality. He is known to teach students about learning to control and tame their darklings as they grow, as well as how to channel their energy into a goal or obstacle without getting out of control.

About Star!

Star is an inquisitive, comforting character that studies astronomy. Star appears 3-4 times every 5-6 episodes, when she has lines they are usually medium length, but can end up being short sometimes. She can usually be found on the roof sketching the skies or on the balcony stargazing with her girlfriend, Roxanne.

About Vivianne!

Vivianne is a foxy, independent junior at Kirari Highschool. She is a member of the Student Council, known for her cunning and sly tactics. She is often seen lurking around listening to students or hiding in the student council with Jikaru (The president) She becomes more present throughout the series (Most active in Season 2-3)

About Roxanne!

Roxanne is a nonchalant, but comforting character within the series. She prefers to avoid the public eye and likes to spend time by herself, or rather with her girlfriend, Star. She likes fluffy animals and gardening with Ethral occasionally, but only after dark. She will be seen once or twice every 2-3 episodes, and occasionally have background lines (Most Active in Season 2)

About Vanilla!

Vanilla is a egocentric, but tries her best to seem open to others, she is annoyingly optimistic in the worst moments. She is easily confused and would occasionally be found in the theatre room, practicing her lines with confidence (overkill confidence usually) She's like a little sister to Juso, often being excited and childish around him.

About Vanilla!

Allie is a wise, cunning rabbit. She can read indirect signals amazingly and can easily tell how someone is feeling. Since Allie is a seer and can see into the probability of the future, she will often hint at things if someone is in danger or needs help. She is seen every 4-5 episodes, but when she is seen she is often story telling or has alot of lines. She is often seen in the Luna nightcare, attending to and reading the children bedtime stories about their ruler and their origination.

About Rion!

Rion is an extra character within Darkling 101. She is a relaxed, laid-back, mature character. She is a senior of Kirari Highschool, known for her being able to see certain visions from the future at the cost of her eyesight. 

Age Range Preference: 15+ This Character May Curse Within The Series 

Auditioner Preference: Laid back, dull voice 

Voice Range Preference:  Alto (Mid Voice)

In order to audition for the Series Advertiser, you need to be able to create eye-catching social medias (User names, Descriptions, etc) based on the works our artists will give you! You are also in charge of assisting the series in growing its audience! In order to audition, you need to be able to give a story telling description that will engage our watchers. 

To audition, submit the following:

-> If you've promoted any previous accounts or series, or edited anything that's eye-catching and engaging, send a screenshot or png within Google Drive to us. 

-> List your previous experience and your availability time.

-> Create a 2-sentence engaging description based on one of the characters' photos. 

Weapon Designers need to be able to create a weapon by merging the given description and their imagination. You need to be able to make a weapon such as a knife, gun, sword, or magical staff,etc.  and add designs and give it personality. 

In order to audition, submit one the following: 

-> Draw a weapon with the given description.

      > Blue to Purple fade, Midnight Themed with a Bat-like theme

-> Send Atleast 5 Pngs of Previous Weapon Designs with Google Drive (include speedpaints if able to) 

Background Character Riggers need to be able to create simple animations using a basic model. You need to be able to create an interacting animation (no need to be good at lip syncing just mouth movement), a waving animation, a glance to side animation, a blinking animation on a still character, slight hair movements. This will only be used for background characters which are able to be reused, you will not be constantly rigging characters every few episodes but approx. 5-7 animations needed.

In order to Audition for a Background Character Rigging Position, Submit one of the following (If more than one more likely to be chosen):  

-> Submit a Blinking Animation on a Still Character 

-> Submit a waving and a smile animation on a character

-> Submit a clapping animation on a character 

-> Submit a scared animation on a Character.

In order to audition for this role . . . 

Submit at least 5 designs of characters and 5 designs of props. These must be PNG files or PDF or Vector files.

 These designs must be high quality and preferred to be in 2048 x 2048 format.

 You will work with me for these, which means that shading won't be a big focus, since I will most likely shade them for you and touch them up. The characters must be expressive and unique in their own particular way, please don't steal others' art or designs for this submission.

-> Must be able to work at least 2-3 days per week 

-> Must have Discord

In order to Audition for this role..

You need to be able to manage and work with others. You also have to be able to communicate well and encourage the Script Writing team. 

The Script Writer Manager is in charge of monitoring script writers and making sure they are getting their work done, as well as accounting for everyone's progress and being able to tell if someone may not be fit for the position. 

 In Order to Audition, Submit one of the following: 

     Explain why you would be good for this role and previous experience

    Show how organized and good at planning you are, and how you are able to work with others 

What do we look for in this role? 

You need to create an alluring storytelling script that will engage the readers. We look for script writers that are able to push expectations and create a good series. We prefer our script writers to be able to create 15-minute long scripts within 1-2 months at least. Our script writers need to be able to take a long, detailed description and extend it and ease in and out of the scenes without making anything too sudden and direct, even if it takes a while for the point to get across. You also need to be able to create shocking cliff hangers and convey a characters personality throughout their lines. We already have a few script writers who will be working with you (2 script writers per episode). Since you will be working with someone else, it is preferred if you are able to work with others and communicate with eachother as you guys work. 

In Order to Audition for Script Writer Submit 1 of the following: 

 ->  A script you've made in the past or on the spot (must be 2-3 pages) 

-> Create an at most 2 page script that leaves off in a cliff hanger about two talking cats (To test your ability to use your imagination and expand your writing)
