"Dead Life/Darkest Night" (Deadline not final) is the project name of an RPG horror game I am making. This is a non profit game that is voluntary and a non paid project. This project is a work in progress and I am in need of voice actors for testing.
If your interested in a small project like this be sure to audition. I also have positions for multiple writers and even music and such. This is a simple project for fun and to try to get names out there.
There is no guarantee of success but if you feel like trying something new or just wanna try getting your name out there this is perfect for you. And who knows you may make friends.
Details of the game will be limited but to say the least it is an JRPG Horror being made on a simple engine. Story is going through a rough script to be finished. ROLES NOT FINAL AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE!

The main lead Ava Katara is the female lead of this story. Auditions for this role will be thoroughly examined for her character and additional lines may be requested.
Ava is a young woman who barely manages to keep herself fed and happy. She cares deeply for herself and her mother but no one else. All she cares about is what serves her best interest.

(In a dissappointed and distressed tone) "Where am I? W-What in the world is going on here?.."
(In a worried tone) "If Im dying in this corpse ridden hellhole Im going out on my own terms."
(In an assertive tone) "All you have done is thrown vague statements and hints! Tell me something useful!"
Cyrus is a quiet individual who hides their face from the world. They are very damaged and very tired from how the world treated them.
(Soft and quiet voice, will be filtered in post) "Brother... why do you continue to defy our father?"
(Same voice) "Father... I sense another life within these walls.. perhaps I should.. Exterminate it.."
(Same voice) "No one wants you.. no one needs you.. you will be forgot in the dirt just like all of us.."

The second lead Somber Jack, tells a story from the otherside of the light. This character has a dark and depressing past that he keeps shoved down while only showing his kindness.

(In an angered and worried tone) "If you continue on this path you will find nothing but death and misery! I'm trying to help you! T-To save you!"
A doctor in the hospital, not much else to say as this is a minor role.
(Whichever voice you think fits best) "The test results have come back.. it doesn't look good"
(Same voice) "Nurse! We need a sedative!"
(Same voice) "Ive worked in this hospital for 15 years and never seen anything like this"
A very rich and successful CEO
(Posh and Sophisticated) "Quite beautiful, art like this does make me feel a certain.. aura.."
(Same voice) "Yes I must say this has put me in quite the mood, perhaps a celebration is in order?"

The crazed nurse is a psychotic human who was driven into madness after being subjected to a life of torture. She is erratic and cannibalistic and takes pride and joy from torturing and killing others.

(Crazed voice) "HAHAHAHA! Did you see that shit?! It just popped right out!"
(In an angry but crazed voice) "I will find you!! You are in my domain! NO ONE LEAVES WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!!"
A writer always needs second opinions, alternate ideas and new ideas. As a writer I take pride in other peoples feedback bad or good. I always aim to improve.

This role is a simple role. You provide sound effects for most if not all of the game. From monsters to fire to glass shattering to thunder and beyond.
This is a role in which isn't needed but saves a lot of time.

Kraze is a psychotic brute who brutally beats and relentlessly hunts down his enemies. He is impatient, very strong and unstoppable.
(Angry and aggressive) "Where the hell did they go!? I will find you!!"
(Same voice) "Father will have our heads if we don't find them! Hurry the hell up!"
(Same voice but softer and quiet) "Tear the flesh... rip the skin.. Never shall I ever kill again.."

Codename "Brute" is one of many high level cult members. He is large, angry and very brutal. He often kills his victims slowly by breaking their bones one by one as they beg for mercy, finishing them off by ripping their heads from their bodies.
He can be very mad about small things and often threatens or even kills fellow cult members out of rage.
(In an angry and loud tone) "If you don't get your skinny skeleton finger out of face I'll snap it off!"
(In a loud and obnoxious tone) "YES! We are eating good tonight boys!"
(In an angry voice) "I can"t wait to rip you in-.. in.. Goddammit! ARGH I CAN'T GET THIS GODDAMN FOOD OUT OF MY TEETH!!"
Codename "Colt" is the leader of a brutal cannibalistic cult that actively hunts after our main character. "Colt" is merciless and evil. He hides his insane and sadistic nature under an obvious fake accent and fancy clothes.
This role is very important and will be actively monitored as it needs to be very specific. Feel free to audition multiple times!
(In a calm but intimidating tone) "Let me simplify this for you.. bring me that bitch's head on a pike or you become tonights appetizer.."
(In an annoyed tone) "The fact of the matter is I don't want some light skinned, non cannibalistic perfectly sane girl spreading her disease on my world!"
(In a calm tone) "I feel it.. the presence of light.. it disgusts me.. It must be cleansed.."
Codename "Messiah" is a mysterious role in which I cannot disclose much of without spoiling some key points. She is calm, factual and cares for all life.

(In a calm voice) "The darkness searches for you.. it longs for you.. and the light fails to protect you.."
(Same tone) "The light must not be corrupted.. for it is our only hope to fight against ruin.. against the evil that plagues these lands."
(Same tone) "We trust in you to save the light.. to defeat the darkness and save us all from the end times.."
Cultist members count as an extra role. Each cultist is batshit crazy but some of them are smarter then others. They are cannibalistic and rather deadly.
(In a crazed voice) "The light! The meat! Kill them brothers and sisters!!"
(Same voice) "Praise the darkness! All hail the darkness for it brings us flesh!"

The Oracle is a multi voiced being that represents the darkness. This role will be layered with multiple voice actors.
(In a monotone voice) "We guided you towards your goal and yet you stand here with nothing to show"
(Same voice) "YOU are the one who must make his own destiny, or face the light one last time"
(Same voice) "we praise the darkness so that it may purge the land of the light and bring us every lasting salvation, these ideals are what keeps your "cult" running."
"The Reaper" Is a demonic entity which influences the corrupted souls of this world. He is depicted traditionally standing almost 14 feet tall. His voice strikes fear into the hearts of all and mere presence gives the room a tone of darkness and death itself.
(Reapers voice will be filtered so please improvise!) "The light sickens me! I will drain it from this land and rip it all to shreds!"
"You have brought shame and failure to my name and will be severely punished!"
"My children, you insult me by not bringing honor to my name. You have one job, KILL THE GIRL! And you have all failed to do so! Do what must be done or I will have feast on your souls!"
The Preacher acts as the cults informant, he has a radio station in which he sends the word of the lord to his followers. The Cult Leader himself oversees The Preacher commanding him to inform the rest of the cult in a sort of propaganda sense.
(Preach away!) "My dear brothers and sisters! The heretics live among us! Purge them from our homes! Purge them from our hearts!"
"It is the word of our lord that we kill the light that haunts this land! Lest we be punished by the dark lord himself!"
"This shameful girl invades our lives bringing nothing but disgusting life! She must be purged from our land! Find her my friends, Sacrifice her flesh in the name of our lord!"
