This is a paid gig I am dropping $40 CAD per role that being said if you're auditioning from the USA please note: the Canadian dollar is worth less than the American dollar so you will not be getting $40 USD. (same applies to the UK as well)

High Quality Microphones: No Phones, no headset mics, please make sure the audio is clear with no background noise, XLR mics preferred but if you think your Blue Yeti can keep up then give it a shot!
Please avoid Introductions or 7 seconds of silence before an audition ex. "My name is ____ and I'm auditioning for the role of"
Have fun with it you can edit the lines slightly if it helps with your flow!
INTRO
Hello everyone its me Turple Daggers! I've been in a creative rut recently not getting much fulfillment in my art. So i decided that instead of doing Inktober or whatever I was going to make a pitch bible and I decided that it would be fun to just redesign one of my favourite games DARK CLOUD and make it in my own image and while doing this I thought it would be cool to re-write a scene from the dnd show critical role with these characters and make it a full animatic for portfolio purposes and I was like hey! why not get some VA's and put on a vocal director hat too so here we are! plus I do VA stuff occasionally so it might be nice to have a roster of VA's!

THE SHORT STORY
This is a story I wrote while recovering from my wisdom teeth removal and I showed it to some people they seemed to like it, I have never shown any of my writing online so if its cringe, its my cringe. hope it helps!
“For the first time in a while the sea salt smelt, comforting.” Ruby was in deep reflection as she floated atop her terrace overlooking the purples and pinks setting over her sea. “Oh you’re here too! How perfect!” Ruby’s silent rumination abruptly stopped by a stubby cat girl who was now struggling to climb her way onto her roof due to its steep ascent. Even with the struggle the cat had awkwardly made her way beside the genie. Despite her loud declaration just a moment ago, Xiao was now quietly stirring with her own thoughts until she broke the silence with a question “are you drinking magic?” This took Ruby off guard; it caused her to snort “I’m sorry?” She looked at the girl confused “like when I’m tired from fighting I eat food! When you get tired do you drink magic?” Ruby found this line of reasoning very amusing and responded with “yes Xiao, I’m drinking magic.” As she took another sip from her teacup. “What kind of magic?” Xiao asked. “Chai.” Ruby responded as she levitated another cup over for Xiao. The purples and pinks of the setting sky had started showing dashes of peach and darker blues had started forming overhead the winds were starting but they weren’t strong enough to cause any chill “Hey Ruby?” Xiao asked “Yes Xiao?” She responded “I have a question for you!” Ruby turned and looked at Xiao waiting for the incoming query “Have you; and I think you have because the King said you were married to him… have you ever kissed a boy?” Ruby didn’t expect this question but replied honestly “I’ve kissed a boy” Xiao's ears shot up “yeah?!” Ruby nodded and Xiao quickly followed with “what was it like?” Ruby was now even more confused. Xiao sat like she was about to hear a sermon. She was ready to observe any and all information shared to her “have you never kissed someone?” Ruby asked poorly hiding a smile. Xiao quickly jumped in “Well– now here's the thing” Ruby processing the situation she's about to be thrown into says “You seemed so popular with the boys im sorry I assumed–” Xiao interrupted again “I WAS– Ruby– I WAS Asking what it was like when YOU kissed someone that's all!” Xiao was clearly flustered “Because you haven’t done it?” Ruby said firmly but with a hint of teasing “Well, I didn’t know if it counted…” Xiao pouted “Well what was the situation?” Ruby asked and a long pause followed “...I was drowning…” Xiao replied, almost mumbling under her voice. Ruby dealing with a mix of second hand embarrassment and awe at how innocent this girl was “OH, you mean today!?” Xiao's face lit up like a tomato and tried to hide it in her shirt. “ …does it count though?” she said after a moment of recuperation for the duo “We’ll let's look at the circumstances, lip on lip contact happened,” Xiao nodded. “It’s memorable he went out of his way to save your life,” the cat's ears flattened out at that statement. It seemed the idea of saving her life really complicated everything for her. “Well,” Ruby sighed, “you know if I could do my first kiss over again I’d want it to be just like that.” Xiao's ear perked up slightly “really?”. “Yeah. It's a memory you’ll cherish forever if nothing else” Ruby said with a somber smile. “That's true! Well maybe after I wasn’t trapped, the first part was pretty scary” Xiao said feeling a little more cheerful about the whole situation “what was your first kiss like?” Ruby stopped looking at Xiao when she asked that question and looked back onto the ships at the docks then the sea, the last warm colours had faded and all that was left were the deep blues and glowing lamps scattered around the docks of Queens. “It wasn’t as romantic” there was a bitter feeling on the face of Ruby although Xiao seemed oblivious to it she kept looking with curiosity “it was a trade” Xiao looked very confused at that response, Ruby was toying with one of the rings on her finger “its a story for next time I think” Ruby lightly pinched Xiao's cheek before standing up and stretching “Well, you think things will change now, between you two?” Ruby said teasing “Well, he might have a big crush on me now?” Ruby laughed and said ““Well here's a little advice. Don’t let boys know how you feel, make them think they did something wrong, they won’t stop thinking about you! And that's how you win”” The girls just snickered together and descended back into the home.
