Danganronpa X: Hollow Dissonance is an visual-audio drama right on YouTube, which is inspired by Danganronpa. This serves as an example of a murder mystery gone wrong, with a whole new set of characters to tell the story for you. This project is dedicated to showing off all of the emotions, the best to the worst, for what went into its creation, along with recreating that classic killing game magic. Thank you for checking this project and channel out, and we, the cast and crew, hope you share this project with everyone you know!
I do NOT own Danganronpa itself or any of its products. This is a fan project and it's meant to serve for entertainment purposes only.
⌞ Project Rules ⌝
You must be 13 years old OR OLDER to audition. Anyone younger than that will not have their audition considered.
If you get cast, it is IMPERATIVE that you contact me of any illness or emergency so I won't have to contact you when you don't submit lines. You also must contact me once the situation is over so I can get you back on track!
Put as much emotion into your auditions as you can! (Don't be lazy.)
Good microphone quality is required. I don't expect you to have the best microphone possible, but make sure that there is little to no background noise, and make sure your voice is not too quiet and not too loud.
No video-file auditions. You must submit your lines in AUDIO format, preferably as .wav and .mp3, especially if you are cast!
By auditioning, I expect you to commit to this project, and I also expect you to turn in your lines before the general deadline. Though, exceptions will be given and will last however long if there is a family emergency, an emergency containing yourself, an illness, or depending on the situation.

Due to circumstances out of my control, I'm afraid I'm going to have to postpone this casting call. It won't be deleted, but I will not be looking at submissions from this call. I absolutely push the ones who submitted auditions to keep auditoning elsewhere! I will update whenever I can with new information. <3

Riro is the PROTAGONIST!
PRO: "Ree-row" (make the 'r' in 'row' sound a little like a 'd'.) "Moo-key"
Riro is a student with a passion for musical theatre. Her performances have changed the lives of many, and hers in return. She was invited to Hollow Ultimate Academy as the Ultimate Theatre Artist.
Riro is somewhat observant, a person who wouldn't be afraid to argue, but would back away at the slightest bit of danger. She's a person who likes to stay away from it all... and she can also be selfish if need be.
PITCH: Medium
(Narrating) It never really comes to a matter of life and death, does it? Well, not unless you're in the situation itself. But sometimes, people outshine themselves in those predicaments.
(Still narrating + introducing herself) I'm Riro Mukie, the Ultimate Theatre Artist. You can say I'm part of the unique bunch. I changed lives with my performances. I did the exceptional.
(Trying to make sense of the situation) It's probably just hit and miss at this point. We'll likely get an answer once we know what the hell to do.
PRO: "Van-knee She-know"
Vanni is a student that came into singing ever since he was a little kid. He hoped to write original songs and become an artist himself, but he decided it'd be better for him if he sticked with his assignments that he had to learn for his performances. Eventually, he got invited to the academy as the Ultimate Singer.
Vanni decides how he acts towards people almost immediately. If he can tell you're a good person, he'll act accordingly. If he knows you're greedy, potentially selfish, he'll act snarky, rude, and maybe downright condescending. Make sure to be on Vanni's good side!
PITCH: Medium-Low
(Responding) Killing somebody. How do *we* know none of us in this room is thinking about committing a crime already?
(Dismissing) Yeah, sure, keep talking. Whatever helps you sleep tonight.
(Introducing) It's at least worth it for right now. I am Vanni Shino. Ultimate Singer. I've seen you, actually. Aren't you...?
PRO: "Sen" (like 'send', but without the 'd'.) "Ha-koo-toe"
Sen is a student that always had a knack for pointing out the teeniest details, especially in places where it was needed most. For fun and games, in escape rooms and clue games. For seriousness, in murder cases and criminal deductions. His observations have gotten more criminals caught than anything.
Sen is quick to trying to defend himself first, but it's only he really calms down that his ability shines. Once he can get control of his situation, he'll help out the best he can... if there is no struggle. He gets frustrated easily when things aren't in his control when they want to be.
PITCH: Medium-High
(Content) Guess I gotta make myself known as well. Sen Hakuto. Ultimate Observer.
(Shouting) What’s even the whole point of this damn thing, just let us go!!!
(Stern) In summary, if you don’t want to die, and want to have the best chances at surviving… Don’t kill, and follow the rules. I hope you’ll remember this.
PRO: "E-lane Vahn"
Elaine is a student that has helped numerous organizations with her ability to collect, transform, and use data. She transforms these companies, and most of them she worked with had reach the highest end possible, and are thriving in the world.
Elaine is a leader in her soul. She comes off as a nice and endearing person who welcomes everyone she meets into her heart. She likes to guide everyone in the right direction to make sure no one is lost, and to make sure everything goes smoothly.
PITCH: Medium
(Introducing) Well, now you will. My name's Elaine Vaughn. Ultimate Data Architect. Nice to meet you.
(Breaking the tension) Oh, stop it already! Why are you trying to turn us on each other?!
(Realiziing) Oh, yeah… If only the killer is exposed, they will be… executed.
PRO: "Lahr-uh Kehl-min"
Lara is a student that made excruciatingly beautiful dresses for award shows, TV shows, movies, competitions, and more. Her ability to weave, stitch, and put together is simply outmatched, giving her a number of awards already.
Lara can grow suspicious of people fast, and will be hostile if the situation calls for it. She also does not usually like staying in the same place for long.
PITCH: Medium-Low
(Introducing) Hello, there. I'm Lara Keleman, Ultimate Dressmaker. Who are you supposed to be?
(Inviting herself) So I guess I'll join you three while I'm at it, yeah? Get to know some people...!
(Wanting to leave) I was getting bored from standing and sitting in this room.
PRO: "Ken-toe" (like 'bento', but replace the 'b' with a 'k'.) "Ren"
Kento is a student who isn't very social, just takes pride in throwing out his ideas into his novels. His works have gained the attraction and fans of many, but he never really had time to socialize with a friend.
Kento is very well-kept to himself. He doesn't like going out of his comfort zone, and will only talk to people who he thinks truly value him.
PITCH: Medium-High
(Nervous) So… what are we supposed to do…?
(Trying to keep being content) Okay. My name is Kento Ren. I’m the… Ultimate Fantasy Novelist.
(Genuine) I’m honored. That whole series is… honestly still in the works. I plan to get it done… soon. After we leave this place, anyway.
PRO: "Aye-yah-toe Loo-see-in"
Ayato focuses himself hard onto the studies of extraterrestrial planets and objects in outer space. He's made several new discoveries which are being studied at this very moment. And sometimes, he can predict if newcoming asteroids are going to strike the planet or if they're going to miss it!
Ayato can be very blunt. He's smart when he can be, and he's quick to doubt things. He won't let others get in his way if it means he has his own solution. Though, he's usually content personality-wise.
PITCH: Low
(Introducing) To make myself known, I'm Ayato Lucien, the Ultimate Astrogeologist.
(Reminiscing) I mean, that's how I'm thinking of it. All of our stuff got stolen, so we're left with nothing. All of my important equipment…
(Intrigued) So what are you going to do?
PRO: "Kay-vahn-lahren"
Kei Van is a student who absolutely crushes it went it comes to artist competitions. Her favorite way to draw a work of art is to implement abstract elements, and in doing so, brings the praise of many.
Kei Van is a fairly optimistic person, but is also quite a debbie-downer. Although, like Elaine, she likes to help people go in the right direction so that nothing worse can come out of the already-turned-bad.
PITCH: High
(Disappointed) Unfortunately, no. I don't even know where our bags went... That was the most important part of my trip here…
(Introducing) It's nice to see more faces around here. I'm Kei Van Laren. Ultimate Abstract Artist.
(Doubtful) Assuming people actually follow our directions…
PRO: "Soo-zet Tuh-kow"
Suzette is a student who dreams of defending the innocent. As her occupation as a legal assistant, she has helped lawyers achieve what seemed impossible in their eyes. Tens, if not hundreds of people have been saved by her help.
Although Suzette is a very helpful individual, she struggles at communication most of the time. She's usually seen alone, whether that be in a corner of a packed room, or just residing in her own room by herself, working on her assignments. But, she wants to learn more about interaction and she hopes the right person will teach her everything she'll need to know.
PITCH: High
(Panicked) N-No!!! It's locked! It’s…!
(Rushing) Suzette Takao, Ultimate Legal Assistant, will you leave me alone now?!
(Worryful) W-We were knocked out and now we're being told to meet here, and you're saying I shouldn't be worried?!
PRO: "Loohk Core-ay-dah"
Luke, being just 15 years old, is already a skilled player in the debate field. He has gone to state competitions numerous times, defeated the best of the best, *became* the best of the best, and had gotten an array of awards that signified his skill.
Luke is one that likes to keep to himself, but he's not afraid to speak up when he figures out something isn't what it's supposed to be. If he makes friends, he usually stays in that little circle, and doesn't like expanding it in fear of ruining the whole thing.
PITCH: Medium-High
(Joyous) *gasp* Lookie there! It’s another!
(Trying to recall) Okay. Everyone got knocked out on that train, and... well, that's the last thing I remember…
(Caught off-guard) U-Uh... Luke Koreda. Ultimate Debater-
PRO: "Win Oh-soo-me"
Wynn is a student who only recently had a passion of being a stylist, especially for theatre shows and people's studio albums. During their exquisite styling-style career, she earned awards for costume design, album cover deisgns, and more.
Wynn is a very expressive individual. They don't fear expressing feelings, and will quickly suggest ideas that come to mind. But while they're expressive, they sometimes take it a tad far.
PITCH: Medium-Low
(Ticked) ‘Should be’ doesn't cut it for me.
(Trying to have hope) Everyone we know will realize we’re missing sooner or later! W-We can just wait it out, correct?!
(Suggesting) I think we should keep an eye on the ones that have already left. Ayato, Vanni, and the whole group that left before. That should probably be our first priority, yeah?
PRO: "As-tuh-rawth Oh-yee-chee"
As a marksman, Astaroth assists with dangerous hunting jobs that no normal hunters would take down. Animals... and people. With his team's close tactic combat and his sniping ability, the team succeeds in the hardest tasks they're given.
Astaroth is a bit of an impatient fellow. He's quick to jump to conclusions, but isn't afraid to jump into discussions to get to the right answer. Along with his marksman skills, he strives to be accurate in any problem's solution... but sometimes, the impatience makes him lose the right track.
PITCH: Low
(Calling out) We need a second opinion, come over here!
(Introducing) I'm Astaroth Oichi. Ultimate Marksman. Pleased to meet you.
(Confused) The hell is a killing game?!
PRO: "Ell-ith Kuh-saw-kee"
DISCLAIMER: This character is mute! Due to this, the voice will be reflected as echo-y and more quiet than actual voices! The voice chosen will represent her past self before she completely lost her voice indefinitely.
Ellith is a student who takes inspiration, mainly from Kento, to write whatever came to mind. Her poems have moved the hearts and souls of many, and she is constantly found in public and in private writing more. Unfortunately, her award count is but of 0.
Ellith gets really excited when it comes to meeting her favorite people. She's a constant fangirl, and finds it easy to make new friends. When she makes those friends, she never wants them to leave, because they're all dear to her.

(Introducing) “My name is Ellith Kasaki. And if you're wondering, I'm also the Ultimate Poet.”
(Informing) “I can't speak. I show this to everyone so they know... just in case."
(Assuring) "I can teach you the basics sometime."
PRO: "Eat-soo-key Hi-yah-she"
Itsuki is a student who paves the way for mythologic study. Although he has studies a lot of existing mythological studies, he wrote some of his own as a way to counter the existing ones which had a confusing ending, or a twisted problem. His work got him recognized by the Academy as he was in numerous newspapers.
Itsuki likes to fit into the crowd. He doesn't really like standing out if he were in a crowded room. Now that his reputation has risen, the likeability for being more hidden had increased to him. He'd still talk to people on occasion, but he hoped the people weren't fans just wanting to talk to get a picture.
PITCH: Medium
(Inspecting) No, I hear it too. In fact, it's coming from right behind me.
(Confused, spooked) Why are there so many rules…?
(Realizing) That puts us more in a hold now…
PRO: "Oh-key-ruh Nee-you-chee"
Okira is a student whose pastry chef career has torn even the most brutal chefs apart. From winning reality shows to winning awards of his own, his dishes and pastries are nothing more than exquisite.
Okira doesn't take anything seriously. If someone he didn't know could die in front of him, it most likely wouldn't affect him. Even he doesn't know how to cope, or deal with stressful situations, because he simply doesn't believe in that. Due to these specific traits, his "unlikeability" seemed to have skyrocketed.
PITCH: Medium-High
(Disgusted) Just the thought of sleeping here terrifies me a little.
(Not taking this seriously) This is happening, I guess.
(Snarky) You were saying?
PRO: "Me-yur-ee Coy-you"
Miyuri is a natural at working with chemicals and being to identify them in any situation. Her main work is working with scientists so that none of them perish just in case an experiment or treatment doesn't go wrong. Her work with chemicals arises new formulas for cures and vaccines for treatments that are hard to come by. And in rare cases... she's called to crime scenes where gas was used, specifically as a weapon.
Miyuri has a curious mind. Even though she's intellectual, her mind raves for more knowledge. Although she pursues answers to questions, she usually gives up if she doesn't get them immediately. She doesn't like waiting around for people either.
PITCH: Low
(Realizing) I recognize this... It's sleeping gas! Everyone, get back!
(Introducing) Ah, that’s all you needed? Well, let me go first. I’m Miyuri Koyu, the Ultimate Chemical Engineer. Now you?
(Shooting down the suggestion) I’m sure everyone outside has been given the impression that we’re just studying here. Our belongings are gone too, so it’s not like we can just call for help.
