Danganronpa: Ruinous Reality (A Fanganronpa)

Danganronpa: Ruinous Reality (A Fanganronpa)

Project Overview

Overview

Welcome to Danganronpa: Ruinous Reality, a Fanganronpa! This is a project that has been in the making for a very long time, and had actually already had a casting call out before. However, we felt that after almost two years, we needed to put another casting call out, and that we may have jumped the gun a little bit. Anyway, this time around, we have full character sprites and bios, and we're asking for more than just voice actors. The story is already completely planned out, and official writing is progressing smoothly. Please audition, for both voice actors, as well as artists and editors!

Story

In the near future of 2025 Japan, a new government-funded school has opened up. Starting in 2020, the school known as Hope's Peak Academy opened in the heart of Japan, drawing students from all across the country. This school was special, in the way that you had to be scouted by the Academy itself, and only certain students ever were asked to join. The Academy only scouted students that they called "Ultimates", or people that were the best in whatever field that they were chosen for. For instance, swimming, or cooking. However, the talents could get a lot more specific than that, even up to the Ultimate Quick Sketch Artist. In 2025, Hope's Peak Academy has opened up a new over-seas branch of the school, one that isn't supposed to open until the next year. But if that's the case... Why is Atsushi Oshiro, the Ultimate Architect, along with 15 of his classmates just now waking up on a cruise-ship-turned-classroom? Are they the early pioneers for the new branch? Or... Is there a more sinister reason that they were placed on this ship?

Format

This project will be a video series, similar to that of Danganronpa: Re: Birth. The daily life will have a style very similar to that of a Danganronpa game, and the Class Trials will be a little bit different than the original. Rather than have it take place in a 360 degrees trial room, it will also be styled similarly to daily life, with a few key differences. There will, of course, be sprites, CGs, executions, and original backgrounds, as well as a few minigames during trials. There won't be many though, and there will only be a few different types.

Requirements

There are very few requirements in order to take part in this project!

1. People will be cast depending on how well their voice and energy fit the character, as well as how clean the audio quality is.

2. You must have Discord, as that is how all of the communicating will be done.

3. Have fun! Very important!

Disclaimer

There is one character (Mao Fukuda) who has already been cast. I included her in the casting call, as I wanted to show off a full cast.

There will not be multi-casting.

Here is the Discord server for anyone who wishes to join the public server! There's more information there about the characters, as well as updates on other things. https://discord.gg/vbkDZwF

Atsushi Oshiro- Ultimate Architect
closed
Unpaid
Role assigned to: Roo

Atsushi Oshiro, the Ultimate Architect,  is the main protagonist of this series. Atsushi has a relaxed demeanor about him, and doesn't let things get to him easily. While he may seem relaxed, this does not mean that he is a slacker. Instead, he thinks problems through calmly and rationally. There are times, when the situation calls for it however, where Atsushi will become much more aggressive than usual, while still using his calm wit. He believes in full transparency, and always showing your true self, above all else.

As the Ultimate Architect, Atsushi spends his time mostly in his apartment that he shares with his sister, drafting blueprints and different designs. He rarely goes to school; only just enough to keep him as an official student. This is so that he can provide for himself and his sister, as they live alone.

Atsushi has a medium-low voice. He should have a younger, yet more mature voice, such as someone who has his wits about him. His first line should have a more relaxed and carefree tone, as if he's going wherever the wind takes him, and the other two lines should be much more serious and determined. If I had to compare his voice to a canon Danganronpa character, it would be closest to Rantaro Amami, but I'd recommend not getting too hooked up on that.

  • (Relaxed) There’s no use in trying to rush the result. What will be, will be, or so I believe.

  • (Concise, Serious) I’m worried that you’re not getting my point. Wake up, listen up, and shut up. This isn’t the time to be messing around.

  • (Menacing) I don’t care who the culprit is... No matter the cost, I *will* take them down.

Kiyoshi Ueno- Ultimate ???
closed
Unpaid
Role assigned to: Purpleboy

Kiyoshi Ueno is a unique young man who refuses to share his talent with anyone. He has an antagonistic personality in quite a number of ways. It almost appears as if he's trying to be antagonistic, as he switches from being cold, to rude, to just straight-up insane. He doesn't care about anything or anyone but himself, and claims that he is superior to everyone else. Kiyoshi values talent above all else, and believes that talentless people should submit themselves to the more talented.

While Kiyoshi claims that he won't share his talent with anyone, there are a few skeptics. Some believe that he may be an amnesiac and not remember his talent at all, and some believe that he doesn't have a talent at all. Due to his personality, he's immediately suspected of being involved with the killing game in some way.

Kiyoshi has a medium to medium-low voice. There should be a fair amount of rasp in his voice, as if it's been through too much use. He sounds perpetually tired and annoyed, unless he's going on one of his crazed rants, at which point, the rasp remains, but there's much more enthusiasm. If I had to compare his voice to a canon Danganronpa character, it would be closest to a deeper Nagito Komaeda, but I'd recommend not getting too hooked up on that.

  • (Cold) Talent is absolutely everything. If you are talentless, then you have no purpose. Now, leave.

  • (Superior, Enthusiastic) Oh, you'll see... I have a talent, and it's far superior than any of yours. With my talent... I can wipe the talentless scum off the face of the Earth!

  • (Annoyed, Demeaning) So, you suspect that I'm the killer, just because I... "seem suspicious"? You need to have better reasoning than that to solve a murder.

Eriko Kita- Ultimate Cartographer

Unpaid
Role assigned to: slicer02

Eriko Kita is the intimidating yet kind Ultimate Cartographer. Eriko is a guy who on the surface, seems to be carefree, but in reality, he's mostly trying to act cool and unfazed. In actuality, he's nervous and a bit of a klutz, but he certainly means well. Eriko is fairly quick to anger, and is sensitive to certain topics, including his backstory. While he may seem unreliable, he sticks to his beliefs and always tries to help people less fortunate than he. The times where he's the coolest are actually the times when he's not trying to be cool, but he hasn't realized that yet.

As the Ultimate Cartographer, Eriko makes and revises maps of unexplored or little known areas. A couple years ago, he had a partner, the Ultimate Explorer, who he would team up with to make his maps, but something seems to have happened to her. Instead, Eriko now does the mapping *and* exploring himself, if he manages to get out at all.

Eriko has a medium-low voice with a bit of gruffness to it. He has a confident sounding voice (Aside from the second line, obviously), which rarely wavers. If I had to compare his voice to a canon Danganronpa character, it would be closest to Kaito Momota, but I'd recommend not getting too hooked up on that.

  • (Relaxed) Yeah, I've been told that I look a little scary. Try not to let that bother you.

  • (Shocked, Disbelief) A... A... A body!? You're trying to tell me that someone here actually committed murder!? There's just... No way!

  • (Defusing, Doubtful) Hey man, cool it, okay? I know you're all riled up, but to say that they were shot? Like, with a gun? It just doesn't add up. Where'd the gun even come from?

Kazue Ikeda- Ultimate Clown

Unpaid
Role assigned to: samclups

Kazue Ikeda is the strict young man who happened to become the Ultimate Clown. Kazue is a no-nonsense person who, despite his hard exterior, is truly caring on the inside. While he is strict, he does the things that he does in order to protect the others. Kazue is a natural leader, and will often take up the mantle of point-man without even thinking twice. He's reliable, but makes the mistake of talking down to people, or being too blunt by accident. When someone calls him out on it, he gets embarrassed and apologizes profusely.

Even though he is the Ultimate Clown, Kazue didn't actually want the title. Instead, he wished for a simple office job, or perhaps a higher up position. And yet, kids are naturally drawn to him. Many parents noticed this, after he became the front office aide for an elementary school, and asked him to attend their childrens parties as a clown. He agreed, since he needed the money, and despite his subpar party tricks, he is now recognized as the Ultimate Clown.

Kazue has a medium to medium-low voice that rings clear. He speaks clearly and concisely, aside from when he's taken by surprise. He should have some strictness, or even harshness to his voice, but without being rude. If I had to compare his voice to a canon Danganronpa character, it would be closest to Byakuya Togami, but I'd recommend not getting too hooked up on that.

  • (Condescending, Embarrassed) Are you *trying* to make yourself look like an idiot? *Sigh...* O-Oh, I am so sorry. M-My utmost apologies! I... Got too headstrong again, I suppose.

  • (Shocked, Annoyed) What the-!? Contrary to what you have just stated, I am not just... "Clowning around" right now. There's a dead body!

  • (Comforting) There, there. It's going to be alright. I have the utmost confidence that we will all escape this place.

Hibiki Mizushima- Ultimate Classical Musician
closed
Unpaid
Role assigned to: harena

Hibiki Mizushima is the quiet yet hostile Ultimate Classical Musician. Hibiki has a quiet demeanor that appears to be a result of his shyness on the surface, but is actually a result of his refusal to get along with other people. He's very sensitive about his talent, and will immediately soften up if it is complemented; especially if an attractive man is doing the complimenting. However, the moment his talent is insulted, he becomes hostile, insulting people with his sharp tongue and quick wit. Hibiki seems to find humor in insulting others, often snickering at his own jabs.

As the Ultimate Classical Musician, Hibiki is a master of all traditional classical instruments. His parents required him to pick up the piano when he was only three years old, and it only spiraled from there. Because of all the work he put into perfecting his talent, Hibiki is very protective of his ability.

Hibiki has a medium-high voice. His voice sounds as if he has a distant or cold personality, with a bit of hostility and bite to it. However, he can certainly sound almost cute at times. If I had to compare his voice to a canon Danganronpa character, it would be closest to a more hostile and cold Makoto Naegi, but I'd recommend not getting too hooked up on that.

  • (Embarrassed) Oh... You actually think that my talent is cool? Well, um... Thanks. I don't get that a lot.

  • (Nonchalant, Bored) Huh? Someone died? That's a shame. That means that a class trial's next, right?

  • (Cold, Hostile) Just because you don't know real talent when you hear it doesn't mean that you have the right to be ignorant. Clean out your rotting ears!

Yoshiaki Taruo- Ultimate Chemist
closed
Unpaid
Role assigned to: DanganYoung

Yoshiaki Taruo is the reclusive Ultimate Chemist who is constantly self-depreciating and has extremely low self-esteem. Yoshiaki is an eternal pessimist, always seeing things in the worst of lights. He is constantly hating on himself, believing that he doesn't deserve any friends, or hardly even to live at all. Yoshiaki believes that other people see him this way as well, often misconstruing people's words, and twisting them to fit his misguided thoughts that people hate him. Yoshiaki prefers to stay away from attention, as well as just people in general.

As the Ultimate Chemist, Yoshiaki spends most of his time alone in his room, experimenting. He comes out only a couple times a week to eat, resulting in him becoming malnourished. The amount of time that he's spent in a room full of chemicals made his hair turn pink, his eyes turn grey, and resulted in multiple burns across his face and body.

Yoshiaki has a medium to medium-high voice. His voice sounds a little bit nasally, with a small amount of rasp to it. Yoshiaki speaks without confidence, and often stutters. When he gets upset, his voice gets a bit deeper, with more rasp. If I had to compare his voice to a canon Danganronpa character, it would be closest to a less confident Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu, but I'd recommend not getting too hooked up on that.

  • (Self-Pitiful, Depressed) J-Just please leave me alone... I don't deserve to have people even simply talking to me... I'm just useless.

  • (Upset, Disgusted) Y-You all think that I'm the culprit, don't you? Your eyes…. Your staring eyes boring into me, n-not even a doubt in your mind. It's not just the evidence that c-convinced you… It's that you all hate me!

  • (Emotional, Hatred) I'm hardly even human. If you all knew the... The *shit* that I went through... None of you would look at me the same way again.

Hisoka Fujita- Ultimate Actor

Role assigned to: GT

Hisoka Fujita is the child-like Ultimate Actor. With a childlike attitude and demeanor, Hisoka is energetic and enthusiastic. He often is seen running around, rushing from one task or location to the next, in an almost whimsical way. He's sensitive like a child as well, crying or whining when things get tough. However, as an actor, he's also good at putting on a brave face and doing what needs to be done. He can switch between emotions surprisingly well, often confusing people as to what he's really feeling.

As the Ultimate Actor, Hisoka spent his childhood as a movie enthusiast, and participating in school plays, as well as with his local troupe. Even as an elementary schooler, he was an actor on the big screen, becoming a child actor. As he grew up, he never grew out of his child-like body or demeanor. Many believed this to mean the end of his acting career, but as an excellent actor, he doesn't let his body type type-case him.

Hisoka has a high voice, almost sounding like a child. Either a male or female could voice Hisoka, as long as they have the high emotions required, whether it be cheer, fear, or anything in between. If I had to compare his voice to a canon Danganronpa character, it would be closest to a younger, more boyish Aoi Asahina, but I'd recommend not getting too hooked up on that.

  • (Child-like) Wheee! Haha, look Big Bro! I'm king of the world!

  • (Shocked, Desperate) K-Killing game!? Why were we put into a situation like this...? I'm going to be killed! I know I will! Waaah! Help me!

  • (Mysterious, Dismissive) The name's Bind... John Bind. That's right! I'm gonna be playing a younger John Bind in the next reboot or whatever!

Tomohiro Yamazaki- Ultimate Polyglot
closed
Unpaid
Role assigned to: sword of swords

Tomohiro Yamazaki is the zany Ultimate Polyglot. Nonsensical would probably be the best way to describe Tomohiro, as he often says things that are completely irrational and confusing. At first, it may seem that way because he switches between languages at random, but if you actually pay attention to what he says and translate it into one language, it still doesn't make sense. While he's typically very strange, when it comes down to it, Tomohiro can be surprisingly reliable, intelligently assessing situations with a calm wit. He is a foreign exchange student from Russia.

As the Ultimate Polyglot, Tomohiro has a mastery of thirty-two languages. He doesn't like the title of Polyglot much, prefering to be called the Ultimate Linguist, as he believes that his current title downplays his abilities. There are rumors that Tomohiro is actually a foreign diplomat, serving as a translator, but there's no evidence to back up that claim.

Tomohiro has a medium to medium-high voice. He has a Russian accent, as he hails from Russia, but can sometimes slip from one accent to another when speaking in those languages. He speaks pretty quickly (not too quickly, mind you), and his voice fluctuates frequently, reflecting the zaniness in his personality. If I had to compare his voice to a canon Danganronpa character, it would be closest to a Russian, more energetic Kiibo, but I'd recommend not getting too hooked up on that.

  • (Excited, Introductory) Bonjour! Salam! Kon-nichiwa! Sawubona! Hello! Shall I go on?

  • (Stately, Confused) Not necessarily. Japanese born, Russian raised! Moi mama is Russian, otosan Japanese. Born in Japan, raised in Russia! Am I repeating myself?

  • (Proud) I'm not just any old polyglot! I know thirty-two languages, and am a complete expert in every single one! That's why I like to call myself the Ultimate Linguist.

Natsumi ???- Ultimate Track Athlete

Role assigned to: SDCHatchetfield

Natsumi is the mysterious yet familiar Ultimate Track Star. Natsumi has a 'girl next door' vibe to her that makes it all the more confusing when she refuses to tell certain things to the others. These things include her last name, her birthday, and even her blood type. She's a kind soul, but gets annoyed easily when people aren't clear or honest with themselves or others. Natsumi suffers from narcolepsy, falling asleep at inopportune moments. It never lasts for long, and doesn't happen very often.

As the Ultimate Track Star, Natsumi is a master at all track events during track and field. This includes the hundred meter dash, high jump, and hurdles, just to name a few. She's also a model student, trying her best to get into a good college to make her family proud.

Natsumi has a medium voice. She speaks clearly, and with some authority. However, she still gives off a kind and caring vibe, as if she's only ever stern out of concern for others. If I had to compare her voice to a canon Danganronpa character, it would be closest to Mahiru Koizumi, but I'd recommend not getting too hooked up on that.

  • (Motivational) You can’t keep running from your problems! Kinda weird for me to say, being like, a runner and all, but... You know what I mean!

  • (Confused, Annoyed, Bashful) Huh? Geez, you really do make no sense at all sometimes. Seriously, saying something like that to a young girl... I might get the wrong idea, you know

  • (Tired, Suddenly Enthusiastic, Embarrassed) Zzzzz... Wha-? Awake! Nope, I’m definitely awake! Was someone sleeping? *I* certainly wasn’t sleeping.

Andrea Asaka- Ultimate Fence

Role assigned to: bblackroses

Andrea Asaka is the cold beauty known as the Ultimate Fence. Andrea likes to make herself aloof from the others, acting cold or even hostile if one of them tries to talk to her. She claims that she doesn't need friends, and that they would only weigh her down. The only relationships she's interested in are business ones, where she can profit. Andrea is cold-blooded through and through, not seeming to care what happens to others. That being said, she has a soft spot for fluffy things, although she would never admit it.

As the Ultimate Fence, Andrea deals in the dark world of the black market. She showed up one day on the black market scene, and began selling and buying for ridiculous prices. No one knows where she came from, but it quickly became clear that she knew what she was doing. Her specialty is haggling, always able to get the best bang for her buck, whether it be buying or selling.

Andrea has a medium-low voice. She's constantly fed up with the people around her, so she has an annoyed quality to her voice that's almost constantly there. Either that, or she sounds distant, not caring about the people around her in the slightest. If I had to compare her voice to a canon Danganronpa character, it would be closest to Maki Harukawa, but I'd recommend not getting too hooked up on that.

  • (Cold) What do you want? Make it quick, I have some important business to attend to.

  • (Annoyed, Explaining) No, of course I don't kill people. Rather, I'm nearby if a... Tragic accident strikes. Fresh organs sell for the best prices, after all.

  • (Explaining, Snarky) I have no need for friends in the competitive world of the black market. Of course, making enemies doesn't help either. Why don't we have a completely neutral relationship, where I don't talk to you, and you *certainly* don't talk to me, okay?

Rikuto Hashira- Ultimate House Flipper
closed
Unpaid
Role assigned to: ArtimmissVA

Rikuto Hashira is the simplistic Ultimate House Flipper that took the world by storm. Rikuto is a somewhat normal inclusion, when compared to everyone else on the ship. She's kind, passionate, and loyal above all else. She takes extreme value in friendship, and absolutely despises betrayal. She believes that everyone should be included and given second chances, sometimes to a fault. Rikuto is a generally happy and energetic person, trying to always see on the brighter side of life. Not much gets her down, and she always tries to get people to match her cheerfulness, sometimes causing annoyance.

As the Ultimate House Flipper, Rikuto spends her time, well... Flipping houses. She takes older, more run-down homes, and flips them for a profit. However, the profit part isn't exactly true. She instead chooses to use whatever she makes from flipping houses, and gives the money to different charities, only taking what she needs to live at the bare minimum. She has her own extremely popular TV show as well.

Rikuto has a medium voice. She sounds like a fairly average girl, with plenty of confidence in her voice. She usually sounds pretty energetic. If I had to compare her voice to a canon Danganronpa character, it would be closest to Kaede Akamatsu, but I'd recommend not getting too hooked up on that.

  • (Adamant) Friends don't leave other friends behind. That's non-negotiable!

  • (Excited, Happy) We should totally team up sometime! You can be the one to design and build the house, and I'll take care of all the interior decor. It'll be the team-up of the century!

  • (Desparate, Upset) Listen to her! Please, you have to hear her out! You can't... You can't just abandon her when she needs you the most. That's... That's just messed up!

Mao Fukuda- Ultimate Trivia Expert

cast offsite

Mao Fukuda is the bubbly Ultimate Trivia Expert. Mao is a cheerful airhead who often forgets where she is, what she's doing, and sometimes even who she herself is. Despite this, she doesn't worry about it too much, claiming that it's just due to having so many random facts stuffed into her brain. Mao often spits out random facts that loosely pertain to the situation or conversation. A couple years ago, Mao was admitted to a mental ward due to a breakdown, but when brought up, she changes the subject or pretends it didn't happen. Every once in a while, she switches to a serious and monotone person, but immediately switches back as if nothing happened.

As the Ultimate Trivia Expert, Mao competed in 'Geo Party', the biggest trivia gameshow, and became the "most winningest gameshow contestant in history". She made it to one hundred episodes, but due to what some speculate may have been the pressure, Mao had a mental breakdown live on her hundredth episode, bringling an end to her streak.

Mao has a medium-high to high voice. She's usually very cheerful and energetic, but spaces out a lot due to thinking about random things. She sounds pretty cutesy. If I had to compare her voice to a canon Danganronpa character, it would be closest to Ibuki Mioda, but I'd recommend not getting too hooked up on that.

  • (Explaining, Apologetic) I have all this useless trivia floating around in my head, making it hard to remember things. Sorry 'bout that!

  • (Bubbly, Excited) Ooh, I bet I can name ten cheeses in under five seconds! Ready? Go! Swiss, Cheddar, Provalone, Munster, Brie, Pepper-jack, Mozzarella, Parmesan, American, Gorgonzola! Did I do it!?

  • (Unemotional, Distant) It doesn't matter. Nothing matters anymore. Don't you get it? No one is coming for us. The only thing we can do now is save ourselves.

Kano Sasaki- Ultimate Accountant
closed
Unpaid
Role assigned to: deleted149306

Kano Sasaki is a shy gentle giant, and the Ultimate Accountant. Kano is a very kind soul, without a single mean bone in her body. She may be intimidating due to how tall she looks, but she's extremely self-conscious about that fact, often apologizing for it profusely. She's also quite clumsy, a fact which she also apologizes for. In short, she apologizes a lot. Despite the fact that she's constantly saying sorry, Kano knows that she can't help it, and that she should be more proud of who she is. Sadly, she is a shy person, and although she wishes to be more confident, she finds it hard.

As the Ultimate Accountant, Kano works in a hospital, balancing the books. She was scouted to work there after a doctor took her under her wing, after seeing her working at a fast food restaurant. Kano enjoys being able to just hunker down and do something that she's good at, and often gets engrossed in her accounting; something that most other people would call boring.

Kano has a medium-high voice. Due to her shyness, she has a softer voice, and tends to shy away from the spotlight. At times, her voice is shaky, but typically, it's just soft and more quiet. If I had to compare her voice to a canon Danganronpa character, it would be closest to a more shy Sonia Nevermind, but I'd recommend not getting too hooked up on that.

  • (Apologetic) I'm sorry! Really, I am! People usually react that way after seeing me and all my... Height.

  • (Sad, Slightly Angry) Gugugu... I hate having to be ashamed of who I am. That's just not the way that people are supposed to behave! People should be more confident!

  • (Stately, Dejected) I've learned to track statistics after all my time with numbers. I've spent so many hours looking at them, logging them, and making calculations, that it just sort of developed. Therefore, I can say with extreme confidence that our chances of getting out of here are close to zero! Wait, that's a bad thing...

Chikage Aihara- Ultimate Activist

Role assigned to: Ariana Rosario

Chikage Aihara is the foulmouthed Ultimate Activist. Chikage is a foreign exchange student from The United States of America, but created a Japanese name for herself in order to fit in more. Chikage is extremely loud and foul-mouthed, never missing the opportunity to insult someone or make an innuendo if one arises. She knows that she isn't pleasant, and frankly doesn't care. In fact, she doesn't actually give a fuck about anyone or anything aside from how it may benefit her. She's rude, she's crude, and she loves it.

As the Ultimate Activist, Chikage puts up a front of being a kindhearted person. However, when she's not in front of a ton of people, keeping up her public image, she lets the façade fall. The only reason why Chikage is an activist is to become famous; a goal that she's extremely dedicated towards, even losing her arm during a protest. If only she actually cared about what she was advocating about...

Chikage has a medium voice. She's loud and harsh, even just in a normal conversation. She has a flare for the dramatic as well, often doing "bits" for attention. If I had to compare her voice to a canon Danganronpa character, it would be closest to a more rude Akane Owari, but I'd recommend not getting too hooked up on that.

  • (Nonchalant) Midgets, little people... Who gives a fuck!? It's not as if I actually *care* what those creepy freaks are called!

  • (Comedic, Upset) Hey, can someone give me a hand? Ah? Ah? Get it? Anyone? (Sigh...) Goddammit, that was a top tier joke, and you all fucking know it!

  • (Demeaning, Enthusiastic) It's called "being an attention whore", okay? I know that *I'm* one, but you're clearly in denial. Embrace the inner whore!

Rei Igarashi- Ultimate Mixologist

Role assigned to: Dezzy Lou

Rei Igarashi is the flirty Ultimate Mixologist. Rei likes to search for the most level-headed and coolest person in the room, and make them fall madly in love with her. She loves to flirt, but if another man initiates the flirting, she won't even give them the time of day. She likes to be in charge, but she also loves to play the damsel in distress, just to attract the attention of whoever she has her eye on. Surprisingly, Rei swings both ways, but she doesn't act nearly the same way with women. Rei does have the ability to turn the charm off sometimes, and can be strangely helpful.

As the Ultimate Mixologist, Rei works at the same place that she lives: A bar. The bartender let her and her mother stay there, after they wound up homeless when Rei was young. She began helping out around the bar, and the bartender picked her up as an apprentice. Rei's official title is the Ultimate Mixologist because it wouldn't quite be legal for her to be a bartender. She's well known for making delicious alcoholic beverages despite never having tasted a drop of alcohol; in fact, she hates it and the effect it has on people.

Rei has a medium to medium-low voice. Her voice is usually sultry and seductive, trying to lure men in. She speaks a little more slowly as a result, lingering on certain words. When excited though, she quickens her speech, and drops the seductive voice. If I had to compare her voice to a canon Danganronpa character, it would be closest to a more seductive Kirumi Tojo, but I'd recommend not getting too hooked up on that.

  • (Seductive) Hey there, sweetie. Can I have a minute or two of your time? I promise I don't bite. Well... Maybe a little.

  • (Annoyed, Belittling) Sister, I don't know what kind of relationship you have with him, but he obviously doesn't know you. Lay off him, please. He's claimed.

  • (Obsessive, Excited) I've never been treated this way before! It's... Refreshing! First you saved me, and then you treat me like trash? More! More! Keep going! Keep going!

Nariko Kaneki- Ultimate Hairdresser

Role assigned to: thekagepro24

Nariko Kaneki is the aesthetically-challenged Ultimate Hairdresser. Nariko tries her best to embody... Some sort of aesthetic. Sometimes it's goth, sometimes it's punk, or it could be emo or rocker. Either way, she actively is wanting to be unique, and embraces her inner Chuunibyou to do so. Unfortunately for her, she often breaks character, slipping from her strange antagonizing Chuunibyou personality to her more energetic and memey real one. In reality, she's pretty fragile, and doesn't have much confidence in herself.

As the Ultimate Hairdresser, Nariko cuts and styles people's hair in many unique and crazy ways. It's what she really loves to do, but she isn't all that confident in her ability. Due to that, she's constantly doing crazier and crazier things with other people's hair, even if they come in for just a simple haircut, in order to achieve the "perfect hair style".

Nariko has a medium-low voice. She tries to sound sinister and dark a lot of the time, but it rarely ends up actually coming across as so. When she breaks character, she sounds fairly normal, but with a slightly deeper voice than what most girls have. If I had to compare her voice to a canon Danganronpa character, it would be closest to Celestia Ludenberg without her accent, but I'd recommend not getting too hooked up on that.

  • (Shocked, Displeased) Wh-Who do you think you are!? You can't just say whatever you want like that! I might be fragile, you know?

  • (Mock Sinister) Kehehe... You've fallen into my trap. My dark trap that takes you... Swallows you,,, And spits you back out like the vermin you are!

  • (Confused, Enthusiastic) I have a conflicting aesthetic. It's kind of a cross between goth, punk, rock, and a few others sprinkled in. Whatever it is, it's L-I-T LIT!

Monosame- Captain

Role assigned to: sethfuzzy

Monosame is the ruthless shark captain of the ship that Atsushi and the others wake up on. He speaks as if he's the captain of a pirate ship, and makes as many puns about the ocean as he can. He has a gruff voice in the medium-low to low range, barking commands or making strange jokes. He's no-nonsense, unless he's the one being nonsensical, wanting the students to focus solely on the killing game. He isn't very upfront about the circumstances surrounding the killing game however, typically trying to change the subject.

  • (Welcoming, Angry) Ahoy, ya landlubbers! There will be no slackin' off tolerated on me ship, ya got that? Now get back ta' killin' one another!

  • (Cheerful, Pissed) Yarharhar! This is goin' along *swimmingly*, don't ya think? Eh? Ya don't like my puns? Off th' walkin' plank with ya! Off!

  • (Nervous) Wh-Whaddya think yer doin' there? Don't be gettin' any sudden ideas, lass. Th-This killin' game is just gettin' started, ya know?

This position is for people who want to be sprite artists as a part of the project! We currently have half-body base sprites for all of the cast, and most of them all have full-bodies, but we still need a few more full-bodies. Additionally, each of the characters need different positions, as well as sprite edits for different emotions. I will be casting multiple sprite artists, so you will certainly not be doing all this by yourself. Please link some examples of your previous sprite work below, in as close of a style to the traditional Danganronpa style as possible. Thank you, sprite artists are very crucial!

This position is for people who want to be CG artists as a part of the project! I will be casting multiple CG artists, so you will certainly not be doing all this by yourself. Please link some examples of your previous CG work (or something similar) below, in as close of a style to the traditional Danganronpa style as possible. Thank yo, CG artists are very crucial!

Please link some examples of your previous Background work below, in as close of a style to the traditional Danganronpa style as possible. Thank yo, Background artists are very crucial!

I will likely be casting multiple Execution artists, so you will not be doing all this by yourself. Please link some examples of your previous Execution work (or something similar) below, in as close of a style to the traditional Danganronpa style as possible. Role assigned to: SnivyGohan

This role is for people who wish to help in putting the videos all together, to make a coherent project and story. This would be assembling everything to look similar to an actual Danganronpa game! (Without the playability, of course) Don't worry about the class trials, as they will likely be more simplified in the final product. I will be casting multiple video editors, so you will certainly not have to do it all alone. (I will also be learning to become a video editor for this project.) Thank you, video editors are very crucial to this project!
