Izo is an analytical and smart boy, but often is held back by his obsession with planning ahead and his rigidity against spontaneity. As the Ultimate Chess Player, Izo is skilled with strategy but has trouble thinking on his feet. He is also incredibly close to his loved ones and tries to protect them. Izo is the protagonist of Danganronpa: No Escape.

(murderer reveal) Dios mio, what the hell, man? That's seriously messed up. I know we were threatened, but jeez...

(a bit wistful and kind of sad) Everyone says that I'm such a good actor they never know when I'm telling the truth, but I always try to be honest. As soon as the cameras aren't rolling or I'm off the stage, everything I say is true to the best of my knowledge.
