Danganronpa. Game Over
Project Overview
Game over is a visual novel style crossover between some of the most iconic characters in gaming, such as Sonic, Mario and Phoenix Wright, as they're trapped in their old high school and forced to play a deadly game of despair.
For auditions, you don't need a discord or anything like that, but please include one as a I might make a server in the future. Also if you have any experience with game design please include it in your audition, I would immensely appreciate the assistance.
One last thing, don't feel tied to Canon. Do whatever you want with the accents, range and vocal patterns, as long as they match the charachter.

Voice Actor
An android made to resemble Mario, Mono-mario is the school grounds keeper of Hopes peak and the host of the killing game. He claims to not want to do this, but if that's the case why doesn't he stop? Can he stop?
Mono-mario should sound sincere in his delivery. He shouldn't be over the top like monokuma. So try to sound more normal, like a tour guide or teacher.

Sonic is the main protagonist of the story. Trapped I his old high school, forced into a death game, he will have to face despair he's never faced before.
For reference for his voice, look at Roger Craig Smith or Ben Shwartz's portrayals of the character.

Mario as the ultimate hero has a strict moral code, and sees the killing game as downright evil. Hopefully this sence of justice doesn't bring about his end.
An Italian accent is optional. Go either the Charles Martinet or Chris Pratt route. Whichever works better for your voice.

No ones really sure what sans thinks of the killing game. Does he like it? Does he hate it? He just seems to be very neutral about it all. One thing we do know however; he loves being a general annoyance yo anyone and everyone he can.
Sans should be a more laid back character. He has quite the deep voice so go for something close to his actual voice.

Compared to his brother, Papyrus is a lot more extravagant. He claims that he will "vanquish this unknowm feind and save you all!!" Will he? Who's to say. It'll certainly be fun to watch though.
Don't be afraid to go all out on Papyrus. Be extravagant. Be manic. Be a little bit mad. Really go for it.

Similar to Mario, Phoenix sees the killing game as evil. He however tries to lead the group to resist the temptation to murder. Hopefully he is successful in this endeavour.
For Phoenix, give him a commanding, but reassuring tone, similar to Luke Skywalker or Captain America.

Not alot to say about Samus unfortunately. She acts as one if the more calm and collected players, mostly keeping to herself to see who's the most trustworthy of the group.
Consider a vocal performance similar to black widow or princess leia.

Unlike everyone else, William ses no issue in the killing game. In fact he's excited to play. As an expert in murder, he'll certainly be an asset in trials and an interesting one to watch.
For William, cosider Mark Hamils Joker, but a little more sultry if that makes sence. Alternatively, look at Jhin from league of legends.

Being no stranger to games of distrust, red understands that murder is inevitable. This mindset will put him at odds with Phoenix and Mario, which could cause intense cracks within the group.
Red should be calm, collected, but also assertive. Think L from death note or Byakuya from the original danganronpa.

Flynn ,as a marine, is one of the most commanding players in the game. Despite this, he isn't strict or authoritarian, rather he motivates people, especially Issabelle , to keep their heads up.
Flynn should be boisterous but sincere, think of like Brick from Total Drama or Nekomaru Nidai from Danganronpa 2.

Issabelle is a shy, introverted woman who mostly keeps to herself. She's only really seen with Flynn, never on her own. This co-dependancy on him could have drastic consequences for both Flynn and Issabelle.
For Issabelle, a higher pitched voice would be ideal, like gangle from TADC.

Being the ultimate theif, Sly has plenty of experience with great escapes. This however isn't your average kidnapping. He'll have to try a lot harder than normal to get out. Surely he'll be able to. Right?
I don't have any reference material for Sly. Try making him sound sound a little slippery and cunning.

Like Phoenix, Peely tries to convince everyone to not murder. Unlike Phoenix however, he does this by keeping everyone's morale up ensuring that no-one is drawn to murder.
Peely can go two different ways in terms of voice. You can go more party animal, like Geoff from Total Drama, or more smooth heartthrob, like Flynn Rider from Tangled. Choose whichever works for you.

One of the younger players, cuphead actually isn't that phased by the killing game. After all he's walked through hell and beaten up the devil himself. Why would be scared of a little death? Don't worry Cuphead. You'll understand soon enough.
You can give cuphead a more rubber-hose voice if you want, but don't feel like you have to.

Despite looking like a teenager, mega man is actually one of the oldest players. That wisdom and his general intellect will make him a huge asset in trials.
Megaman should have a slightly monotone quality to his voice, but it shouldn't be completely robotic. Consider the vocal performance of Zane from Ninjago for reference.

Kratos seems to have done this all before, but we don't really know. What you need to know about him is that he's Headstrong, brash and not afraid to challenge people he doesn't agree with.
He should have a deep voice and a condescending tone. Like Duncan from Total Drama but in a lower octave, if that makes sence. Keep in mind that this is the younger kratos, not the older version seen in ragnarok.
