Danganronpa Dispear/Hope (or DD/H) is a satirical take on a fan Danganronpa game, disguised as a normal, "high-quality" project using it's voice acting work and visuals. The game will be created via RPG Maker MV (the classic). We love me some crack fangans.

DO NOTE: Theres a chance i might change the fangan format from a game to an audiovisual/video series, if youre auditioning be prepared for that major change

The "low quality" aspect is typically just the dialogue, pacing, and writing. As you can tell, that excludes voice acting. So please do your best. U gotta push through the god awful dialogue. You got this. I'm here for you. shhh <3

There are plans to have two chapters max. If im not burnt out by the 2nd chapter then maybe ill let it get up to 6...... seven. ha ha ha ha ha. nevermind theres absolutely no reason for a fangan to have 7 chapters

Audition Rules: (Offsite Work)

  1. Drop your discord in your audition, those who don't will have their auditions ignored (sorry)

  2. Be 15 or older. Preferably state your age in your audition.

  3. Have a good/decent mic with little to no background noise. (With an exception for the role Ara Yokotobi, the Ultimate File)

  4. Some roles may require knowledge of how to let out (specifically visceral) screams. Please read the lines thoroughly before auditioning.

  5. optionally, use recording softwares that let you save and export as .ogg / vorbis audio files as RPGMV only accepts that kind of audio format. if not i dont mind manually converting it

Additionally: This is not a serious project, and i advice staff to not take it seriously as well.

After getting casted, you'll be added to the behind-the-scenes discord. An official server will be linked as well. PS I'm a solo dev doing all of the visuals/scripting so be nice to me man

PREMISE!!!!!!

You play as Wanna Tu, the Ultimate Indecisive Person, who goes with the worst possible decision you could EVER make in all of fiction: enrolling into Hope's Peak Academy to become the protagonist for Danganronpa V4. "It was between that or Akademi High."

And then..... as if things couldn't get any worse..... she was met with an unexpected entrance exam that she ultimately fails after being deemed too badly written of a character... and also because she took too long to fill out the forms :(. Too bad. oh and shes sent to Writing Is Peak Academise for her sins (which is an evil-er but also more intellectual-er Hope's Peak Academy if you couldn't tell by the name.)

She meets other annoying and badly-written characters. They're also called "Rejects". sounds fun rigjt.

That's the premise. It's bound to change i think. not too much.

Bina is the younger sister of Tari Shikuma, and a Writing Is Peak graduate. They're both geniuses, but Bina's love for Boys Love overpowers her brain power. She was promised an anime adaptation of her favorite BL manga, I Got Hit By A Car And Got Reincarnated As A Banana Leaf The Dark Prince Eats Out Of Every Special Occasion if it meant she spectated and assisted with the Writing Is Peak Academise killing game, and treats the entire thing like it's a new season of Love Island. Bina is blunt and she never stops running her mouth, even worse considering her voice is 2x louder than the average person's.


Bina's voice is feminine, high pitched, reminiscent of a child's, and is on par with the sound of scraping your nails against a chalkboard.

Jane is a Writing is Peak graduate, and unlike Bina she doesn't appear to be related to anyone in the cast. She's a quiet lady who talks through a creepy hand-painted marionette, "Orion". As Bachekuma's favorite assistant, she's assigned to take time out of her day monitoring the place whenever he isn't around. Whether it be through the security cameras, or actually roaming around in person. Not to mention, she's a huge clean freak, and only raises her voice to lash out at those who dare trash the halls of Writing is Peak. Her motives for working for Bachekuma is unknown.


Jane has a young feminine voice, but her voice is in a higher pitch when she talks through Orion. She has a noticeable southern accent.

For an assassin, she's surprisingly cool-headed and pacifistic. She mostly keeps to herself. Pei also turns down any opportunity to kill the others in the killing game. Though, this leads to people assuming she lied about her Ultimate. The bigger theory claims that she had a change of heart. She now claims to be the Ultimate Oil Painter instead, and genuinely gets upset when her Assassin title is brought up.
