Project Overview
In this Dangan Ronpa audio drama parodying the Scream TV series, teenager Komaru Naegi finds herself caught in deadly old family drama when a mysterious masked killer targets her and her friends. It's up to Komaru to find out who this killer is and what they're after before it's too late.
This is a silly project for fun--try your best, but we want everyone to have fun with it! We encourage you to try for all the roles regardless of gender. Knowledge of either series is helpful, but not a requirement,.

Miu Iruma (Pronounced: Mew Ee-roo-mah) is a flirty and crass young woman who has an obsession with sex. Despite her crude attitude, she’s incredibly insecure and has fierce abandonment issues.

A loner and emotionally subdued, Maki Harukawa (Mah-key Ha-roo-kah-wah) lost her best friend Komaru to the popular crowd. She is very close to her space-enthusiast and tech friend Kaito Momota. After an embarrassing video of hers goes viral, she starts talking to Komaru again.
[cautious] “So trust no one, Kaede. Or you’ll lose. Got it?”
[threatening] “Well, unlike Kaito, I’m not just all talk. I always follow through with my decisions.”

Kaito Momota (Kai-toh Mo-mo-tah) is Maki’s closest confidante and is creative, brilliant, and tech-savvy (he speaks 4 languages, but don’t worry, you don’t have to...probably). He has a great sense of humor. He is extremely interested in serial killers.
[determined] “We just gotta work together. If we cooperate, we’ll make it out of here alive.”
[optimistic] “The impossible is possible, all you gotta do is make it so!”
[accusing] “Both of you are cowards. You never speak the truth or show your true face. Smiling, putting on a mask, never saying what you really think…”

Tsumugi Shirogane (Pronounced: Tsoo-moo-ghee She-roh-gah-nay) A nerdy and smart girl who runs a true crime podcast and is obsessed with unsolved mysteries. She arrives in town once she hears of the murders and intends to feature them on them on her show. While she originally just interviews the students about the murders, she becomes more invested with their personal struggles.
[understanding] “I believe you. You’ve been risking yourself to protect everyone.”
[thoughtful] “I want to show respect for the original works, so I don’t like treating them carelessly.”
[reserved] “You’re right...There’s no point complaining. Let’s all just do what we can.”
