Dalphy and Vera (Indie webseries)
Project Overview
Dalphy and Vera is an original, experimental, indie animated webseries project developed by Inky Dreams Studios, a small team of amateur online artists and creators. We plan to release the series on YouTube and Newgrounds, alongside comics and additional content for platforms like Twitter, Instagram, Webtoon, and more in the future.
We also plan to make more projects.
The series is an absurd comedy centered around three duos with very different personalities and dynamics, following the chaotic situations, disasters, adventures, and supernatural problems they get themselves into.
Dalphy and Vera, the main duo, are two toxic and incompetent friends in their 20s who try to act as adults but constantly turn simple everyday situations into complete chaos.
Phoebs and Riley are two geeky teenage boys always searching for fun and get into dumb situations and dangerous, epic adventures while trying to prove they’re cooler and more capable than people think.
Joy and Shings are an otherworldly couple constantly involved in supernatural situations, with Joy, the ghost of the duo, leaning toward chaos and evil while Shings tries to bring out the good in her.
The show mixes surreal humor, edgy comedy, episodic adventures, and occasional character-driven storytelling and development.
At the moment, we already have 5 episode scripts completed, including a pilot, as well as a full show bible/character guide covering the cast, world, and future plans for the series.
We are currently looking for animators, artists, writers and people who can help with the account's social media. Since this is an indie passion project, the project is currently unpaid and will probably stay that way.
By joining the project, you also agree not to publicly post spoilers, leaks, unreleased material, or behind-the-scenes content without permission beforehand.

(Our Twitter account is currently somewhat inactive and outdated, we're doing an overhaul, as i said, we're also looking for contributors interested in helping with social media content such as writing/drawing comics, illustrations, ideas, shorts, promotional material, and general posts for the project.)
