Crochet Hammers
Project Overview
Crochet Hammers in fact is a part of Fanshackle, by which I mean Fan part of Ramshackle.
Currently Ramshackle itself isn't a series, neither is Crochet Hammers, even though I'd want to make short episodes of it as a fanwork. I know few people who are interested in my work, but so far... it's hard to start.
Thanks to me CH may have strange vibes, but I hope it will never actually rot as me... Oh well, what am I talking about?
Crochet Hammers is a town full of people who are skeptic to magic, even though they're surrounded by it. Some do believe, and others are neutral about it.
CH is surrounded by forest, has a railways outside of town, and... mountains, somewhere. People who believe in magic and use it in their daily life live there. Wizards, mages... Good or evil.
This is also why it's possible to find some magical trinkets around the town.
Crochet Hammers is supposed to be chill, except the day when everyone is trying to break everything in specific area of town, or just fight each other. A planned common hysteria, you may call it that. Not everyone needs that event, so not everyone goes there.
Well good luck living in that town. Just an average weird place, isn't it...

This is a trickster role. (?)
Kind shopkeeper, a nice guy but a bad(?) father. Honestly he isn't mad at his son, but still treats him like a stranger. Married, happy with his wife, they usually get along very well.
The place where he works, usually we call it trinket shop, is just a shop full of things. Any things! Yes, any things. There's one fact about Cup - he steals half of these from all around the town and still manages to sell it. Mischievous? Perhaps.

I'll be honest with you, I don't know what this thing does either!
(Slight sarcasm?) I can't be late for my work, I'm the main figure here. I mean, I could as well close it. But here am I, as always!
What would you like... oh, that. That's... not cheap. I hardly even know if we have it in stock.
That's the son. A nice guy as well, has almost no grudges against his parents, except little things, usually the reason is his father. They have a strangely normal relationship, as a parent and a child, the only thing is father treats him like a stranger. Quite literally, always jokes about not being his father, and tries to ignore the fact it's true.
About Melon himself, he likes nature. He has better relationship with his mother who has a garden, and they can take care of plants and trees together, when Melon has a spare time. He usually helps his father with the shop, that includes as work with merchandise, so theft. He was taught to steal things for the shop, and got pretty good at it. Later in the future he will start trying to fight the habit of stealing everything.

If you want to light a bonfire you need to first make sure it won't cause a bigger fire. It's common sense.

Mother told me I used to mistake animals for other animals. Can you believe it? I don't remember anymore.
Supportive mother and wife. Married her childhood friend not long ago when they met again after separation. She dreamed to be a pilot, she then was a pilot for a while, but had to abandon one duty for another, because she had a child. She doesn't regret it, unlike her husband. But she understands him as well, so they don't fight about it. She is the one who talks to their son normally, listening to his worries and things he has to say.
She has a garden where she spends most of the time, because that's what she chose to do.

(With the slightest hidden sadness at the first sentences.) It will all be fine in the end. Once I didn't believe it myself. But then everything changed!
Family is not a burden if you love them. I have my garden and my memories to help me remember everything about Elliot and son. Although Elliot doesn't visit the garden that often.
I love stories about pilots, being able to soar in the sky is wonderful! I experienced it once... But had to come down to earth again.
