Corpse Party: Sweet Sachiko’s Hysteric Birthday Bash DUB
Project Overview
Hello my fellow Casting Call Club workers! I hope you are all staying safe and healthy during this uncertain time. Today I am re-introducing a loved series of mine that I would love to dub over with fellow editors, directors, and voice actors! I've lost communication with almost all of the previous voice actors for the Tortured Souls Dub, which means unfortunatly, I will have to recast.
I already have the roles of Mayu, Sachiko, Naomi, and Kizami casted, so they will not be on this casting call.
I am in progress of writing the scripts already, I am 1/3 done with the episode 0 script. It will be released as soon as possible to ensure that the voice actors have plenty of time to complete their lines.
What IS Corpse Party?
Gameplay:
Corpse Party is a linear horror monster adventure game with some role-playing elements. It is played in a third-person view, top-down perspective. Players are tasked with exploring the haunted school grounds for a means of escape. To fulfill this task, characters must interact with the environment and surroundings such as picking up objects, talking to other characters, and inspecting documents while avoiding enemy-like entities.
The game's story is split into five chapters, each focusing on different characters and featuring multiple endings that are achieved based on the player's in-game decisions: a "True Ending" required for the game's progression; and several "Wrong Endings" that are unlocked when the player performs events irrelevant to the main storyline. Characters also possess hit points (HP), which measure how much damage they can take before dying, in some instances leading to a wrong ending. As players progress through the game, they will unlock ten optional "Extra Chapters", vignettes that focus on the game's side characters and expand the storyline. - Wikipedia.com
Setting and Plot BEFORE SSHBB:
The plot of the Corpse Party series concerns a group of Japanese high school students who, after celebrating their school's culture festival, are telling ghost stories and perform a ritual. The ritual is supposed to make them feel closer to each other as one of the classmates is moving away. A sudden earthquake transports them to a dilapidated schoolhouse in an alternate dimension that is haunted by the ghosts of people who have been trapped there. The main playable character is Satoshi Mochida, a kind-hearted high school student who is teased by his classmates for his cowardly nature. Three of the other characters are students from Satoshi's class: Naomi Nakashima, Satoshi's childhood friend; Yoshiki Kishinuma, an intimidating yet good-natured student; and Ayumi Shinozaki, the class representative. Rounding out the group is Yuka Mochida, Satoshi's younger sister. The game's antagonist is the ghost of a little girl in a red dress who seeks vengeance for her wrongful death.
It all started when the little girl in the red dress, (Sachiko Shinozaki) attended Heavenly Host as a student. Her mom is the school nurse, (Yoshie Shinozaki) and is very good friends with the principal. One day Yoshie was walking down the stairs about to leave the school when the principal showed up and began acting differently. He accidentally pushed Yoshie down the stairs, Immediately breaking her neck when she hit the bottom. Sachiko happened to see this and tried to run away, but the principal grabbed and strangled her before she could tell anyone. He then felt so guilty that he committed suicide by jumping off the roof. Soon after, Sachiko used the gym teacher as some sort of toy and commanded he helped her kill 3 children from the school, while also acting like one of them. (Ryou Yoshizawa, Tokiko Tsuji, and Yuki Kanno). He did this because he is terrified of her. Soon after he killed himself because he didn't want to live with what he had done. Yoshie was telling Sachiko that there weren't enough people with her spirit in Heavenly Host and that she was lonely, this caused Sachiko to form the "Sachiko Forever" charm to bring people in for her mother. Soon Sachiko began doing it for fun and not for her mother anymore, her mother became very worried about her and pleaded for her to stop but she does not listen. Thus being Corpse Party. - Wikipedia.com
Setting and Plot of SSHBB:
On the day of Sachiko's birth and death, the curse on her weakens and she gets 24 hours to celebrate her birthday as someone closer to the girl she was before her death. She uses the timeloops as established in Corpse Party: Book of Shadows to force all survivors at that point to participate in activities she has set up. Given it's either that or die horribly again, something all are aware that they've already experienced but can't remember in full, they go along with her demands. The game features almost all characters from the previous games and some new ones. While a pseudo-horror spin-off at best, it is part of the storyline, setting up a few details to prepare for Corpse Party: Blood Drive.
As with Corpse Party: Book of Shadows, there is only one extra chapter. This extra chapter takes place during the previous game and is more conventional horror. It tells of Yoshiki's and Ayumi's encounter with four students from Sugatani Senior High School, notably Azusa Takai. - Wikipedia.com

Hello, CCC- To follow up with the script mention, I have finished the first script. It is around 35 pages long (yeah, that's pretty long!). For future purposes, since this doc was so long, I will be splitting it up into sections (of two or three probably) to make the work load easier for the voice actors. After all, each chapter is almost an hour and a half each, the prologue only being a half hour long. I am now going to begin to add more roles to audition for, so please continue to check this Casting Call! I will most likely be adding new roles every day until further notice. I can't wait to hear your spine-chilling auditions! -Lindsay Crafter

Satoshi Mochida (持田 哲志 Mochida Satoshi?) is a student of Kisaragi Academy Senior High School's classroom 2-9 and one of the five original survivors of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
Satoshi is kindhearted by nature, often willing to go the extra mile for those he cares for. Ironically, Satoshi is also a bit of a coward, and was highly reluctant to take part in the ritual that placed him and his peers at Heavenly Host Elementary School. A bit of a blockhead, Satoshi is blissfully unaware of the crushes multiple girls in his group of peers have for him, which never sees further development as everyone becomes more preoccupied with surviving the horrors of Heavenly Host. Despite the grotesque environment and macabre events that occur within Heavenly Host, Satoshi somehow finds the courage inside himself to push forward for the sake and safety of those important to him, such as his younger sister Yuka.
I imagine that his voice would be somewhat mid-ranged, an average voice for a 16 year old. I want someone to be able to capture him in his best and worst moments; whether he's happy, upset, or determined to leave the Haunted School.
Requirements:
- You have to be able to scream occasionally and portray him crying.
- You must be able to curse lightly. (Satoshi doesn't curse that much in the Corpse Party franchise, but when he does, he truly means it.)
Students from a variety of different schools, most wearing uniforms I didn’t recognize. For all the world, it looked and felt just like a Monday morning assembly. And I clearly wasn’t the only one confused by what was happening. Everybody was looking around in a daze, as if they’d all just woken up.
Ghh. I’m still here! This can only be Heavenly Host Elementary! ... Dammit! Guess I still wasn’t able to stop the Sachiko Ever After ritual.
"H-hold on. Where’s everybody else? Where’s the rest of 2-9?!" (looking around at first, panicking near the end)
Ayumi Shinozaki (篠崎 あゆみ Shinozaki Ayumi?) is one of the main playable characters throughout the Corpse Party series.
She's a student and the class representative of Kisaragi Academy Senior High School's classroom 2-9 (3-1 in the live-action movie), and one of the five original survivors of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
Ayumi is a tough girl with a creepy personality when it comes to occult topics. Inside, she is merely a frightened girl with insecurities. She can be brave, however, as demonstrated when she returned to Heavenly Host to rescue the survivors, despite the possible consequences. She has a crush on Satoshi Mochida, believing him to be the only boy who would remain faithful (this due to her distrust of men and, to a lesser extent, Yoshiki Kishinuma). Because of this, Satoshi is her greatest weakness. For instance, she is insecure about how she appears to Satoshi, as seen in the extra manga. She is also insecure about her ambitions, having been discouraged by other, more experienced illustrators. As a result, she often goes to her sister, Hinoe Shinozaki, or sometimes her teacher, Yui Shishido, for advice. She was a fan of Naho Saenoki and her works until the recent events in Heavenly Host. She hates being alone and is anemic.
Her voice is in a medium rang, not too low but not too high.
Requirements:
- You have to be able to scream occasionally and portray her crying.
- You may have to portray her going insane in one of the future games.
"You absolutely, positively must NOT look into his eyes, okay?!" - Ayumi Shinozaki
"Even if it DID open, I'd be staying right where I am! You think I'm just going to abandon Ms. Yui and all our friends, and run away?!"
Yoshiki Kishinuma (岸沼 良樹 Kishinuma Yoshiki?) is a student of Kisaragi Academy Senior High School's classroom 2-9, one of the five original survivors of Heavenly Host Elementary School, and one of the main playable characters throughout the Corpse Party series.
Giving off the aura of a delinquent, Yoshiki faced difficulty in school due to issues at home. At one point, Yoshiki considered getting himself expelled from Kisaragi Academy, since he could not find a reason to continue attending if he didn't have an interest. However, Ayumi Shinozaki changed Yoshiki's mind on the matter after standing up for him against their P.E. teacher, Mikio Tsubota. Carrying over from his attitude at school, Yoshiki is prone to outbursts of frustration when faced with difficult situations. Though he often means well, his actions can appear cold or even selfish to those around him.
His voice is deep, but not too deep.
Requirements:
- You have to be able to scream occasionally, and yell a LOT.
- Yoshiki is a character that uses a LOT of profanity. Please be willing to record them.
"I've decided to protect you so you can stay just as you are." - Yoshiki Kishinuma
"Maybe we would… if there was somebody fucking there to look at!"
"I just want to bring you back safely! I will do anything to bring you back!" - Yoshiki Kishinuma
Sakutaro Morishige (森繁 朔太郎 Morishige Sakutarō?) is a major character introduced in Corpse Party (PC). He is a student of Kisaragi Academy Senior High School's classroom 2-9 and a victim of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
Sakutaro is a character with layers: he likes to leave a good impression on other people while hiding his inner personality. He acts stoic and collected, taking situations like his best friend's transfer and being encased in Heavenly Host Elementary School in his stride. Sakutaro takes great pride in his family heritage and reacts violently when other people make fun of his name.
Unlike the rest of the characters, he is neither disgusted nor horrified by the excessive gore and decaying corpses in Heavenly Host. Instead, he finds them intriguing and feels comfort in viewing them, which may be a sign of schadenfreude. However, he tries to keep this trait a secret from others. Despite this, he did openly show amusement in chasing Yuka Mochida around, later recalling how much he enjoyed it, though he never intended to actually hurt her, out of his friendship with Satoshi.
In Corpse Party: Book of Shadows episode 5, it is shown just how potentially twisted Sakutaro can become, displaying levels of sadism that rivals that of Yuuya Kizami. Rather than feeling mere comfort, Sakutaro now experiences disturbing amounts of pleasure at the sight of corpses, often donning an eerie grin whilst doing so, something, as noted by Nari Amatoya, he seems to do unconsciously. In addition, instead of finding corpses merely interesting, Sakutaro praises and critiques them as if they were works of fine art. This is most apparent with his treatment of Mayu's corpse, showing a sick kind of reverence for it, and finding himself constantly drawn to it. It appears he also develops a kind of possessiveness towards the bodies he takes pictures of, often calling them "his". Multiple times throughout the chapter, Sakutaro seems to catch himself, and acknowledge his behavior as wrong, yet he always lulls back into his sinister antics soon. This dark side of him can reach its absolute peak as seen in one of the wrong endings, where he willingly and eagerly takes part in torturing and killing Emi Urabe with Sachiko Shinozaki, who seems to have taken to Sakutaro quite a bit.
However, in Corpse Party: Blood Drive, after nearly dying by falling out the window, Sakutaro seems to have snapped out of his corpse obsession, admitting that he was violating the bodies of those who had died, and seemingly regretting his actions. However, in its place is now an odd type of madness, shown when, upon finding Mayu's corpse again, puts in it a plastic bag and walks around with it, treating it as if she were still alive, something he quickly begins to believe, even performing a romantic soliloquy for her, something that even the likes of Yuuya find odd.
His voice is deep, but not too deep.
(He's personally my favorite character, so I look forward to listening to your auditions!!!)
Requirements:
- You have to be able to scream and laugh maniacally. Trust me, this dude is fun to play.
- He curses a little bit from time to time, but he's heavily sadistic once he goes off the chain.
"It's not like this is goodbye forever, so don't cry anymore." - Sakutaro Morishige
Heheh... but that's not the real reason I'm trying so hard to find you. No, nothing so noble. Every time I saw your face, and heard you greet me with that 'Shig, bro!' you'd always say... you were saving my life.
(kind of insane, but trying not to go insane)
Show us a terrified scream, but slowly start to turn it into maniac laughter.
(We need to know that you can do this for this dub, and future Corpse Party dubs!)
If you need a reference, search up "Morishige Scream" on YouTube. Remember, drink plenty of water and try not to strain your vocal chords! <3 This line is REQUIRED.
Seiko Shinohara (篠原 世以子 Shinohara Seiko?) is a major character introduced in Corpse Party (PC). She is a student of Kisaragi Academy Senior High School's classroom 2-9 and a victim of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
Seiko is an extremely cheerful and energetic girl who enjoys playing around with her friends. She often comes across as immature and crass and makes over-the-top outbursts that surprise everyone around her, but her friends are able to put up with it. She generally tries to maintain this personality even while trapped inside Heavenly Host, though the grim reality of their situation nearly causes her to suffer from an emotional breakdown several times.
She is not without a responsible side, however, which she developed after her mother disappeared two years ago in order to support her father and care for her three younger siblings. She easily becomes upset whenever anyone takes her feelings towards her mother's disappearance lightly.
In the game, it is described that she has a perverted side.
Requirements:
- You must be fine with making sexual (but funny) comments.
- I think she screams once or twice, so might as well be prepared.
"No matter if a ghost did this or not, we'll definitely meet up with everyone else! Then, we'll escape from this place together!"
"When you lose a loved one...you cherish that person's memory. It's never a burden..."
I'm... s-so....rry.....! (she's getting choked out)
Yuka Mochida (持田 由香 Mochida Yuka?) is a character introduced in CORPSE-PARTY and a major recurring character of the Corpse Party series.
She is a student of Kisaragi Academy Junior High School's classroom 2-3 and one of the five original survivors of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
She is the daughter of Hiro and Miho Mochida and the younger sister of Satoshi Mochida.
Despite being a teenager, Yuka acts in a much younger manner than her age due to her being more pampered by her parents than her brother. She tries to act like an adult in order to be taken more seriously by her peers, but her constant failures at doing so cause her to come across as even more immature. Her naivety makes her childlike innocence more apparent than the others trapped in Heavenly Host Elementary School, but it also makes her susceptible to being manipulated by the school's more ill-intentioned residents (humans and ghosts alike). It also makes her more psychologically vulnerable to the horrors of the school, causing her to easily break down at the sight of blood, violence, and death.
Because she is spoiled, she depends on those older and more mature than she is to make decisions for her. However, her experiences throughout Heavenly Host force her to act more on her own decisions.
Her voice is high for a 14 year old, that's why I have listed her as a "child" instead of "teen", because she doesn't act like one.
Requirements:
- You must be able to scream and fake cry.
"Well, you see... It's my secret charm. It's full of scented beads. See, caramel flavor is special. It protects you from accidents and shields you from danger. That's why I want you to have it! I don't want... anything to happen to my big brother..."
"Huh? Satsuki?! Why are you here?!"
Yui Shishido (宍戸 結衣 Shishido Yui?) is is a major character introduced in Corpse Party (PC). She is an assistant English homeroom teacher of Kisaragi Academy Senior High School's classroom 2-9, previously a student of classroom 3-4 and a victim of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
Yui is a young teacher who has just started her career at Kisaragi Academy. She is cheerful and friendly to her students, especially to Ayumi Shinozaki, who compares Yui to a sister, and plays pranks along with her. Even though she is enthusiastic, she believed that she was a bad teacher, until Hajime Yamazaki explained to her the true meaning of teaching. Throughout the events in Heavenly Host, Yui proves to be a brave and determined individual that deeply cares for her students, even more than herself.
Her voice is more lower ranged.
Requirements:
- You must be able to scream and fake cry.
"I'm not sure why I believed that. Maybe because I needed to."
I think I speak for every single one of us at Kisaragi Academy... when I say that we love our children... We care about them just as their parents do. Never underestimate a teacher.
That’s true. I’m glad we were all able to reunite like this, but we clearly still haven’t escaped Heavenly Host, so we shouldn’t get our hopes up yet. We have to keep ourselves on alert, okay?
Yuki Kanno (管乃 雪 Kanno Yuki?) (1962 - 1973) was a student of Heavenly Host Elementary School's classroom 5-2, one of the three children spirits who roam Heavenly Host Elementary School, and one of the third victims of the murder case that took place in it.
As a ghost, Yuki is violent and merciless. She kills her victims by stabbing them in the eye with scissors and pleads to get her eye (or tongue) back. Once appeased, it is revealed that she was overtaken by the darkening. She is the only child spirit to talk to Ayumi Shinozaki and Yoshiki Kishinuma. She offers them to save their friends and treats them with kindness. She seemed to be on friendly terms with Yoshikazu Yanagihori.
Her voice is high pitched.
Requirements:
- You must be able to laugh psychotically.
Happy Birthday!!
GIVE... IT... BACK!!!!!!!!! *angry*
Ryou Yoshizawa (吉沢 遼 Yoshizawa Ryō?) (1965 - 1973) was a student of Heavenly Host Elementary School's classroom 3-5, one of the three children spirits who roam Heavenly Host Elementary School, and one of the three victims of the murder case that took place in it.
Not much is known about Ryou's personality before his death.
Out of the three children spirits, he is the most aggressive and appears the most. In Corpse Party: Blood Covered manga, Corpse Party: Another Child and Corpse Party: Tortured Souls he is seen taunting his victims before killing them. Much like Yuki Kanno, he uses pronouns "Big brother/Big sister" on his victims, as seen in Tortured Souls, where he addresses Yoshiki Kishinuma and Ayumi Shinozaki in such a way.
Ryou's main killing methods include inducing hallucinations on his victims, as seen by the hallucinations Yoshiki sees in Corpse Party (buried alive or having wires cut him in half) while making his victims strangle themselves to death. He also uses scissors and stabs his victims, much like the rest of the spirits.
His voice is high pitched because he is a child.
Requirements:
- You must be able to laugh psychotically.
Happy Birthday!!
GIVE... IT... BACK!!!!!!!!! *angry*
Tokiko Tsuji (辻 時子 Tsuji Tokiko?) (1966 - 1973) was a student of Heavenly Host Elementary School's classroom 1-6, one of the three children spirits who roam Heavenly Host Elementary School, and one of the three victims of the murder case that took place in it.
Tokiko is the least prominent of the ghost children, and as a result, little is known about her. In life, she was presumably fairly immature due to her age. As a ghost, she is violent and doesn't listen to much reason. However, it can be noted that she is the least violent of the three ghost children. In the spin-off manga, Corpse Party: Another Child, she even takes up the role of a supporting character by helping the main group of kids with free advice and saved them from some close calls.
Requirements:
- You must be able to laugh psychotically.
Leth paihnn a picshah. Yhuu can be the paihnn! (Let's paint a picture. You can be the paint!) [Her cranium is cut off so she has a hard time speaking.]
Ahee Irr-haay!
Yoshikazu Yanagihori (柳堀 ヨシカズ Yanagihori Yoshikazu?) (1941 - 1974) was a teacher of Heavenly Host Elementary School, and a recurring antagonist in the Corpse Party series.
He is the son of Heavenly Host Elementary School principal Takamine Yanagihori.
In life, Yoshikazu was a sympathetic man who was an employee at Heavenly Host Elementary School. He was well acquainted with a fellow student named Yuki Kanno and was willing to hear out her problems with her mother.
After Yoshie Shinozaki cursed his entire bloodline, chipping away his mental stability and free will, he was forced to takes orders from her daughter, who made him kill those who enter the building of Heavenly Host Elementry School, through the Sachiko Ever After charm.
Even in death, Yoshikazu still serves Sachiko and as such can be found roaming the halls of Heavenly Host looking for people to kill. A number of the corpses found inside the school were killed by his weapon of choice, a large sledgehammer. Another method used by him to murder is knocking the victims unconscious with the sledgehammer and bringing them to the school basement, where he proceeds to drain the blood from the body. He is also known to take his victims dead, or possibly alive, to the dissection room in the school's basement and dissect them piece by piece putting their remains into buckets.
Only once did he disobey Sachiko's order to kill, but he followed through with it later after Sachiko threatened his safety.
Requirements:
- You must be able to yell random sounds, that's pretty much it.
"ROOOOOOAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!"
Sayaka Ooue (大上 さやか Ōue Sayaka?) is a character introduced in Corpse Party (PC).
She is a student of Paulownia Academy High School's classroom 2-1, a radio personality and a model, and a victim of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
Sayaka is a sweet and caring girl, albeit leads a busy life, especially because of her part-time job as a radio personality. Her friendship with Naho is strong, forgiving her if she does anything wrong. She would even risk her life for Naho's wishes, even when in death. She sees Kou as handsome but is not romantically interested in him. She dislikes maggots and the sight of blood; the sheer sight and feeling will send chills down her spine.
Sayaka also declines and possibly hates her childhood friend Haruyuki Inumaru as she gets annoyed by his behavior.
Sayaka used to be an unpopular and unattractive girl. However, she got sick of herself, so she forced herself to be prettier to increase her popularity and self-esteem. It's also the reason she is surprised when she finds out that her beautiful friend has no social contacts, as she expected that every pretty girl must be popular.
Requirements:
- Be ready to scream and cry.
"Naaaaahoooo!"
"Umm... I'd like to go home, please!"
"Our friendship will last forever... it will never die."
Naho Saenoki (冴之木 七星 Saenoki Naho?) is a character introduced in Corpse Party (PC) and a major recurring character in the Corpse Party series. She is the main protagonist of Corpse Party Cemetery0 light novel and Corpse Party CEMETERY0 ~Kaibyaku no Ars Moriendi~ manga.
She is a student of Paulownia Academy High School's classroom 2-1, a schoolgirl paranormalist, and a victim of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
Naho initially presented herself as a stoic, wise, and enigmatic character who seemed to harbor ethically vague sentiments. However, she gradually evinced her darker emotions when Ayumi Shinozaki confronted her about the underlying circumstances behind Kou Kibiki's demise and the Sachiko Ever After charm. Naho's obsession for Kou motivated her to sabotage the charm's instructions in hopes of giving her mentor more "samples" to study. Naho's love, selfishness, and callousness ultimately became her downfall when she realized what she has done when she was affected by darkening.
In spite of the aforementioned traits, Naho's personality had some endearing aspects, such as amiability and childish eccentricity; which were evidenced by her interactions with Sayaka Ooue. Sayaka regarded Naho as her best friend, and the sentiment seemed mutual.
Requirements:
- Be ready to yell and be able to laugh hysterically.
"You care for your loved ones...thus you suffer sorrow and despair. The beautiful stigmata that is bonded by both the living and the dead."
"Until the moment you die, you will be alone."
"You want us to have fun?"
