Cornered: An LAiB Projects Horror Audio Production
Project Overview
Hey guys! I hope yall are doing well! So I've been working on my horror audio drama and we've completed episode 1 and episode 2 is about 95% done as well. I would like to give a shoutout to the cast for helping me put together this insanely cool project! Yall rock! Anyway, what I'm looking for now are 3 voice actors to help me put together the cold openings of the first 2 episodes. A cold opening on tv is when they jump right into the narrative before the opening credits take place. These will be short. Probably about a minute or so each and they are there to introduce you into key parts of the story.
In this post I will have a link to the completed episode 1 so yall can hear and get an understanding of the radio drama. There are 3 roles that need to be filled. The role of Raina is a female role, but the other 2 are genderless. I'm not looking for anything in particular so any accent is acceptable. If you need anymore info on the roles please contact me. I'll also link the cold open scripts if you need more context into the lines and scenes.

Raina is an old friend of Lee's. When he calls her for help, she is, at first, reluctant. But she owes him some favors and decides to repay her debt. She is like a sister to Lee, and he trusts her completely.

RAINA: Roanoke…That was the first Colony in America, right?
RAINA: (sigh, concerned) Y’know, I had to go through alot of people to get this. The least you could do is tell me why you need…a military-grade rifle and a computer.
RAINA: (concerned) Lee, what's going on? Who’s after you?
An assistant working on a new medical discovery. He/she understands the risks involved with this work and is fearful but at the same time understands its significance.
ASSISTANT: And what about the others who were…forcibly infected?
ASSISTANT: (nervous) And if there’s a worst case scenario?
ASSISTANT: (slightly fearful) You and Serrano really thought this out, didn’t you?
An unnamed doctor is close with the antagonist, Serrano. Together they have developed something dangerous. He shows remorse for his subjects, but knows he is on the verge of something revolutionary.
DOCTOR: She’s improving. Whatever we did last time triggered her migraines. I adjusted her medication and took her off the sleeping pills.
DOCTOR: Yes it was. But that also means the Lockespur is working as intended. Her brain activity is still normal and is showing no signs of degradation.
DOCTOR: We have contingencies. And if those fail…there’s always Croatoan.
