Rough outline done!
It's been a year, but I'm finally returning to complete this like I always should've! The voice tracks are all synced up, are close enough in quality, and all around the same volume. Gathering sound effects might be the hard part, but I'm working on it! :)
Your typical late night talk show host. He cracks jokes and has that air that makes him somewhat obnoxious, but at the same time, oddly charming. As the story goes on, his temper wears thinner and thinner, until he breaks under stress and becomes a screaming, hysterical mess.
(shouting over the audience) Good night, and welcome to Conversations Past Midnight! I’m your host, Charlie Gilliam, and boy do I have a show for you tonight!
(seeming annoyed; to RON, offhandedly) I’m sorry. (He turns his attention back to the production team off-set.) What do you mean, Emmett left? He was just there. I was just staring at him a second ago. Where did he go? He’s my director, guys. Why would he leave in the middle of a live broadcast? (He pauses.) (sardonic) Well, did he take the mask with him or something? (He pauses again.) Don’t shrug at me, Stuart.
Why are you applauding? Stop it! Stop clapping! Stop!! STOP CLAPPING!! WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!
The founder of The Grapevine. He's a jolly, somewhat overweight man from a rich background, but he's a good person. He loves his family, and as the events of the script transpire, he grows increasingly desperate to see them again.
The Grapevine is a work in progress right now, but the general concept of it is to have it be an annual event, probably occurring on Halloween, in which participants gather together dressed exactly the same and wearing the same mask. The goal will be to keep yourself anonymous in a crowd of strangers, and to listen in to peoples’ conversations. You can use your anonymity to confess to your deepest darkest secrets, which will be the main goal of the event, but, see, there’s a catch.
How brave!
(begging) Look, I--I just want to go home! I have a wife and daughter! I have a family!

Sound director, and also a scaredy-cat. He believes in the paranormal, and is a bit of a nerd. From the get-go, he's trying to warn Charlie that not all is right. He becomes increasingly panicked as the script goes on.
(nervous) Charlie. Charlie, listen to me. This is important. Those people in the studio audience... Charlie, they--they aren’t people!
It leads to a wall! What kind of a door leads to a wall? That was the door out of the set, but it leads to a *f*cking* wall!
(panicking) We can’t get out! We’re gonna die in here, man!
Sixty seconds before we’re on-air again...
