Community College, Animated Short
Project Overview
Hey, I am so excited to present to you my first ever animated project. This is a casting call for the short I am creating called Community College. The plot of the short centers around six characters (some of which are drastically different ages) navigating the wild wacky world of community college. Except its not just an ordinary community college. It is tied to the backrooms and SCP foundation.......once you are enrolled there is no unenrolling . The group of students are desperately trying to escape, while their professor tries to gaslights them into believing everything is safe and ok.
For recording programs I prefer Audacity, but anything that can be converted to a mp3or mp4 is fine.
This project has seven open voice acting roles. There is no lead for this role, as all the characters are equally as important and will have a equal amount lines. I'm not too strict when it comes to mic quality ( A Ffine gaming mic or anything in the equivalent is the minimum) . No background noise, speak clearly and be sure your voice can be can heard ! The script is still in the process of being written. The dialogue listed in this post will not be used in the final. If given a part you will be sent the full script.
I do not have a solid release date for this project yet. As my animation skill level is still very beginner, so this may take a while for me to fully animate ( I start animating once all voice work is wrapped up ) . Despite that I am hoping to wrap this project up by July.

Chill, whimsical, laptop‑tethered, speaks like she’s auditioning for Romeo & Juliet at all times. She carries her laptop everywhere she goes. Even behind the counter at Gary's Custard when her manager isn't looking. Despite finding herself in Community College after going through school as a 4.0 student she is still bright eyed and has high expectations for her future. She is the first character to realize the schools anomalies.

"E-girl" is her entire identity and all she cares about is gaining traction to her numerous social media account, one being a OF. She has a twin sister who is enrolled in Harvard who she is very close with and devastated that she is separated from her . If anyone will get everyone killed its definitely this diva.

Emmy is a exceptionally gifted 10 year old girl who skipped 5th-12th grade and is now taking community college classes. She has gotten local news attention and "baby-genius" headlines. While quick witted, she is still just a ten year old girl who loves , barbies, plushies and glitter gel pens.

A 80 year old man with questionable political views. His frail , fragile body may be in 2026 but his mind is stuck in the 50s . In this situation he may be a liability...or his wisdom might be helpful...who knows.

Just your basic average 20 year old man. He lives in a apartment with his friends and his car is mysteriously always "in the shop". He has a girlfriend who is borderline abusive but for some reason he still tolerates her.

The professor of this class. This class was originally supposed to be a Introduction to sociology class but that was a lie. Professor Goghs real job is to be sure that nobody becomes aware that they are unsafe.
