ABOUT THE COMIC
Farren is up late, yet again, doing work when Naomi comes in concerned about her lack of sleep over the past few nights. Naomi decides to stay with Farren until she finishes her work to make sure she goes to sleep. Farren gives into her wife's stubborn decision and the two sit together for a period of time. Eventually, right in the middle of work, Farren ends up getting that sleep she desperately needs...however...there's a reason she's been avoiding slumber lately...

ABOUT THE CHARACTER:
Pronunciation: FAIR-REN
Farren is a raven mutant. She is the co-leader, along with her wife Naomi, of the Viridian Mastery faction in the criminal organization known as LUCENT. Their faction is in charge of their library filled with forbidden, cursed, and powerful spell books. Farren for the most part seems very harsh and cold, but that mostly has to do with her traumatic past. She's not the most social of the duo, often leaving most of the talking to Naomi. She mainly chooses to focus on her job of handling cursed books and organizing their collection.
Farren's tone is very serious yet composed and proper. Although she lets herself become more expressive around her wife, when it comes to work, she keeps up a proper attitude and respectful tone when she needs to. She never really raises her voice, whether it be confronting an enemy, or telling her wife off for bringing in yet another stray cat.

[Polite/Composed] Evening. You must the new rookie. My name is Farren. Co-leader of the Viridian Mastery. Our faction houses the biggest library of forbidden and cursed spell books and knowledge you could ever seek out. Please do be careful when handling any and all books. We don’t want a repeat of…*Sigh* last time. Huh? Oh it’s nothing. Just…keep your eye out for any evil spirits. There’s a chance we may have missed one.
-[Annoyed] Naomi. Sweetheart. Love of my life. Do you wanna explain why so many of our books are covered in cat scratches and cat hair again? It couldn’t possibly be because SOMEONE brought in more stray cats when they already promised to stop doing that. Right?
-[Wakes up breathing heavily and scared then eventually calming down] O-Oh…just a dream. *Sigh* Again. Ugh. Come on Farren. It’s been years. Just…just don’t think about it…and everything will be okay…yeah…okay…

ABOUT THE CHARACTER:
Pronunciation: NYE-OH-MI
Naomi is a Bakeneko (Cat Spirit). She is the co-leader, along with her wife Farren, of the Viridian Mastery faction in the criminal organization known as LUCENT. Their faction is in charge of their library filled with forbidden, cursed, and powerful spell books. Naomi is seen as the friendliest and most approachable out of all the faction leaders. She is almost always seen with a welcoming smile on her face and friendly attitude. However this doesn't mean she is someone to be taken advantage of. Behind this friendly personality is a great amount of strength and wits.
Naomi is friendly but not in an excited way. In a more GENTLE way. Her tone is very gentle and poised. Even when she is being intimidating, she still keeps that gentleness to her voice to the point it actually makes her MORE scary. However she can get a bit excited when it comes to taking in stray cats.

[Welcoming/Friendly/Smiling] Oh goodness. Welcome, welcome. Come in. My name is Naomi. Co-leader of the Viridian Mastery. I’m sure you’ve already met my wife Farren. We oversee the collection of our many spell books. I know it may sound boring from the outside but…I do hope you have experience dealing with evil spirits and curses. If you do, I’m sure you’ll fit right in!
[Annoyed/Irritated] Ugh. I hate werewolves. What? No! It’s not cause I’m a cat! I mean isn’t it obvious? They’re loud! They’re dirty! And they have no sense of refinement! I swear they’re all muscle and lack manners. Tch. Oversized mutts.
[Confronting an Enemy/Intimidating/Amused] Hm. You severely underestimate me. I may seem like a small and fragile little thing…well, as you put it…but us cats have claws for a reason. I mean…I’M not the one lying on the ground in their own blood right now.
