VAs for Student Thesis Film Wanted!
I'm a student at UCF that's looking for voice actors for my short animated thesis film. The premise has six characters discussing with their creator (me) the thesis itself and how they're to go about it.
I need VAs as soon as possible, so please send in your auditions! Make sure you have a relatively good mic quality as I need to work with it for the film. I would also like you to do at least two takes per line so I get a better gist of your range.
These are all unpaid roles, so keep this in mind!
In the future, I may call back the same VAs for any future things like comic dubs or animations I want to do with the Clockwork Gang, so be open to that idea.

So some extra information regarding auditions:
I won't be casting until the day of deadline to keep it fair for anyone who comes in much later, but I will be dismissing or shortlisting people. If you're dismissed, please don't take it personally! It just means your voice doesn't match the characters I need right now. I may come visit you again in the future for any future projects! (I'm keeping a list)
I won't comment publicly on feedback, but if I have feedback to give, expect me to pop up either on your CCC DMs or in your Discord!
There is a chance those who auditioned will be asked to read for another character that suits the voice better!
I may ask some voice actors to re-read some lines or read new lines in DMs just to get a better idea of your range. (Basically, callbacks lite edition).

One of the lead roles. A very ambitious 17-year-old boy who is quite the energetic optimist. Think of standard shounen protagonists. Bring energy with these lines!

One of the leads. The older brother of Gear, he's more realistic and pessimistic. This doesn't mean he doesn't have his own energetic moments, he just tends to be more of a negative nancy. He's a little brash and passive-aggressive.
The glass is half empty. Are we done with the stupid questions now?
(sarcastic) Oh, yeah, a wrench! Sure. That'll definitely get us some cash.

A young teen that's very naive and curious about the world around them. They're very bubbly and sweet, with a good heart. They have moments where their naivety fades away, and they shift to a more mature tone. Their voice generally sounds young and on the higher-pitched end, so please keep this in mind.
(peppy) What am I...? I'm a flower!

A sassy girl with a no-nonsense attitude. She's bold and courageous, always doing what she thinks is right.

A rambunctious, chaotic girl. She's extremely energetic and has a high-pitched voice, tends to bumble about and do whatever quenches her curiosity.

Technically, the glass is always full; there's both water and air inside of it.
L is very much a man of little words. He's stoic and aloof, and comes off as calm and collected. His voice is relatively low and he tends to sound monotone, but that doesn't mean there isn't any emotion to his voice. Keep his tone in mind.
We're the same, you and I. You just don't want to admit it.
I don't think you understand the depth of the situation here...
