UPDATE: 4/20/17: Thank you very much to those who auditioned! We did it! If I seemed like I completely skipped over your audition without giving you feedback, I apologize. I believe everyone has an equal chance and I don't want to shoot down any hope of being cast before the final deadline. Since I have people cast both here and Behind the Voice Actors, I'm going to try to message each and every one of you to obtain more personal contact information so I can keep everyone together.

This is a Super Smash Bros. Brawl Machinima that I've started WAY back in in mid-2008, and after a complete failure back during the past couple years, I have decided to restart it and reboot it. There are two writers this time instead of one. Myself - HylianPrincessLida, and a good friend of mine, PrincessZelda128.
Series Description: Strange things are happening in both Hyrule and Mushroom Kingdom; kidnappings and unexplainable natural disasters. With these events Princess Zelda begins to have prophetic dreams about the Legendary Three Worlds: the Light World, Dark World, and the unknown world; Dusk World; a dimension that balances the Light and Dark World. She enlists Link’s help to help find Mushroom Kingdom’s best warrior's, Mario and Luigi. Soon they discover Princess Peach has fallen victim to the frequent kidnappings…. and that she has been taken to an unfamiliar world.
During their adventure; the four protagonists will find their own Dark and Dusk World Counterparts…
And they uncover the true story about Hyrule’s fourth Goddess…

Deadline extended to November 1st since more roles have opened up
Thanks so much for auditioning everyone! I look forward to working with new cast members! Those of you who auditioned for Zelda; I apologize for being a little picky. I noticed I wasn't very clear about what kind of emotion I was looking for in one audition line, and I called it a dealbreaker if the emotion wasn't right. I updated that so hopefully things will be a little clearer now if you want to re-audition. Also, Mr. M, Mr. L, and Toru are open again. -

One of the main protagonists of the story as well as one of the five heroes. Zelda is given visions of what is to happen to the three worlds, but is unsure on who is behind it. As a strong leader, she and Link end up working together with both Luigi and Mario to enter the Dusk and Dark Worlds to stop Liera from taking over. Zelda is calm, wise, and knows her way around almost any obstacle with her training as the Queen of Hyrule. Knowing little of Link before working with him, she’s wary, but eventually learns to trust him working alongside her.

Out of all of Zelda’s counterparts, Meralda is the most outgoing and optimistic out of the four of them. She is courageous and is willing to fight, doing whatever it takes to succeed. However, depending on her mood, she can be a bit reckless as well as sarcastic and slightly provocative. She can be extremely stubborn, much to the annoyance of everyone else.

Peach’s Dark World Counterpart.

Unlike their Light World Counterparts, they enjoy and thrive off chaos. When Hilda’s rule of order and peace vanished from the land, the trio began to wreak havoc across the world. As they hear of their counterparts’ are in the Dark World, wanting to restore order, they hunt them down wanting the chaos in their world to continue. During their encounter with the heroes, they explain that the Dark World was once a place of order… until their leader had a sudden change of heart.

Princess Mirabelle is the one (former), true ruler of the Aurora Kingdom; the Mushroom Kingdom's Dark World equivalent. Although not evil, she is the complete opposite of Princess Peach; reclusive, shy, and wanting nothing to do with being a princess. Her reclusive, rebellious nature caused riots within her kingdom, and resulted in her becoming a loner. It was only then she found the company of Mr. M, and Mr. L, and in revenge, she desired to wreak havoc in any way she could in the Dark World, eventually ending in her exile. After turning to the Goddess of Silence, Liera. She was given a new form, and her granted darkness made her much more powerful.

Ravio is the long-lost "true" Dark World counterpart of Link. Before, he, too, fell under the Goddess Liera's influence/curse, he was similar to the Ravio you may know from "Link Between Worlds." He was cowardly, lazy, and had no idea how to protect "his princess". However, deep down, he hungered and wholeheartedly desired power; the darkest power anyone could ever imagine. His heart's desire led him to Liera, the Goddess of Silence, who influenced him to become "Dark Link," the antihero of Lorule; the most fearsome warrior of the Dark World.
Voice-type: Medium, tenor-like or baritone.
Lorule is almost completely shrouded in darkness...or is it light? Either way, nothing I can do about it...

This is Princess Hilda's entity when she's under the Goddess of Silence; Liera's influence. She is not possessed by Liera at this point, but is rather independent and intelligent compared to Hilda. She and Dark Link often get into quarrels and their differences completely repel them most of the time. Dark Zelda is cruel, sadistic, and cares for no one but herself and Liera.

The Princess of the Dark World, or as it is rarely known - Lorule. She is not the “Princess Hilda” that collaborated with Yuga to gain Hyrule’s Triforce to save Lorule. She is, in fact, an incarnation of the equivalent to Zelda’s ancestors in the “hero was successful” timeline and vessel for the 4th Goddess; Liera. Due to her naïve and foolish nature, Dark Link is able to bring her to Liera to trust him before falling victim to her malevolent influence.
Voice Type: Medium-high, cold but good-natured

Peach is the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom and at the start of the series, is kidnapped once again by Bowser. She is the first to visit the Dusk World and is able to get a message to Mario VIA Rosalina… mentioning that she is in a very strange place… nowhere like the Mushroom Kingdom or any other land they have been to before. Peach, though a damsel, can be very snippy toward her capturers and often tries to break away and get free. At one point in the series, she is able to escape from Ganon and Bowser inside the Dusk World and ventures the unfamiliar world and runs into several doppelgangers that help her find her friends and join the quest to bring back balance to the three worlds.

One of Peach’s Dusk World Counterparts. Pichi is a somewhat snobbish, girly girl that only cares about appearances (hers and others). Rather than worrying about her or others safety, she is more concerned if her hair or dress have been ruined. Out of all Peach’s counterparts, Pichi is the most innocent and childish, a little like Mila from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker with a slightly harsh personality. Therefore, she never really understands the severity of their situation.

An incarnation of Peach from the Dusk World, just like Kinoko and Pichi. Unlike Peach and her two other counterparts, Mamiya is serious, hard and will not take crud from anyone. She is a complete tomboy (more so than Daisy, despite the lipstick) and knows how to defend herself, even so far to admit that she dislikes having an appearance similar to Peach herself. She takes her duty as a guardian of the Dusk World seriously and is unwelcoming to strangers, especially the likes of Ganondorf, Bowser, even Liera.

After being banished to the Dark World, Ganondorf is sought out by Dark Link to assist him in taking over the three worlds… offering Ganon the Light World as his reward. Ganon of course accepts, and begins to put he and Dark Link’s plan to action. Ganon enlists the help of Bowser (who has access to the Light World) to kidnap those who Dark Link has ordered. Dark Link grants both Bowser and Ganon access to the Dusk World to hold their captives until the time is right. Of course, at the end of the series Liera and Dark Link tell Ganon that they have only been using him.

Link’s counterpart of the Dark World. He is Liera’s one and only TRUE minion. Concocting a plan to take over the 3 worlds before the series starts, Dark Link is able to trick Princess Hilda of falling in love with him, leaving her vulnerable to Liera’s possession. Due to Dark Link’s success, Liera is able to change Hilda’s appearance and reputation… only allowing herself to be addressed as “Dark Zelda.” Dark Link then proceeds to enlist the help of Ganon and Bowser to begin kidnappings of those who are also worthy of being a vessel for Liera. Or someone that will give the Goddess more power. He is technically “Liera/Dark Zelda’s Messenger” for Bowser and Ganon. (notable traits: proud, cunning, manipulative, cruel)

One of the five heroes. When Zelda told Link of the nightmares she has been having, Link warns her not to take them lightly. He proposes they must look into the suspicious kidnappings happen in Hyrule and the Mushroom Kingdom. His courage never wavers until he is found face to face with Dark Link and Liera. But he is able to conquer them with the help of Zelda, Mario, Luigi, and Peach. Link is extremely protective of Zelda and will risk his life to make sure she’s safe, which causes him to act a little reckless, but he is not weak by any means despite how he was portrayed previously.

Out of Zelda’s counterparts, Rubina bears the most resemblance to her. She is intelligent, wise, and level headed. She is selfless, caring and motherly to those she cares about. Though, she is often too serious; as she doesn’t have a sense of humor. If an enemy attacks a friend, Rubina will become infuriated and fight for their ensured protection.

Don’t worry, Zelda. As the reincarnations of the three golden goddess, we will surely figure out how to defeat Liera.

Saphira is the timidest out of Zelda’s counterparts. As she is kind and gentle, she is a pacifist making her relatively weak. As fights break out, she is often found hiding behind stronger characters such as Meralda. As Liera’s power and darkness spread through the three worlds, Saphira becomes more and more paranoid that someone will attack… or the world will end as she knows it. She can be a crybaby at times when something is out of her control.

He also seems to have someone interested in him...but even knowing this, he waits for her to come forward...

Luigi’s Dusk World counterpart - with a fiery and aggressive temper, Ruiji is someone not to mess with. His hot temper often leads to fights amongst the other inhabitants of Dusk World. Though disliked by most, people respect his strength and vitality. Unlike Peach and Luigi’s relationship in the Light World, Pichi, Kinoko, and Mamiya are all intimidated by him and refuse to try to keep a positive friendship with him due to his ability to snap at the drop of a hat.
Voice Type: Medium deep, can have an accent, can sound like Luigi. Experiment!

Aloof from the rest of the guardians/warriors of the Dusk World, Toru isn’t much for words. However, he does have close friendships with Kinoko, Pichi, and Mamiya and acts as their personal advisor or butler if you want to call it that. Ruiji often picks fights with him in particular in an attempt to get closer to those princesses, but Toru never gives in.

The last of Luigi’s Dusk World Counterparts, this Luigi is more emotionally repressed, disliking expressing his feelings, but he isn’t shy like Luigi himself. He doesn’t like to beat around the bush and gets right to the point. Deep down, Kenji is sensitive and empathetic, making sure that Kinoko, Pichi, and Mamiya’s best interests are taken care of.
Voice Type: Deep, preferably a Spanish accent
