Project Overview
Hello there and welcome to my Chaos Code New Sign of Catastrophe Fandub Casting Call!
What is Chaos Code? Article taken from Steam
CHAOS CODE -NEW SIGN OF CATASTROPHE- is a simple yet highly flexible hi-speed 2D Fighting game, where players can enjoy the thrill of fighting with all the flashy moves!
1. What is the project? - This project will be a 10 minute video, roughly, showcasing several of the character's attacks from the game. Characters from the game will be open for auditions, and our voices will be used in the video instead of the original voice actors' voices. Please note that none of the characters have English voices, so the interpretation is completely up to you! Be as creative as you can!
2. How long will the project be? - The project will hopefully last only 1 month at the latest. Each character will have 1 script with around 10 lines at max. The initial deadline will be 2 weeks from when the lines are sent out. And if any extensions are needed, please be sure to let me know. The video will be uploaded once all the lines are received. Footage is currently being gathered.
3. Mic Quality - Though an expensive microphone is not required, it would be more ideal if you had as best as quality as you can manage. Please try not to record in an echoy space, or have too much background noise. Other things like pops are also preferred to be kept to a minimum.
4. Acting Ability - As this project WILL require shouting, it is imperative that you display your ability to shout in your audition. Line 3 for all characters is short specifically to demonstrate your ability to shout. Please note that you do not have to scream the place down, but as long as you can show that you can comfortably shout, that would be great! And obviously, no whispering! Lines 1 and 2 need not be shouted, they are just simple audition lines so I can get a feel of your voice!
5. Cast for multiple roles? - I'd like to do a 1 role per actor rule, but if I like your auditions for multiple characters, then I will cast you as multiple characters! If you would only like to be cast as one character, please state so on at least 1 of your auditions.
6. Communication - Either Discord or email. I will most likely have a Discord group set up so please have a Discord account so you can join, and an active email address for back up.
And finally, be sure to have fun! This game was recommended to me to create a fandub of, and with a cast of completely colourful and original characters, I believe we can create a final product that will stand out and maybe introduce some new fans to the game.
Please note that no extra characters will be added as this game came out in 2011.

Finally, I possibly might self cast for a role myself, but I will wait until I have cast all the roles, and I may not even need to self cast!
The casting will take place on June 29th. If the deadline needs to be extended after that, it will be extended for another week. And then we will see how we have gotten on with casting from there.
