Centauri program

The series follows a 17 year old prodigy  who worked as the head of a division of NASA called the Centauri Initiative. While the world was facing environmental collapse, he and his team launched a mission to explore a sudden rift in space, hoping to find another habitable planet. After nine months of the mission, they suddenly lost all connection with the spacecraft and their friends. A year later, he falls into a conspiracy and discovers that the connection loss wasn’t an accident. He leaves NASA when they try to cut his funding to grow the Centauri program, a less corrupt version of the initiative with the same goal: to save humanity by going to Alpha Centauri. The series follows Paine as he navigates this new world, trying to achieve what many thought was impossible for the betterment of mankind.
