Celestial Redux
Project Overview
Celestial Redux is an original Friday Night Funkin' mod centered around a cast of celestial characters, cosmic environments, and an original story.
We're currently looking for additional talent to help us complete the project, including voice talent, UTAU experience, and sound design. Our goal is to give each character a distinct identity through their music, vocals, and presentation. The project is paid, and we're looking for people who are communicative, reliable, and willing to experiment creatively with us.
Please provide examples of your previous work when auditioning with a link!
We are looking for an audio engineer or sound designer to create a unique synthetic vocal sound for Magnetar, one of the main characters in Celestial Redux. Rather than using a traditional voice actor, we want Magnetar's singing voice to be entirely instrumental/synth-based, similar to how some Friday Night Funkin' characters use instruments or synthesizers as their vocals. The goal is to give Magnetar a recognizable sound that feels like it belongs specifically to him. Magnetar's vocals should feel dark, celestial, powerful, mysterious, and slightly unnatural, while still being melodic and expressive enough to work naturally within FNF songs. We're open to experimentation with synthesizers, processed instruments, layered sounds, distortion, or other creative sound design techniques.
The finished vocals should be provided as a usable chromatic scale/sample set that our composers can easily use when producing music for the mod. Experience with FNF chromatics, synthesizers, sound design, FL Studio, Serum, Vital, or similar software is preferred. Please provide examples of previous sound-design, synth, or FNF-related work if possible.
We're especially interested in someone willing to experiment—we don't want Magnetar to sound like a generic FNF chromatic. His sound should be immediately recognizable as his own.

We are looking for someone experienced with UTAU/OpenUtau to create and configure a functional voicebank for Spacey in Celestial Redux.
We will provide the necessary voice recordings. Your role will be to configure, oto, test, and polish the voicebank so it sounds clean and can easily be used by our composers. Experience with Japanese UTAU voicebanks, particularly VCV or CV, is preferred. Please provide examples of previous UTAU/OpenUtau work if available.

Spacey Quintuplet is the young prince of Doran, a kingdom trapped in eternal night. Soft-spoken, feminine, and gentle, he hardly resembles a traditional prince. Beneath his delicate nature lies the immense power of a neutron star, creating a contrast between someone incredibly kind and something cosmically destructive.
Spacey should have a soft, youthful, and androgynous voice with a slightly feminine quality. His voice should sound gentle and elegant rather than overly masculine or deep, while still having enough energy and clarity for expressive UTAU vocals. We're especially looking for a voice that can sound cute and warm during softer melodies, but powerful and emotional when a song becomes more intense. Avoid overly deep, raspy, or exaggerated anime style voices. The goal is for Spacey's UTAU to sound beautiful, recognizable, youthful, and slightly ethereal/celestial.
We are looking for a voice actor to provide vocals for Spacey’s UTAU voicebank. His voice should be youthful, soft, androgynous, slightly feminine, and expressive. We are open to working with anyone who has experience speaking and recording in both Japanese and English. Native fluency is not required, but clear and natural pronunciation in both languages is strongly preferred.
