Project Overview
Hey everyone! Arbiter 617 here doing our third round of casting for our upcoming fantasy Minecraft animation series: Songs of War!
I'm the creator of the YouTube channel Black Plasma Studios, which currently has over 1,680,000 subscribers. Most of our animations receive over a million views, with the more popular ones getting around 10 million.
Songs of War is a medieval fantasy animation series set in an original universe, following a few story arcs which are all interconnected. The primary focus is on mystical objects known as "Songs," which the Ardoni species can harness to wield great powers. The series is three seasons in total, with 10 episodes per season.
We have secured many of the voice actors with the first two rounds of casting, but are still struggling to find voices for a handful of characters- specifically for the Ardoni characters. The human and other species all filled fast, but finding voice actors to fit the Ardoni has been challenging! With the Ardoni characters we tend to need slightly deeper more mature voices, and fairly well-spoken. If you're familiar with the "elite" species from Halo, you can certainly use those voices as inspiration and reference.
We are including the full excerpts for each character so you can understand exactly what's going on in the scenes. The character's lines are highlighted in light blue, just as they will be in the script you'll be given if chosen.
All characters have had their payment amount increased a bit in the hopes of drawing in a wider selection of interested voice actors.
Casting ends the night of April 22nd! Please get your audition in before then.
