Kasey is a normal teenaged boy who moves to a small town in the US from the UK. The only thing he can remember is falling asleep and waking up outside of a different house. His best friend Tia moved from the US to the UK but ended up leaving unexpectedly without an explanaition 7 years prior to when the story begins. Kasey and Tia are reuinited when Kasey moves to the new neighbourhood as it is a coincidence that Kasey and his family moved to the same neighbourhood as Tia and her family. Kasey starts at a new school and meets a few new friends, one of them being Ollie. A few weeks into school Ollie discover's the reason behind why Kasey had to move to the US and keeps it a secret from Kasey. Ollie eventually tells Kasey the secret without realising that Kasey was going to find out that Ollie was the reason behind the move. Kasey and Ollie have to keep the secret to themselves and make sure not to let anyone know the secret, this results in Kasey and Ollie spending a lot of time together. Kasey and Ollie's relationship ends up developing romantically and they start working together to figure out if anyone else has the same secret. Eventually, Kasey discovers the real reason as to why Tia had to move from the UK and how they ended up moving to the same neighbourhood. Tia then discovers Kasey's secret without realising they have the same secret and they end up drifting apart due to them not spending a lot of time together until one day, Kasey tells Tia the secret that Kasey and Ollie have been hiding and shows her that she has the same secret as they've been hiding. The three of them then struggle to keep the secret between the three of them and have to avoid obstacles along the way until the day comes for the secret to be released.
